Idk if I spelled her name right. But anyway, I was on my way to the fwy to head out to Palm Springs and I searched up “bakery” right quick on Google Maps. And this spot had multiple reviews about ppl raving about their “tres leches” cake. That’s a cake that’s really easy to miss. Super hard to get right. And regardless, if it sucks, I’m still coming back because of their customer service. Mitra was everywhere !!! Connie was working on sumn in the back but swore she was too busy to help write the name on the cake. I don’t like how she said “hang on, I gotta wash my hands” yet never showed up. I’d like to see Connie wholeheartedly help every person indiv like Mitra did. Well some other sweet lady gladly hopped in and helped her as soon as the sandwiches she was fixing up were done. She also hopped in and charged a couple, While Mitra was helping me and 3 others all at the same time.

You want to feel cared about ? Attended thoroughly ? Hopefully u show up on a day where Mitra’s clocked in. She gave me owner vibes. She just cares ! Also grabbed me my jalapeño bolillo for me. Can u say she had a heart to serve ? She blew me awayy. She also asked a guy if he needed tongs or a tray for his bread, all while attending me !!!! Sheshhh. NOBODY goes unnoticed w Mitra and her other sweet coworker. Thanks ladies !!

El Molino Bakery is an absolute MUST TRY. I am obsessed for years now. Every birthday I get a HUGE Tres Leche cake for my birthday show. Delicious and honestly if you take one of these cakes to an event you will be getting kudos forever. I always get messages asking where my cake came from. If you love fresh bolios, pastries, cookies, all things baked, then you need to make a stop. This family has been here forever practically. You won't get out with one item lol Fair Warning.
They do cakes for all occasions amd they are a specialty bakery in my opinion when it come to authentic and delicious Mexican pastries. You can grab a tray and with tongs pick your own. Now due to covid them may get them for you. Clean shop and friendly helpful staff. Sometimes there is a line but it moves FAST. STAY SAFE people and have a beautiful day!! Enjoy some sweet treats. I order a tres leches cake for my son's bday one day before his bday party hot wheels theme. So I've been trying different places because the other 3 leches cakes from different bakeries always very dry. Well not this one to my surprise the cake was very very moist top to bottom layer, delicious not like other places that you only get the bottom layer thats sort of wet not really. I will definitely come back for my other special day 3 leches cake I'm very happy I found this bakery.

The owners are great people!! I've been there with my little nephew, and he given him a ice cream on the house, and Eben went there before when he already closed, and locked up, but saw me, and opened up and let me get a few things!! The 3res Leches cakes are amazing😍😍

These folks are the best. I had my promotion party cake for 50 people done in less than in an hour. It was a tres leches cake and everyone loved it at work. Super affordable and saved my procrastinating self. Would recommend to anyone!

I been coming here for years ever since I was 14 years old. I love their bread, all the pan dulce is amazing specially the Conchitas and Bolillo bread. Honestly no other place has better Conchitas and Bolillo bread than this place. I moved to Downey now and I still drive to the City of Lawndale if I'm craving some pan dulce or bolillos.

We got the Tres Leches cake for a friend's birthday. It was so good that we had to return to get another one on my own birthday a couple weeks later. Everyone asks, "where'd you get the cake?"
