Dorothy Green Park

This park is great for kids of all ages. There are small slides to accommodate toddlers and bigger slides for your more coordinated kids. There is one set of swings for small babies and another set of traditional swings for everyone else. A small rock climbing wall is fun to teach your kids how to climb. The center playground is covered by shade which is nice on hot days.

Peak times are usually from 8am to about 12pm and then there is hardly anyone between 12-2pm after two there is an little after school rush of kids but not as bad as the morning.

Another great thing about this park is that it's so close to the beach. So you can walk to it before or after going to the playground.

A great summer day with friends at the beach. Make sure to get there early because all of LA is using the same parking lot. Also limited parking in the neighborhood.

Dorothy green park is a wonderful green oasis. Not only for the grassy areas but there are bike rentals and a Perry's right there. We even got to see them shoot a episode of millie here.

There was so much parking on a cloudy Sunday. Free parking for handicap but $15 for a day. Close to the pier...just a 7 minutr walk. You can rent bikes on either side of the park. There's a cute cafe with sand and beach chairs set up to enjoy your snacks. They closed up early with the rain. The bathroom werent that bad but no place to dry your hands and no soap. So pack some wipes or sanitizer. The toilet was nice and soft though. A playground for little ones is also close by. Theres a few benches for eating and watching life at the beach.

Wonderful beach with fabulous sea gulls and pigeons. Of course , one encounters loud music and even live music from new musicians.

Nice park. You can walk down to it after parking above near 4th street. Beach is super accessible and there's a cafe.

Well taken care of park, clean, bike rentals available, dogs welcome, ped/bikes trails, friendly people. Come relax and enjoy the breathtaking sunsets!!

This is one of my favorite places to catch a beautiful California sunset. Always clean and quiet.

We were in town visiting and had spent a lot of time in the car, so we stopped here for a stretch break. Our toddler loved the little playground! I appreciate the fact that it was fully fenced in and covered. We also enjoyed walking around a bit - great place for people watching!

I love all these little parks around this area. However, bicycles are often stolen in this area and there are a lot of wanderers taking breaks at the park - sleeping, hanging out.

There are also a lot of activities happening all around. So it's never really quiet.

Pleasant place to walk and see the skaters

NOTE: There is a $12 flat rate all day lot and a $1/hr lot. If you're playing volleyball, HIGHLY recommend either paying $12 or buying something crazy like 6 hours. Once you get here you're going to be like, "oh, I can play one more game" or "Venice is just a ten minute walk away." Don't ruin your day by trying to save a couple bucks.

That is a wonderful park to take your kids it is safe because it's gated small enough where you can see everyone perfect for toddlers great location because you can see the beach and it's a restaurant right next to it if you get hungry for lunch nested in between Venice and Santa Monica for a good walk or ride your bike
