Max's Mexican Cuisine

We really enjoyed our time here! We came on a Friday night and called ahead since there were 14 of us. After a long day of hiking, we really needed a big meal and this restaurant was perfect! Service was outstanding. The food was delicious!

I had an enchilada and hubby had a chimichanga, both were excellent. The atmosphere was fun and lively. We sang happy birthday 3 or 4 times. The owner came out and welcomed us. It was one of the friendliest dining experiences I’ve had in a long time.

Great place to have a family gathering. Staff is very welcoming. Will definitely come here again for dinner and drinks.

Food here is always good with big portions and good prices. The aqua frescas are large with free refills. They have a large menu but not too big and tons of drinks options. They have tables to fit large parties and an upstairs area that could be used for a dinner party. They also have a bar behind the restaurant seating area and an entrance from the rear of the building.

Everything was the best that I've had in a very long time! Totally recommend this place! Free parking out back as well. We will be going here again. 👍🏾

Quick efficient service with a smile! And the DELICIOUS food speaks for itself😋. I first ate there 11 years ago with a group of fellow Doctorate Nursing students along with our Professor. Been returning ever since☺.

An incredible amount of food for $10.50! And the surprise was it was excellent.

It started with a generous bowl of tortilla chips. The perfect size for dipping and they were nice and crunchy and not oily. Then a large ramekin of freshly chopped onion and tomatoes in a rich red salsa. Had a little heat and full of flavor.

Then my medium bowl of Pozole sopa full of chicken. On the side two warm flour tortilla and a cold plate full of chopped lettuce, radishes and limes. Then a tray of more garnishes for the soup. Cilantro, pepper flakes and chopped onions.

All of the hot things were served hot; all of the cold things were served cold; and everything was loaded with flavor.

I don't know how they do it at this price but I'm sure happy they do.

I came back after a few years, and everything is exactly the same as it was. Exceptional service and food at reasonable prices. If you haven’t tried it yet you’re missing out on the best Mexican restaurant in the SGV.

I enjoy going to Max's Mexican Cuisine. Max has always made my daughter and I feel at home, every time we've gone there. He always asks with such enthusiasm and a wonderful smile,"Where have you been?"

Every time I visit home I make it to Max's at least once. The food is great. The atmosphere is awesome. They are all so inviting and make you feel like family. Max is great. He greets everyone.

I love this place! I took my Dad here for the first time and now he loves it too. Only thing is, I wish they stayed open longer than 10pm because come 9:20pm, they're ready to toss you out. That said, take your food order to go or don't order to much after 9pm. They have a bar in the back, too.

Great atmosphere. Great location. Friendly staff. The Cadillac margarita is legit, and the food is probably the best Mexican food I have had in a long time. I’m visiting from Seattle. Seattle has a (surprisingly) large Mexican population but I think this restaurant near LA wins hands down. Recommended. All the stars.

Bar area is awesome so are the Bar tenders. Fast friendly service no waiting around. You'll love this place.

Very attentive staff . They kept passing to make sure we had ordered or if we needed anything else. Food was also very good.

I love their food... Always fresh, hot and full of flavor. Portions are big, you'll always have leftovers. Prices just about what I believe is reasonably.The drinks are spot on and get the job done.

Love this place. Authentic Mexican food. The food and aguas frescas are really great. Cocktails and specialty drinks are really good. Plenty of parking in the front and back of restuarant. Friendly staff that grets you as soon as you walk in.

Friendly, prompt, service, waitress, bus boy. Fresh, good. Ordered, nopales, eggs, rice, beans. Good coffee, they refilled my cup, & kept it warm

The food was delicious and the staff was friendly. If I'm ever in the area again, will most definitely stop by.

Max’s has some pretty good food and informative staff. Would come again!
