Promenade at Downey

This theatre is very nice and open. I went here to go see Captain Marvel a few weeks ago during the matinee showing. As I had just had breakfast at Ruby's I didn't get any snacks. But I did look around a bit and I liked how organized the place is. Their theatre, building and restrooms were also nice and clean.

I went to Benihana's at the Promenade in Downey. The wait wasn't bad at all. We were there to celebrate my nephew's birthday 🎂 and what started out as a group of six grew to a group of 14 while we were waiting for service. Of course since we weren't all originally together we were seated in two different areas. Just by coincidence two tables had just finished and we asked if we could use those two tables. This is when we found out that a manager with care, concern and compassion can make an alright last minute birthday plan turn into a Awesome 👌 BIRTHDAY DINNER. My nephew was overjoyed because he had came in town from San Diego and my other relatives had just come in from Texas. The manager's name is Lathan Bryant. She is an asset to the Benihana Restaurant Corporation. I will return to that restaurant again. As the Chef's presentation and the food was 👍 great. Thank you, Ms. Lathan Bryant.

This place has really grown and transformed over the past two years!! I am amazed at the growth and the stores here. There is a super huge selection of stores. Everything you need is here from the gym to the movies to restaurants to clothing to home needs.

They are still building. This will be one of the biggest shopping centers in the area.

Plenty of parking here. A super great location!

Great place to come . This new shopping center has great stores , restaurants and a great theater. There’s also a gym and adjacent to Downy Landing shopping Center .

Great place to spend a day and an evening.
Plenty of restaurants to choose from and more. I tried this restaurant and the food was extraordinary full of flavors.

The Olive was the best place to visit.

Love that there are so many stores in one place. Everything is always clean and tidy. There is always security driving around the plaza. I love that. The cinemark here is nice and there is always people, but in a good way. They have a cute sitting area out front of the theater. Cool to eat ice cream and hang out with friends or family

I enjoy the comfortable seats, The snack bar has a lot of good food & snacks. But I think the manager needs to know the California State Law on Service dog's. I was approached by a employee and manager asking me is it a service dog ( she had on the service jacket and ID on her jacket, then she asked me what's wrong with me, why do I need the 🐕! I watched movie with my daughter because we wanted to see movie, but I will never go back.

I Love this shopping center. I like the parking lot as a lot of shopping centers the parking lots are hard and difficult sometimes dangerous to navigate. I like the fact that this Stopping Center is wide open. I like the stores that are there. I'm so happy they put in this Shopping Center! It's so much closer to me than any other Shopping Center. So far I haven't had any problems with any of the merchants. I've eaten at a couple of the restaurants there at the center, excuse me the Promenade. Hitting to the Promenade is easy for me to because I can take side streets to get there and don't have to take the main highways. Yes I'll be doing a lot of shopping at the Downey Promenade. If you haven't been there yet you should check out all the different stores they have. Google it if you need to!

That place has everything, good food, great merchandise and clothing with kaiser right next door incase you have a medical emergency. You easily be there for hours shopping, go and enjoy your self.

nice shopping area has options in a outdoor setting. love the 5 below they always have fun stuff to look at and buy. outside the movies is the nicest spot to sit and just relax. The food choices/establishments are good and there are options.

Nice big location with many businesses around here. I love coming here. I never leave unsatisfactory in my ratings. There is food, entertainment and a gym nearby. Downey definitely is doing something right with providing options to its residents versus other location cities past Downey. I enjoy commuting here form 30 mins away just to do my shopping needs when I need them done versus my City options.

Clean and brand new shopping centers with variety of restaurants for lunch and dinner.
The park lots have a lot zigzag and stop signs, maybe it is designed this way to prevent people driving too fast.

Best 24 hr fitness around. Built (I think) only 4 years ago. Olympic Pool, Basketball court, sauna room, loads of free weights, lots of fitness machines for core workouts, good assortment of med balls from air, to 40 lbs, showers & towel service, lots more.
Anybody getting back to the gym, a Trainer is well worth it. They have good deals from 6 - 12 sessions for a decent price, enough to get anybody kick-started to be on their own.
