Tunnel of Trees

Tunnel of trees- so beautiful! Views of Lake Michigan and the woods. Trillium are gorgeous in May.

Beautiful scenic ride. Road throughout is a little narrow but as you drive there are a few roadsides like general store, cabin with cider, and pictures to take of the water.

Love this drive! If you like the woods and winding roads - take the road closest to the coast (119) the entire way from Habor Springs until you come to the Legs Inn Restaurant. It's a favorite drive of mine.

But for the long wait to get on the skybridge it was awesome. But you do expect a long wait to get the majestic fall view at this time of the year

IN AWE OF ANOTHER PLACE GOD'S BEAUTY HE GAVE US TO ENJOY IN NORTHERN MICHIGAN! MY FIRST TRIP THROUGH THE TUNNEL OF TREES! LEAVES WERE JUST STARTING TO CHANGE COLOR. OUR TIME THERE WAS OCT 7. OUR DAY TRIP TOOK US TO GOODHART, MI. VISITED THE BUSTLING 'LIL GENERAL STORE, AND THE FEW VENDORS OUTSIDE THE STORE. PORTA POTTIES TO USE OUT BACK, BUT BRING YOUR OWN TP. THEY RAN OUT WHEN WE WERE THERE. A COMMON FIRE PIT WAS THERE WITH VISITORS SITTING AROUND IT ENJOYING A NICE FIRE. PICNIC TABLES THERE TO SIT AT ALSO.

Amazing one of my favorite places !!! The road is kinda narrow and it’s gets busy definitely a challenge if your hauling a camper. I go here every fall. Must try the chicken pot pies in good hart 🙂

It’s an awesome place to visit in Upper Michigan during Falls ! You dont get to stop but You can drive slowly enjoying the scenic trees and its beauty 👍🏼

This drive is amazing. The fall colors were beautiful. The road is very narrow and some people were in a hurry. We just kept pulling over. It rained, hailed and snowed all in a few hours. Gotta love Michigan. 😅

This is place to visit during fall season. It has long and scenic motor trails. Where you can have amazing driving experience while surrounded by trees of different color. Some trails has river view on one side too. When we went there it was post peak fall time but looking at the remaining colorful trees I can imagine how beautiful it will look during peak fall fall season.

This was a fun thing to do on a beautiful summer day. Relaxing with beautiful scenery. We were lucky to find a local to tell us where there was a beautiful secluded beach in Good Hart and it was wonderful. The general store and tea shop/ gift shop in Good Hart were also a highlight. Lavender lemonade! Another must-see is Legs Inn in Cross Village. Sooo unique. And don’t miss the garden area with panoramic views of Lake Michigan and three lighthouses. We had an incredible day meandering along the tunnel of trees.

Cannot recommend this drive enough. Mid September was absolutely gorgeous. The water on one side and the most incredible lake homes on the other. Great coffee spots along the way. Would do this over and over again. If you are in a hurry and don't have the patience to take in your surroundings this is not for you.. if you want to immerse yourself in beauty and imagination then take this trip M119 📸💛

This place is beautiful! We visited during the perfect time when the leaves were just started changing colors. Felt kind of jealous looking at houses next to the lake, but just driving through was very satisfying.

I think we went to early this year because the colors haven't changed, but it was still a beautiful day. There are small cute towns to stop in to do a little shopping and get snacks. Makes for a nice relaxing drive.

Amazing - 2019 Tunnel of Trees scenic drive from Harbor Springs to Cross Village. The Changing color of the leaves are beautiful. It was refreshing riding the 119 Strip. Lot of curves and turns to see the Awesome View. I will be back next year. Lake Michigan is GORGEOUS!

Beautiful drive and scenery! If you get the chance, I absolutely suggest taking the time out of your vacation to do so. You wind up at the historic restaurant Legs Inn when you are done through the tunnel of trees. Amazingly cool restaurant to check out. Great food;great atmosphere!

Rode my motorcycle through and it did not disappoint. An absolutely beautiful drive. The road is very narrow and there is very few places to stop so be prepared. Still a must see, highly recommend.

One if the best rides on a Vespa! I am not sure how many times we have gone through the Tunnel of Trees. Always a beautiful view! Dinner at Leg's Inn is always a great bonus!

Great scenic route! You can find some spots to watch the lake along the road.
We visited in summer and riding bike in the early morning was so refreshing.

Beautiful view and loved the ride, we rode through on motorbike and it was amazing even being all green.

It was my first time visiting Tunnel of trees last weekend and I couldn’t imagine how beautiful it is during Fall. We just drove through the tunnel of trees from Cross village to Harbor springs and took some stops go get awesome pictures of the colors. It was worth to drive 4 hours from where i live to get to Tunnel of trees!!
