LuLu Chinese & Dim Sum

Went on Christmas Eve. We were totally surprised at how great it was. General’s chicken was excellent and the shrimp dish was fantastic as well. A total shocker how good it was!

We decided to try a bunch of different food here. The Salt & Pepper Shrimp is so good. I also loved the Yangzhou Fried Rice, Garlic Green Beans, BBQ pork, & Shu Mai. Seafood Hot Pot & Shredded Beef Porridge were okay but we'd probably go with something else next time. Overall, food was tasty & authentic Asian.

Yummy. I'm not easy to please. I'm Korean and from Los Angeles and had access to lots of good Chinese food before moving here. Not easy to find good Asian food in St. Louis. Good central location. Like the salt & pepper calamari and the shrimp was succulent--not overcooked and large--not the little bay shrimp. Beef was tasty and tender--it must have been ribeye or tenderloin. Even my picky elementary-school-aged son liked the food...I almost fell out of the booth from surprise. Try it out! Would be a nice calm place for families to eat, too. Took pics of the food I liked. (By the way, I saw some other reviews. This may be too authentic for non-Asians. There is always Panda Express if you don't like authentic.)

This dining experience was a first for me. I tried the dim sum, and was very satisfied with my choices. The food was very clean, light, well-seasoned, and healthy. The atmosphere was calm, bright, and soothing. Everyone should try it at least once!

Everything's good here. Place order online and pick up. Calling doesn't work out very well. Even with the Parking lot empty, they are busy. Also the eggplant crisps right back up in the air fryer/toaster oven.

Not sure why there are so many negative reviews. I went here recently got the combination lo mein and orange chicken and both were great! Good food, decent price, good service, I would recommend!

The soup dumplings were outstanding, the pit stickers to doe for and the mapo tofu was the best I've had in st Louis! Great place! Far as I can tell the bad reviews are from folks whose idea of Chinese food is panda express. 😎

We have been going here and their other branches for yearsss now! It's always hot, comforting, and cooked to order food at Lulu's. Ingredients are always fresh, servers friendly, efficient and quick. We're very satisfied customers ! There are just times we wanted to dine in but they close down the dining area due to minimal diners, but they always keep pick up, online orders open.

Hands down the best Chinese food I’ve ever had since China Town in SF. Bravo! Highly recommend this place! The only Chinese restaurant I’d eat at.

The duck was excellent!
Fried rice was exquisite!
Dim sum was the best!
Egg plant was to die for!

The best Chinese food I’ve ever had in my entire life. The staff were very friendly and the food came out quick. BBQ Pork buns and Salt and Pepper shrimp were the highlights. The bun was unbelievably fluffy and soft and the batter on the shrimp was otherworldly and seasoned perfectly. Do not pass this place up.

Lulu's on Manchester is a good local spot. They have a wide variety of dishes. The Dan Dan noodles are delicious and surprised me when I ordered them. If you are looking for a spicy dish, try the hot pepper chicken. It is lightly friend and tossed in Szechuan pepper.

Wonderful dim sum! We tried several things along with dinner. My partner had the beef stew. The broth flavor and cabbage was a delight. I had the beef and seafood platter. The garlic on the beef and the brown sauce had great flavor. But our favorites were the soup dumplings, cucumbers in vinegar, the seaweed, and the pork/ shrimp shumai! I wish they would have served red vinegar with the dumplings, but they were delicious without. We will definitely be going back again! And we had lots of leftovers for dinner and lunch the next few days!

Good food quality and moderate service here at Lulu’s. It is very rare to have dim sum in Missouri. Will be back in a few weeks

This Chinese restaurant was one of the best Chinese food I will never forget ever!!! Most of all the wonton soup which I remember by making it at culinary arts school brings me back in the old days. I usually add carrots to bring the sweet and salty in the soup. Once again, I will come back an have an good wonton soup if its too chilly outside. Thank you LuLu Chinese & Dim Sum.

Delicious authentic Chinese restaurant. My food was served quickly and delicious. Very generous portions and friendly service.

I come here for the dim sum, but dine in. I’m shocked to see all the bad reviews, but after reading them, they’re all related to a delivery service, not the restaurant, making them very misleading. We were the only ones seated for a meal, so we could hear everything, and there must have been 25-30 orders picked up from door dash, umber eats, or grub hub in the mere 45 minutes of us dining. Of those, 2 large orders canceled after they had already made the food and were waiting for it to be picked up. I felt for the owner, who was on the phone trying to resolve it, but lost so much to the canceled orders. Those services who charge 20% plus the delivery takes awhile are really making people miss out on hot fresh food. Go for dine in, or get take out directly from them, the food is really great (especially when it’s hot).

The food here was so much better than any other Chinese food I've ever had! The soup dumplings were OMG :) and the orange chicken was actually still crispy instead of the normal soggy other places have! I recommend them 110%!

We have been here three times now and have tried perhaps 12 dishes, since it's the kind of place where you happily order several different things and share (and end up with delicious, delicious leftovers). Each dish has been great. It is not cheap, but it's also not crazy expensive, given how large the portions are and how good it is. The one thing we have ordered every time is the crispy eggplant--amazing! Admittedly, the service has been a bit slow two of the three times we have been there (minimal staff on weeknights and a decent flow of take-out business), but the food has been so good it will not deter us from returning. You may need to flag a server over when you're ready for something.

Great crab Rangoon, great entree. Service is speedy and effiecent. Great place to eat Chinese food!
