Mimi's Donuts

The owners of this donut store are great people and they will do whatever they need to do to make sure you're taking care of. On the other hand, this place is swarming with lottery ticket people that take up the tables all day long and end up getting in your way and almost ignoring anyone else that's there just to get donuts or coffee.

Crumb red velvet and Cinnamon toast donuts are so tasty 😋. I’ll be back for more 😊. Amazing service!! The Guys are nice!!

Small doughnut 🍩 shop. The attendant was the owner. (I'm assuming)
Was approachable, however, very basic but fundamentally sound customer service skills.
The doughnuts were actually good my favorite in the random grab was the large cinnamon roll sweet bread crumbs style.

Also that set them apart a little bit from the rest was the energy drink "Xs" a brand I remember and recognize from "Amway". A good quality drink

Would I go back?
Although I don't often travel into Downey. Yes I would go back at random while using the mentioned app

Do I recommend?
Big Yes, for a small doughnut shop it's actually good. If you are nearby, support a small business and you are in for a really good treat.

Let's start with the beautiful owners greeting you as soon as you come in , such kindness and good vibes it's a way to start. And the breakfast #2 🥐 was delicious 😋 my husband and I really enjoy it, coffe de olla hit the spot 👌. New owners , new flavors, new options, price is just right especially in this economy.

The most unassuming little place-- the name isn't even on the front of the it. There is nothing fancy or gimmicky about these donuts; they're just REALLY good donuts. I had a chocolate long john. The chocolate was plentiful and good; the donut is super soft. I also had some glazed donut holes, also very good. For $6 I got 2 long johns. a dozen donut holes, and a freshly toasted bagel with cream cheese. Everything was fresh and good quality.

Custom donuts, yes please. So good. I brought my tree to grab some donuts.

Ms Kim was very nice and professional.
