Frogs Organic Bakery

I stumbled upon this bakery because I was tired of donuts and wanted something different. The Lady at the counter was very nice and answered my questions. I had the mocha croissant, the Madeline and apricot and strawberry little jam containers. The croissant comes pretty close to the ones in France. The croissant was very flaky and tasty. I’m glad I stumbled across it and it brings back memories of France.

Stumbled unto this bakery about a week ago. After my favorite croissant outlet closed due to covid, this was a welcome addition and became my new go-to for French pastry. The lady at the counter was very nice and welcoming, especially after I told her it was my first time. I haven't had the chance to try their entire menu yet, but I am glad to find a new spot to spoil my family for the weekly pastry. So far, I have their plain, alomonds, and chocolate croissants. These were good enough for me to go back for more.

Wow, we wanted to buy one of everything! We learned about this bakery at a farmer's market. Many more choices at this bakery than what was offered at the market. The chocolate almond paste croissant was amazing and a MUST try. This is a take-away place. Some table seating is offered outdoors.

Thank youuuu! I moved to Pasadena recently and have been trying in vain to find a good quality croissant and came across Frogs at the South Pasadena Farmers Market. Nice to know I can come find you all on Thursdays!

Good quality laminated dough / Viennoiserie where it is flaky and crispy outside and a bit more tender while not being flat and bland or soggy on the interior!

Delicious vegan croissants! And I am from NYC and have had many. Thank you for having the vegan option- so good!!! And affordable!

Greatest bakery in the South Bay. Dedicated regular. Liza and company bake with love. You can taste the difference.

favorite place !! I don’t even want to share it because I dont want my favorite croissants to be eaten and they already sell out quick ! But it’s too delicious and too good to be any left over.

I am very impressed! This literally has to be the best bakery I have ever been to. I have only tried the chocolate croissant from Starbucks, and let me tell you, they taste nothing as good like frogs bakery, the chocolate the crispness the taste!! This has to be the best CHOCOLATE CROISSANT I have ever tried!!!! They also have an Almond Chocolate Croissant and it’s definitely delicious!! And it’s all organic!!! The customer service is amazing! Super friendly! Great quality! I got chocolate chip cookies as well and omgggg they were extremely fresh and way better than store bought for sure!! Their Ice coffee was very delicious as well! Literally everything I got was way better than expected and I won’t ever get my pastries anywhere else because these are the real deal!!! I tried the mocha croissant it was very delicious!!! Their regular croissants too just mouthwatering ❤❤❤! The last thing I tried from my variety of items was the praline turnover with pastry cream and it was not overly sweet but perfectly balanced sweetness! It was perfect and very delicious!! I promise you won’t be disappointed this place is my new favorite and I’m so happy I finally decided to try it out, before I would pass this place all the time and just wonder what kind of bakery this was. I finally looked online and decided to give it a try and I’m so thankful I did! This is truly a hidden Gem and all their items are very delicious and made fresh daily and are organic !!! Definitely my go to place from now on!!! I loved all the pastries and coffee that I bought from them!! Thank you!!! 😍

Great organic bakery. Has only one store front and the rest is sold at farmers markets. They have organic gluten free bread. Great pastry and coffee if you visit the bakery outlet in Gardena.

If you want their popular ham and cheese croissant you best show up early early because sometimes they run out by 8 am

Outstanding croissants and pastry— they taste as if you’d find them on a Parisian Street... So that’s really saying something! This is truly some of best pastry I’ve had in the US. Though there is no place to sit down inside and it’s a hole in the wall, the exceptional food quality makes up for it... I also love their organic emphasis. You won’t be disappointed!

Amazing baked products from quiches to breads. Made with organic flour, their Croissants are rich and flakey. Chocolate / Almond Marzipan filled croissants are the most prized by all. Just had their Apricot Custard croissant this morning. My new favorite.

Had their quiches on an earlier visit. Really lovely, light, perfectly baked.

If you go there, introduce yourself to Eliza. She is in the front of the house (usually on the weekends and on some week days). She knows her products and is great to work with if you need a recommendation or to place an order.

Tip- get there early, else you may not get the items that you want.
Be prepared to wait in the occasional line as they have a small counter/lobby.

As I need to see before I buy, I try to get there early. As I get familiar with their products, I will move to placing orders.

This is the Best French Bakery in all of the South Bay/ South L.A. Area.
Good Prices, Good Customer Service, and Most Importantly, WONDERFUL baked goods.

I Highly recommend the "Pain au Chocolat" (chocolate croissants), chocolate almond croissants, and anything else they have.

This place is a little hard to spot. But stick with it. If you want to find Gold you have to dig for it. The Neighborhood is not what you would expect for such a Magical Place. This is located in a little business park, mini mall thing, in a somewhat less than spectacular neighborhood.
But don't let the outside scare you.
You can park in the street, or they have a small parking lot.
You can eat your pastries, and drink your coffee there. They have a few tables and chairs outside.
But I Usually get it to go.

Definitely Check this place out. It's a hidden Gem.

Just had the almond and chocolate croissants this morning and they were delicious! Also bought some Rye Bread but haven't had a chance to try it yet. If you are planning to buy from here I would recomend calling in early to place your order so they will have it ready for you. Bon appetite!

Fantastic fresh pastries sold out of the back of the bakery. Don't come here for ambience, wifi, etc. Just pastries. I've tried the bread and it's okay but not on same level as the pastries. Frogs is one of my favorite things about Gardena. Support this great independent business
