Rose Hills Memorial Park Gate 11

Very Beautiful Final Resting Place in Whittier, California. Serene, calm, quiet Cemetery where my husband's Father is buried. Went to pay our respects to a friend's mother who passed away and the graveside burial service was quite lovely. I give this cemetery 5 Stars for sure!

They do good work, but not great.
They do just enough as a park to pass, but don't bother on going above and beyond to impress visitors or guests. Unfortunately the employees aren't motivated to try due to lack of pay. If you really take a look around you'll find buried name plates or stone markers everywhere, not to mention sunken Graves. This happens due to improper packing of the dirt when loved ones are buried. All markers should be at same level and exposed. They are not. And you would think for a place that's called Rose hills they're roses would be beautiful, taken care of, and everywhere but unfortunately that's not the case here. And it doesn't help that they allow so much trashy, 99cent decorations to be placed everywhere and stay for so long. It's ugly to see all that mess on what could be a beautiful park to visit loved ones. But what this place does have is beautiful views of the city around it. On a good day you can see long beach and los angeles from certain locations around the park. A Definite good reason to take a drive up their hills especially on a clear day after it rains.

I came today to bring flowers to my parents who are buried at Rose hills. What an absolute shocking disgrace, I couldn't even see their name plates on their graves filled with dirt and filth. I will contact an attorney to see if I can file a lawsuit. Disgraceful Rose hills disgraceful!!
