Satu Thai Bistro

This tiny hole in the wall packs a huge flavor punch that left me daydreaming of my next visit (spoiler alert: I keep coming back every week). The orange chicken was crispy and flavorful, and all of the curries are creamy perfection. If anyone goes to Thai restaurants for the Thai iced tea like I do, this one delivers a multi-note traditional flavor I love.

Best Thai in the SGV - no doubt. This place has a great menu, with great prices and even greater flavor. You can’t go wrong with whatever you order, but my favorites are still
1. 3 flavor Fish - amazing crisp and crunch, with a wonderful sweet marmalade over the top
2. Any of their soups, Tom Kha is favorite for sure
3. Pad Sew - amazing flavor with fresh ingredients. Classic recipe
Honorable mention - Larb Salad, always a great choice for someone looking for a lighter dish, but packed with freshness and flavor

First time here and I’m amazed by how delicious the food are. It’s a hole in the wall small place and the best Thai food I have. It’s super authentic. I recommended the chef’s choice BBQ chicken and pad thai.

Tasty food and great service.
The inside is a little small, but we were luckily the only ones eating in. The service was top notch, friendly, helpful, prompt, we even got free little ice creams for dessert!
Would come again, and will definitely be doing takeout in the near future.

Nice casual spot. I usually get takeout here at least once a month, but I've dined in a few times. Service is good, food comes out fast (they must use A LOT of heat when cooking), and it's great - better than the other Thai places nearby. Good portion sizes and great taste/textures. I usually get the spicy basil eggplant tofu, but everything else I've tried has been great. My wife has been getting the Panang Curry lately. Definitely recommend this place.

Out of the way, small and friendly. We stopped for lunch and were pleased to find a family run, authentic Thai experience. This place is not big, 8 tables inside and 4 tables on a small patio. Very casual. Not too noisy. I was also impressed when I peaked into the kitchen noting at all staff wore caps and masks for food safety.

We had the Spicy Basil with Thai Chili and the Black Pepper Garlic entrees, with the Spring Roll appetizer. All delicious!

My favorite is Three flavor fish, comes with sweet Chilli sauce. Seafood fried rice and tofu dish(vegan). Fast and friendly service and a cozy place.

What can I say that I haven’t already. Stellar food and better service. From pick up, delivery and dine in. Always great. This time was pick up and the food and service was just as good as always. My GF and i prefer different spice levels and she doesn’t like onions, scallions or tomatoes so we are always customizing our orders. What impressed me is they have never messed up an order. We’ve even gone to two different spice level for the salad dressing and they always accommodate.

As for the food this trip, it was delicious. It’s been a month or so since our last trip due to the pandemic, so the food just tasted even better than we remember. Will have to make sure not to wait so long before the next trip.

One of the best Thai places I have ever been too. Flavors are amazing and service impeccable. Go to dishes are the spicy Beef Salad and Penang Curry, but have tried many others and all were great. Only mistake I’ve ever made was to order items spicy which is something they take serious. I’ve had to adjust to Med Spicy which is perfect for most and then can kick it up when needed with their spicy sauces. The one with green chiles is fire. When you dine in, they also give you a small serving of ice cream which always hits the spot.

Some of the best Thai food I've ever had! Large portions beautifully presented with warm, friendly service. Great value. I drove a long way to eat there and will do it again.

Delicious Thai food in the SGV. It’s clean and the food is fresh. The quantities are generous and the price is fair. They use fresh herbs from their garden. Definitely recommend.

Hello! This is one of my favorite spots to go out and eat. It's a comfortable and intimate environment. Recently, it has come to my attention that YELP is charging them an obscene amount of money and it's hitting them hard. Please, please just go try it out. It's the best Thai food I have ever had. The owners are always there and once you go often enough. Please help them out.

I love the fried rice with chicken, the chicken satay, roti curry, the grilled chicken and the pad see ew. Cannot recommend this place enough. The fried rice is the best I've ever had, anywhere and my SO said that the pad see ew is the best he's ever had. Can't wait to try everything else on the menu! It is tucked away on a cozy corner of the shopping center by the Liquor Mart. The service is great and every other plate I've seen served has looked enticing.

I've been here about 5 times now and every single time I leave so full and so happy. The staff is wonderful. The food is great.
The curry is unreal, if you want to try the yellow curry before committing to the dish, get the curry appetizer - you won't be disappointed. The spring rolls are delicious as well.

Staff is always friendly and accommodating. Food is great and flavorful! My go to Thai spot in the area.

Service was ok, was about 11 am when we went, maybe the cold weather had her down. Food was delicious price was not bad for what you get. Would go again.

I ordered coconut water, and when they gave an actual coconut on a plate with a straw and a spoon, I was sold! I got to sip the refreshing juice and spoon out the meat while I waited for my delicious plate of Pad see ew. I ordered sans eggs, and tofu for my protein choice to meet my vegan diet and they were very patient, kind, and accommodating. The atmosphere was very peaceful and it was a great break from work!

Wow..first time ordering from this place...I am definitely ordering again (call in your order and save on all hidden fees). I definitely recommend the Eggplant and tofu, calamari is delish.

Look no further!! I tried the bbq chicken and it was phenomenal. Anytime I’m back in the LA/ Azusa area I will stop by again.

What a wonderful gem in Azusa! Great service, really nice people, delicious food. They have a really cute patio with herbs growing. They are consistently good. The pad Thai, drunken noodle and green curry rice are my favorites. Egg rolls are always hot and crispy.

We go here for lunch and dinner. Yummy food with wonderful options - and their lunch special cannot be beat!
