What an absolute gem in LA if you want an authentic Hong Kong cafe experience.
It felt very homey inside and eccentric with a lot of different places to sit. It was busy when I went and must be a local favorite spot, as a large gaggle of Chinese women laughed and enjoyed themselves inside which added to energy of the spot.
I sat outside and we got a Croissant sandwich with Turkey and Egg. A lavender latte and a Mocha Cappuccino.
The croissant sandwich was tasty, fresh, and crispy. Highly recommend! The lavender latte was a little too sweet for me but was decent.
Customer service was great and friendly!
Would come back again, there’s parking in the back with a small back patio along with an adorable local cat that sleeps there. Overall I’m happy to have found this spot and will definitely come back!

Such a relaxing, lived-in, homey Hong Kong coffee shop. The owner asked me about my coffee tastes, recommended a fruity Ethiopian medium roast pour over, talked about the tradeoffs of siphoned coffee, French press, etc, and recommended his freshly baked croissants as particularly good today. Soothing classical guitar music, endearing hand-written signs, and idiosyncrasies of the owners as decor are all such a stark and lovely contrast to the sterile and corporate coffee shops everywhere in LA. If you want something different than that, try Fresh Roast on San Gabriel.

A rare place to find Durian flavored coffee and many other durian flavored food items. Service was quick and the coffee was good. The interior feels cozy which makes it a nice place to sit and enjoy coffee.

Rating 5 stars because I spent about 2 hours here while waiting for my car to be serviced down the street. The owner was so kind he says good morning to each customer walking in, gave me time to look at the menu and made sure he was ready the moment I was ready to order. Made very small town vibe conversation with all the customers! I was definitely sweating or looking like I was about to walking in, but he recommended i sit at a specific table because its cooler so I would cool down - so thoughtful!

The place itself is quirky in that the atmosphere is so cafe and Chinese corner store at the same time. Ample seating inside and out and he was so nice to turn on the fan by my table.

The food came quickly and it's good! Very homey as some other reviews have said. They have so many fun options of drinks and food to get, but I was tired so I got a coffee milkshake and a turkey bagel sandwich.

Quick and it is a hidden gem coffee shop in sgv with snacks, sweet and savory options. Their Asian style egg waffle is the best with many options for fillings. Their coffee is on a stronger side. They are Vietnamese and French style. The latte has flavorful tropical favors like pandan, ube or coconut, etc.

Jimmy, the owner, is an expert coffee man! He was so helpful to us and made great suggestions and drinks. His shop is a great place to kickback and enjoy your b’fast.
We really enjoyed the croissant b’fast sandwich, pandan coffee, viet coffee, the rainbow Hong Kong waffle, and taho (soft tofu) . Everything was made well and tasty!

This is exactly the kind of coffee shop I live for.
Its funky feeling makes me feel at home.
Lots of great coffee and tea options and perfect nooks to sit in to work or hang out with friends.
They have milk tea, egg coffees, durian lattes etc!
Truly something for everyone.

Extremely cozy space with classic HK specials in a cafe form where you can also sit and do work! This is so special. I got the Portuguese egg tart and Hong Kong milk tea (iced). I’m from Hong Kong and can attest - this is legit! Felt like I was back home. The owner was also very sweet and offered to heat up a sample egg tart for me!!

Had a wonderful time here with loved ones. This place has been open for over 22 years and not only does it have good coffee & food, it has character. Sit on the outside patio surrounded by beautiful greenery. Or come inside where you will be surrounded by art, trinkets, books, funny signs and what I liked to think of a museum of their old used coffee equipment which was just a cabinet with interesting coffee equipment. The owner was very kind and welcoming. They also have wifi available for use. I will definetly be back again.

Excellent and comfortable place to hang out, talk, work on your laptop, drink some tea, coffee, milkshake, or other drinks. Small eats like sandwiches, chicken wings, french fries and, cha shu bun. I had a red bean bun, it was excellent. Prices are surprisingly reasonable. There's also outside tables in the front. Will visit again.

Strong strong coffee and Americano. Lots of seating and variety of food from Taiwanese, Vietnamese to regular American cafe. $5minimum spend to use credit card with charge of $0.50 if it is under $15. Good for working on laptop, studying with outlets inside. Free limited parking lot. Super nice mom pop shop -- speak English and Mandarin.

Popcorn chicken is more like a meal, larger chunks compare to tiny ones at Taiwanese cafe.

First time back in several years but the proprietor still has a memory an elephant would envy. And, despite COVID the experience is truly wonderful.
Was just going to savor a wonderful cup of coffee but the aromas enticed me to get an order of Hong Kong Egg Waffle as well.

A small place with numerous fresh roasted coffees options. I have passed by this place many times until I saw a review on Yelp about their pandan Mochi waffle.

Stopped by here today to try out their famous pandan Mochi Waffle. When we walked in, greeting us were at 15 coffee grinding machines at the door. Whatever flavors or types of coffee you want they can make it fresh from your favorite coffees beans.

Since we don’t drink coffee, we wanted to try their pandan coconut milk tea and their famous pandan mochi waffle. After the first bite, we immediate got why people flood here from all over to get the waffle. Unlike other cafes, this place make a perfect pandan mochi waffle. The waffle was very crispy and the mochi inside was so soft and chewy. The flavor from the pandan leaves made this waffle so tasty. Now I am a fan of their pandan mochi waffle.

Now for the pandan coconut milk tea, it’s a perfect drink for those people who love HK milk tea but are sensitive to dairy products. With the combination of coconut milk and pandan, the milk tea drink is like a drink make in heaven. I love the flavor. The owner told us that people would drive all the way from New Port Beach to come just to pick up this drink.

The restaurant does offer food, but we didn’t really see any people eating inside. So we can’t really comment on the foods.

Stopped by for a grab and go coffee and breakfast this morning. It was our first time here, and the staff was so welcoming, friendly and efficient. Our group enjoyed the pandan coffees, Hanoi egg coffee, bubble waffle, fresh baked croissant and egg tarts. All of this came fairly efficiently, and was very tasty.

There are good menu selection of hot or iced coffees, HK milk tea, bubble tea, Vietnamese coffee, cold drinks and breakfast/ lunch options. Milk alternatives (almond, soy milk) and indoor seating are available.

My boyfriend and I live in LA but we always make a point to come here if we’re in the area. The owner, Jimmy, is very knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend the iced pandan coffee and custard bubble waffle. It’s not Starbucks, so you won’t get your coffee instantaneously, but good coffee takes time. If you’re really in a hurry though, you can call and order ahead.

This is a family friendly place. Delicious food prepared fresh as you order. Their menu is amazing. My daughter and I stopped there for breakfast and it was very tasty. The place is clean well lit and it has plenty of tables inside and out in the front. I'm not sure if the have parking in the back but there was parking available on the main Street.

Great place. Nice and cozy family operated coffeeshop. Family friendly, has an old times feeling. Great sandwiches , coffees, and breakfast. I'm happy they're up and running during this pandemic. Kudos to you!!! Jus remember it's pretty much on the cor er of Broadway and San Gabriel so early morning traffic is bad, it would be better to park in the back than on the street.

If they show up to do your service you will be extremely satisfied. I also want to mention our Logan sales rep tech Buysman . He was very helpful and never made us feel pressured during our time together.

I’ve been to many coffee shops and this one is especially welcoming & homey. They have Unique flavors that’s hard to find, I got the pandan coffee (a type of green plant ) for the first time and it’s really good with a hint of coconut flavor. MUST TRY !
