Intelligentsia Coffee Silver Lake Coffeebar

Coffee was amazing. I got the Not so Irish Latte. It wasn't too sweet and you could taste the non-alcoholic bourbon in the drink. They have coffee for sale and on Saturdays, you get $2 off a single origin bag of coffee. The place was gorgeous. Mostly outside seating but it's under a roof. Slow turnover, a good place to catch up with friends. Wouldn't recommend studying here.

I love @intelligentsia Coffee. Until September, they have a watermelon addition to your coffee. I tried it alone and it was yummy. Maybe it would be better with a soda or tea. I got it without the simple syrup. Everybody is absolutely wonderful. Very prideful, outdoor, covered seating in little Sunset Junction outside mall. Great bakery items.

Always consistently great coffee and espresso! I went rouge and tried the mocha - excellent and not too sweet. Intelligentsia never disappoints

Loved the coffee here. Ordered a cup of mocha coffee and it tasted fantastic! The ambiance was lovely, staff was friendly. Parking was a little bit of challenge though.

I used to come here all the time when I lived in the neighborhood. It felt like coming home. I was greeted with a smile and friendly baristas

Coffee was good, chai was really good, service was OK, not very helpful, almost annoyed. The place is designed very nice. They have sandwiches too so if you're looking for something more than pastries, make sure to look near the enterance in the cooler.

Great spot. Love all the designs in this place. Good coffee though I prefer the mocha elsewhere. Will try something else next time :)

Had an espresso and an off-book mixerato (spelled right?) espresso was fine. The day was nice and the people pleasant.

But the off-book mixerato was fantastic!! I’d go back just for that!!

If you love coffee like I love coffee then this place is worth the trip. Great atmosphere and staff was friendly. It’s refreshing to get a nice, quality cup of joe and enjoy it in a comfortable environment. This place reeks of quality from their talented baristas to their selection of beans

I visited LA from the UK recently and this place quickly became my go to coffee place. The matcha lattes are amazing ( being vegan I had mine with almond milk) and the vegan pies are delicious! The place has a great vibe and all the staff are really nice, which I think is one of the main reasons for the good atmosphere.

Nice atmosphere, seats inside and outside the cafe, their matcha donut was great, coffee late was good, it could be better, but overall experience was great 👍🏾

I’m impressed that even after so many years, and so much growth, Intelligentsia has done a great job maintaining the distinctive flavor of their bean!

It’s def different then the more fruity tones that has been common with other small roasters but I love the bold taste of their bean.

This location has an amazing ambiance, free WiFi, awesome and friendly baristas who know their stuff. Highly recommend to use this as a pitstop!

Awesome cafe limited only by the seating (of which it has quite a lot, but it's very popular). Intelligentsia is a coffee institution. It's owned by Peets since 2015, but that hasn't changed the quality or focus one bit. This spot has great coffee, a good selection of beans, a few little pastries (that are mostly gone by the early afternoon), and even some accessories you can buy. I went twice, bought beans twice and had coffee too.

Corn Flake cookies. My God. Those and their chai tea is enough to make you want to work there every day. Only downside is because all this stuff is so good it's consistently crowded which often means making the choice between sipping on a warm beverage under the blazing LA sun or waiting for a table by staring at people as they nibble on their corn flake cookies silently urging them to leave but also hoping they're enjoying that cookie. All around great spot.

Acidity on the tongue and then chocoalte nasal notes. or something. It's another pretentious coffee place on sunset. Great coffee. Nice sitting area. You'll love it.

Decided to purchase two different types of beans during this visit. First was a Colombian: Sanctuario Red Typica. Second was a blend of three African beans: Rwanda, Burundi, and Ethiopia. Looking forward to trying both soon.

Saw this shop on comedians in cars getting coffee, well not this location, my family ignored me when I gave them the address I really wanted to get to the venice location since I was going to venice beach, but I digress...
either way we arrived and were given explanations on certain flavors and offerings. I ended up with a sweet latte, mocha and hot chocolate..they were soooo good.

The best coffee is LA. This is not up for debate.

I love the place, The ambiance is so perfect. The coffee taste so good. Highly recommended
