Chandni is closed??????? Oh no!!!! We love Chandni! Chandni has been our family's favorite vegetarian restaurant. Every dish we have had is always fresh and delicious (dine-in). Heartbroken. Please let me know if you are opening at a new location.

I was unaware Chandni was vegetarian when I walked by and contemplated leaving instead of ordering as I’m about as close to a carnivore as you can be. I’m sure glad I didn’t. The food and service were excellent. We will definitely be returning.

At first, my family and I were hesitant about visiting this place, but we ultimately decided to give it a try. And boy, were we glad we did! Our orders of #31, #37, and #44 were all amazing. The lentils and mushroom dish, in particular, were absolutely delicious. In addition to the great food, our waitress was both friendly and funny, making our experience even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this restaurant!

Great food and excellent service. Out of every restaurant I've ate across the world this is by far one of the best. After a tiring day I wanted to have a wholesome meal and I chose this restaurant and it was the best decision I made.

Best Vegetarian Food In LA. Tastes like homemade! Their lunch Buffet is epic ! They bless the food! You can feel the love! Great chill & quiet atmosphere! Sometimes they have Indian Mantras playing in the background. This place is so magical . One of the best Gems of Santa Monica.

Came here for dinner and the food was fantastic and very flavorful. The service was amazing - very kind staff. They’re a locally owned spot that’s been here for over 30 years and I see why!

The food here is fantastic and the service is very good. When you get the impression that staff care about the experience you have I believe it’s because that’s how they truly feel.

The decor is dated, but don’t let that put you off! It’s part of the charm and the food is so good that it is irrelevant anyway.

Great hole in the wall. Excellent vegetarian Indian food. Very affordable. Ask your waiter Mahesh to tell you a joke. As a person of Indian descent my standards are very high and this place meets then. I cannot understand any of the less than perfect reviews.

Chandni has been a favorite restaurant ever since I moved to their neighborhood many years ago. I'm an omnivore, and truly appreciate great vegetarian food. I love spicy food, and choose very hot spices when I'm with others who like the heat. I also enjoy their mild and medium levels of spice. The food is flavorful in ways that don't require heat that some find painful. The staff are all great and it's a welcoming place.

I'm very sad to say Chandni is closing today after 30 years

This is one of my favorite Indian restaurants in LA. The food is all vegetarian, but is nonetheless very flavorful and is cooked to order mild, medium or spicy. The curries are excellent, naan is fresh and the samosa is very good as well.

The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and courteous and the interior of this place is a very interesting, classic style. This restaurant is quite well-priced, especially considering it's located in Santa Monica. Free parking in the back.

I had a delicious lunch buffet. The service is kind and humane. Will come back regularly.

Delicious meal and excellent value. If you're looking for Indian food that's well prepared, give this place a try. Had the matar paneer which was tasty, along with the garlic naan and rice. Service was fast and the portions were generous. I also asked for mild which they did a good job with while still making sure the food was flavorful. Would recommend.

This is our favorite Indian food in L.A.!!! It's so good! We drive from North Hollywood to eat here. The service is excellent and you can tell that they really care about the food they serve.

They also give back to the community, which is rare to see these days!

Loved the food. Perfect spice level for people who can't eat spicy food. Great indoor dining setup,friendly staff. Ad they do check if you're vaccinated or not.
