Amazing tuna sandwich, with hand made pita! Good pizza, hand made brick oven. Fresh ingredients, Srgt. Peppa. Spicy meatball pizza is really good too!!!. Freshly squeezed orange and great fruit juice. Great service and outdoor seating. Indoor is spacious and clean, beautiful. Highly recommended if near Monrovia! Sorry the last photo was the tuna sandwich, gone.

This place is amazing! The food was outstanding and service was great!! The Monrovian has gotten a completely new look and huge upgrade to the menu. I believe there is a new owner and it shows!!! I went for Sunday brunch and I was thoroughly impressed with the pork shoulder Tamale grits. It was so tasty and packed a lot of flavor. They use a white grit which has such a smooth silky texture. They also have a bakery now which looks amazing. My family already has plans for our next visit because there are so many delicious looking items we want to try.

The food was very flavorful!! Great service all around. And will definitely be bringing my doggos to chill and enjoy the space!!

Breakfast burrito is delicious especially with the green salsa! Great, subtle environment and the smell of toast and coffee. Nicely done with Old Fashion drink.

I've been here 3 times and each was great. Don't leave without some of the pastries from the front, they are all amazing. If they have english muffins or pesto babka get them. Today our vanilla lattes were perfect and service from Derek was superb. We had sitdown breakfast then each got pastries. I got a mini chocolate cake I'm excited to try. The halloween treats were many to choose from. I also got a cute cookie that says "amuck, amuck..."

This is a perfect croissant. I have also had their sourdough bread loaf and French baguette. All delicious! I haven't had anything else off of the regular menu but intend to. Check out the newly revamped Monrovian!

Delicious food, amazing service! They even brought out some extra bacon for our pups since we stopped here on our way back from a long hike. They brought out water bowls and bacon for our dogs!

The Monrovia underwent a remodel, and what a change. The restaurant feels more like a sit down experience with an open, friendly environment. Menu is not extensive but hits all the basics and delivers the flavor. A large pizza oven sits out in the open promising authentic pies and a great talking piece. Some of the staff is new but a few veterans are on the floor giving great service (shout out to Derrick). Gluten free options are available and it is right next to one of Monrovia's parking lots. We came for the brunch, we'll come back for the service and Saturday happy hour!

My husband was here as part of a work lunch two days before he brought me back because he was really impressed. The food is really good, but the customer service is fantastic. I rarely leave reviews, but all the servers were really helpful and quick - Michael the owner and pizza guy was especially welcoming. Also - the tiramisu - OUT. OF. THIS. WORLD.

Excellent food and high quality ingredients. The cuisine was top notch. The order did take a while to come out and they did forget to bring out an item. However they were courteous and made sure we were happy. I have to say the Margarita Pizza here is one of the best I've had and I have had Margarita Pizzas from around the world during my travels. It's shocking how perfect the sauce and crust are. I have cravings for this Margarita Pizza.

I am not from here, my hotel was near the restaurant and was just looking for some breakfast. I am not much of a breakfast person so I didn’t have high expectations. As I was looking at the menu many things caught my eyes I ordered the breakfast burrito and it was AMAZING! My boyfriend had also ordered a cinnamon roll from the bakery which I ate off of of course and that was also super good. If you’re in the area and are looking for something delicious this is your place!

This place is great. Staff is super friendly. There was small snafu with our order, but chef Michael graciously explained their cooking style. We will be back. I'mWould recommend this place 100%.

Fabulous atmosphere and if you ask for Derek you are always going to have A+ service! I'm not sure how he does it, he takes your order, serves and does the clean up of the tables! This guy is AMAZING!!! We have never had a bad meal here and we keep coming back to try new things!

After being told there was a 2 hour wait at a restaurant right up the street, my friend and I stumbled on The Monrovian. We were seated right away. That was already a plus. Their customer service is stellar. Every server was so pleasant and friendly. I really appreciated that they let us linger and have a proper catch up without rushing us out. The icing on the cake was the gluten free chocolate almond cake. 😋 I'd never before heard of such deliciousness. Every bite was so tasty. Brunch at the Monrovian was such a treat.

Food and service is amazing. My doggies LOVE the dog biscuits. I grabbed lemon blueberry scones, cheese danishes, and cheesecake for my coworkers. Last December, I got the most beautiful red velvet cake for Christmas. Their regular menu is also delicious! Coffee is Joan's and is the best!

Great Venue! Food was tasty, and they made certain the trays stayed full. Staff was attentive and personable. The room was perfect, starting with the separate entrance and elevator to the second floor. The catering manager/bartender/event coordinator IS AMAZING. Recommend you contact him for a fantastic experience!

Amazing service!! Loved the waitress. She was such a sweetheart. My whole table got their food first but she made sure the chef was on my food. Breakfast burritos were soo good I had to come back for seconds!

The new owners and staff are incredibly nice and the food is absolutely delicious. The quality and selection is great for breakfast and lunch and the bakery items are mouth watering.

They have a full bar with yummy cocktails. Definitely check them out!

We’re locals and had not been to The Monrovian since they had changed. We had a delicious lunch, chicken salad with cherries and cashews and my husband had a beef ragu. The bread roll is incredible! Will definitely come back for their pizza and the bakery looks wonderful too! The service was excellent too!
