Lucinda Garcia Park

What a great park! There are two play structures in separate gated circles - one for bigger kids and one for younger kids. The equipment and grounds are clean and well-maintained. There are also adult exercise installations around the park. No public restroom.

I used to live in the area from 1997 until 2010. During that time used to take my daughter to this park regularly right after we moved there until my daughter was 10 years old. At the time it was called Olive Park. It was kind of run down then. Since then the park was renamed Lucinda Garcia Park. Which waa named after my Great Grandmother. I think it was dedicated to her in 2017. I'm not sure about the year. Well the city of Monrovia remolded the park & rededicated the park in her honor a few months ago. The two play areas are new. The park is much nicer now & its a beautiful park.

A nice little shade covered park with newly installed playground for the kiddos and some workout stuff for whoever. 1/3 mile loop path of you're into running in circles. Some tables and benches available as well.

Well designed little urban space - 1/3 mile loop, a bonus little garden area on the west end, two playgrounds for the littles and littlers. I wish the five exercise stations appealed to me more, but there's only so much one can plan for I guess. Also has a water fountain and bike repair station. No restrooms

The park was just renovated with new play ground sets. I love that there’s a fence around the playgrounds so kids don’t just run out towards the streets. There’s plenty of trees to give shade as well as benches and picnic tables if you want to stay awhile.

I was there for the city's Grand reopening of Lucinda Garcia Park. I represented Monrovia Changemakers as she is in our book as one of the Changemakers in Monrovia.

A good place 2 take the kids 2 park u even can walk ur dog just have ur dog on leash & pick after them but there is no bathroom the city should build a bathroom and the park is nice an clean or u can take a walk around the park

It's an interesting park in that it's in the middle of the road and on both sides the traffic can go both ways. I'd think it'd have one way street to keep residents and park goer safer

Park is always clean and well maintained. Lots of shade trees 🌲

Cute little park. My niece loves it. Also a great place for me to run laps when working out.

Small park to walk your dog. The have a few BBQ pits also and a playground for toddlers
