BEST peach pie EVER!!!!
Cute old style store with a bakery out back. Absolutely the best pie I’ve ever had. The crust was like a cross between a Scottish shortbread and a sugar cookie. Don’t drive past this place in Good Hart on the tunnel of trees scenic drive

Do not drive up M-119 after Harbor Springs and pass by this spot! The lines may be long but it is well worth the wait! In the garden you can play games and relax while you enjoy the amazing cookie, pie and lunch creations made here! Our favorite the Salted Peanut Butter Chocolate chip cookies. The cookies sometimes still warm will melt in your mouth!
The array of Michigan made products and local crafts are one of a kind. Prices range from low to high. The atmosphere is of a small family market and it’s perfect for a short stop.
Also if you are a dog lover they are welcome to stop and relax with you. There are a couple of dogs who live there that are very sweet. If you are a dog lover it can definitely fill your bucket.

A fun place to shop with souvenirs- shirts, stickers, etc. Nice variety of beverages as well. Will definitely to try the bakery next time!!

Such a cute shop with a lot of old fashioned gifts and treats. They were selling fresh cookies that were so delicious! We got a lemon bar, a chocolate chip cookie, and the best one was the iced oatmeal one! It was SO GOOD!!!! We also tried some of the old fashioned soda they had in the fridge. They had all sorts of good flavors! Such a fun store, totally worth a stop!

This was a good place to stop down the route of Tunnel of Trees. Their pies (chicken pot pie and the apple cranberry) are homemade and so delicious. It was a great spot to stop and take a break.

What a quaint and beautiful little store! Lot's of unique Michigan items, snacks and beverages. Its a great place to stop and take a break. The staff is very friendly! Thanks for being such a classy place!

When it comes to the small town Good Heart, this is the only building. There are 2 businesses next to them but this is truly the general store. Would come again.

A very pleasant stop (and necessity stop) while driving from Harbor Springs to Cross Village. They sell a little is everything Inc M119 items and food. They had some amazing homemade pies and also sell sandwiches. (This is also the local post office)

They had amazing customer service! I lost my pin on the way home and they sent me a new one in the mail because I couldn't order it anywhere online!! Such a nice stop on our trip 💜 will definitely be back!!

This is pretty much in the middle of nowhere, which is half of its appeal. The proprietor has clearly been thoughtful in determining what to offer its visitors--from eats that are ready to go (the apple bacon squash soup on this chilly day in October was sublime!) to packaged food/drinks and gifts, many of which are nicely non-souvenirish. Sadly, the original building has been replaced, and I momentarily panicked when told the restrooms were "out back" behind the building. However, even though they were Port-a-Pottys, they are the modern, much more tolerable structures (aka clean). Maggie the dog is a precious surprise co-host in the building. The fall colors were at peak when we visited, and this stop is glorious for photo ops (including the old cabin across the road). Staff is warm and helpful.

Yup...that was the best pot pie I ever had. The crust was perfect. I cannot emphasize "perfect" with any other superlative.

My four sisters and I found this gem last September on a drive through the Tunnel of Trees. We loved listening to the owner's wartime stories. Better than most museum tours! The baked goods were amazing too.

Stopped here for the first time this past weekend. I bought a sweatshirt, pot pies, and the whitefish pate. I loved every item I bought. The whitefish pate is simply amazing and is made on site (the pot pies are too!). This is not your typical touristy shop, it is so much more than that. They have just about anything you need for an enjoyable visit to Good Hart. Will definitely make my way back here.

Love this place winter, spring, summer and fall but especially summer. The baked goods are the BEST! Breads, pies, cookies and you can get the pot pies shipped home. This is a little patch of heaven along the most beautiful drive anywhere!

What a wonderful place! I highly recommend stopping in and buying a pie, whitefish pate or bread. Absolutley delicious! The employees are so helpful and accomodating too. They were so kind in helping us when we couldn't log in to our rental instructions. Thank you for starting off our trip on the right foot. Your kindness will not be forgotten. Don't miss the Saturday Farmer's Market either. The band is not to be missed!

Stopped there today to rest on my motorcycle ride and the store smells awesome from the baked goods. You have to try the chocolate chip/peanut butter/sea salt cookie. Very good. I was in Mackinaw before I tried it. I would ride there again just for the cookie. ;)

Always feel like a "local" when we stay in the area. This store and the people who run it are gems. The baked goods remind me of my Nana. Enjoy swapping sea stories with my buddy, Jim. Some are even true.
