Mickey’s Italian Delicatessen & Liquor Store

Went to Mickey’s Deli on St. Patrick’s Day and had the corn beef sandwich, it was amazing! So flavorful, from cornbread to coleslaw and the grilled bread was fire! Sorry I didn’t attach the photo, it was to good! I devoured it before I took the picture.

Also, ordered the pastrami pizza it was yummy. Never had it before, it has great flavor.

I will definitely be back, I enjoyed this local spot near Hermosa Beach strand for a sandwich and pizza.

This is A hidden gem in Hermosa Beach. Their sauce is one of the best. I was going to order the Pastrami, but seen this homemade meatball sandwich on the menu and seen all marinara sauces that they bottle and sell in the store. So I had to give it a try and I'm glad I did!!!! That was one of the best meatball sandwiches I have EVER had!!!!!! I also went with an xl pizza and that was good also. I'd recommend anything that has the sauce on it. Then I got excited when I seen the slush puppy machine. It's not exactly the same as.it was back in the day, but the flavor was and it sure brought back the childhood memories!!!

Great spot. Classic Italian deli menu. Lovely sandwiches and very good pizza. Italian beef was delicious and w peppers all the way through it stays spicy. The large is more than most people can eat (see picture). Good to share. Wife loved the Reuben (but it’s non traditional) and pizza was simple but great.

Our go to lunch spot when we’re working in Hermosa. Definitely get the pastrami pizza. It’s like an open face Ruben sandwich.🥪

Try the large BLT and have them smash avocado with it ,,, big enough for two to share sit on the patio and enjoy the beach vibes

Mickey’s is a deli/ store that has a little bit of everything. There is 15 minute street parking out front or meters if you need more time. I recommend calling in your order so you don’t have to wait. We ordered a pepperoni calzone, pasta salad, and a pastrami deluxe sandwich. There are no tables inside, so we got our order to go. I think Mickey’s has one of the best pastrami sandwiches in the South Bay. The deluxe came with mayo, mustard, pepperoncinis, lettuce, tomato, and a generous amount of pastrami. The calzone had lots of pepperoni. This will definitely be my go to place the next time I want a good pastrami sandwich. While we waited for our food I looked around the store. This is a great neighborhood market that has almost everything. I’ll definitely be back to try more items on the menu. They have pizza by the slice. I found the employees here to be very helpful and happy. They even gave us a sample of the pasta salad to taste. Overall, this is a great place to go!

Definitely one of the best local sandwich shops we have come across in the South Bay. Very well priced, great sandwich selection (I got the Italian deluxe combo which was very very good) and if you're not in the mood for a sandwich, like my wife wasnt, they have some damn good slices of pizza too. Fantastic spot to grab a bite to eat and then take a sunset stroll down the strand!

I decided to do a quick food tour of Hermosa and thought… lets give them a try. Let me say the customer service is superb, I watched as a few people ahead of me interact with the cashiers. It’s definitely a neighborhood spot, somewhat of a hidden gem. A block off the strand so if you’re not looking for it you won’t find it. After some debating, I decided to go with a slice of the Sicilian pepperoni pizza! It was huge, enough for 2 if you have a small appetite. The grinders looked delish, I will have to come back and give them a try!

Hermosa chicken deluxe Sandwich was one of the best I ever had. Tons of Italian dishes, pizza amazing.

Ordered a foot long Italian beef, three slices of pizza and a pasta salad, enough food for four people, old 35 dollars! Italian beef is good, my little one enjoys the pasta, but the pizza is just okay.

Was walking down the beach and saw this place and had to stop. It was well worth stopping, the sandwich was delicious and they had great service. The price was fair as well. Will definitely be coming back next time I'm in town.

10 out of 10 in all areas! A vast menu of Great pizzas, great sandwiches plus plus plus. You can get pizza by the slice!! Im reeled in by An incredible pastrami pickle pizza That is so good you won't be able to stop. A connected patio offers easy beach access, fun people watching and relaxing spot to grub. Or grab your grub and head to the beach only feet away. Ample parking is by meter and is a cheap.

Went here from a recommended friend. This place didn't disappoint. The place looks a little sketch at first but it's a small place and convince store in one so not a deal breaker. We got the chicken parm and I believe the beef deluxe. Totally worth the drive and wait in my opinion from Westchester. Will be coming back sometime to try the other subs and food. Parking on the street is available mostly we went in the evening for dinner. The staff is nice and the wait wasn't long.

I was fortunate to try their subs from a charity golf tournament. The vegetarian sub was soooo good, I didn't even know it was a vegetarian. Excellent 💯. I'll have to take a trip from Temecula to try this again. Thank you!

I've had their meatball sandwich, pepperoni calzone and pastrami pizza. They've all been great!
The new deli look makes it look bigger and brighter.

Well my new record, been going here since highschool 1980's just returned for a visit with youngest son, my oldest son lost his vans shoes after highschool over 10 years ago at the beach and I picked him up here after volleyball. Mickey's was a great Mom stop, to pick up kids and diner 2017.
FYI it's still the bomb for the best deli and sandwiches. Don't miss visiting the fish so cool or picking out chips and maybe specialty drinks as needed?

Got the eggplant parmigiana and pepperoni calzone for takeout today. The eggplant parmigiana came with a side of garlic bread, too. The food was super delicious and the staff was very friendly.

This was my first time eating eggplant parmigiana, and it had so many layers with a great meaty texture that I didn’t even miss not eating meat.

The bread was fresh and chewy, and the calzone was so flavorful that I didn’t even need the marinara sauce that came with it.

Portions are quite generous and reasonably priced. The food was hearty and there were enough leftovers for another meal. :)
