Julian Fisher Park

Really nice little park with 3 full basketball courts , water fountain and a restroom... Nice playground for the kiddos... Very well kept grounds , all hoops have nets and the courts won't tear up your ball ... They bring the adult day center people here to shoot hoops and play on the equipment which is cool but the best part of that is the chick that brings them !!! My jaw fell off !!! I had to play it cool , pick it up and slide it in my pocket so nobody would notice then keep shooting around with no jaw

We drove-by by chance and my dog enjoy the early morning dew and clean air. It was very clean so we might just visit again.

Great remodelling work. Has one bathroom with hand sanitizer dispenser inside and a sink to rise your hands outside. New basketball courts and walk path. Also new tables and benches. Feels more welcoming with the new improvements in the city. I been going here since I was a kid.

Nice park, pleanty of grass and slides for the kids. There is also a nice pathway for bikes and such, a clean bathroom also basketball courts. The floor where the kids play is cushioned. Monrovia does good once again!

It's a really nice park! It's not to big but it has three basketball courts and a playground for kids. The park is clean and safe :)

This Park it's dedicated to my grandfather Julian Fisher I come to Monrovia periodically just to come and see it I love the fact that they've majorly updated a lot of the features and the park since it was first dedicated it's fun to see how much the people are enjoying this park since it was first dedicated I will keep coming to the spark in the years to come and bring my grandchildren here to see what their great-grandfather had accomplished in his life and to see what Monrovia has to offer maybe five generations down the line we will still have Julian fishers grandchildren great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren here

Those new bathrooms should be EVERYWHERE.
Clean, efficient, SAFE.....good job Monrovia....now, put them in our other parks...they just make sense. As they allow privacy but no illegal behaviors, and can be easily clean /power washed out. No paper hand towels needed, soap and water effective as the unit is outdoor of the bathroom.
Really clean park, and felt safe even later in evening....great water sensible plants with description of them on plaques.

Wow this place was originally dedicated to my grandfather in 1980 it's been a part of my family's life for so long every time I come to town I come by here I look at it and it reminds me so much of what my grandfather was and what my family stood for Monrovia and what will continue to contribute to Monrovia if you are a monrovian you should come by and see this park it stands for what Julian Fisher was and what the Fisher family has always contributed to in Monrovia the Fisher family had been a part of Monrovia since the early 1900s and the Fisher family still lives in Monrovia now Julian Fisher daughter Vivian Fisher and his son William Fisher are still alive and present and come to Monrovia and is often as I can there are a ton of grandchildren great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren at this time we believe there are 6 Generations a Fisher family around but it could be 7 but if you go by the spark you will see what my grandfather stood for here is a picture of him and what he done for the community swing by the park have fun playing play basketball and just have a blast there I'll see you there soon

The park is very clean, lots of trees and shade, picnic tables, playground is clean. My grandkids love it. It has a basketball court.

Wonderful park a bit small but very clean basketball courts small play area for kids a bathroom (metal stall with toilet) and one covered area

The remodel is excellent! That's deserving of the name of our first black policeman. Now it's looking as prestigious as the importance and memory of Julian fishing to this great community.

We went to this park a while back we're doing the renovations we went today after and it looks great the redo or renovations look beautiful and the park was very well lit up at 8:30 at night it's cute for the community and area

One day driving tru..came a cross with the park...my family i love to drive thru Duarte, Monrrovia..Azusa..very nice cities..
