Royal Oaks Park

My dog loves walking the paths with me. I love living close to this place.

Clean restrooms. Dog friendly, locals seem to care about cleaning up after their pups too. Lots of space for kids to run around while picnicking.

Nice park and plenty of space for kids and families to play and relax. The trees provide of a lot shade and there’s a covered gazebo for parties or for picnics. There’s a field on one side you could easily set up for volleyball or play some soccer. There’s basketball courts and tennis courts a little ways down and pathways for walking. It’s a sand park so I recommend wearing close toed shoes. It’s not play/beach sand. There’s parking but it fills up fast

Clean park. Ride safe space to park and play. There is plenty of room to have your small dog play with the ball.. Large and small walking trails. Nice, well-built play sets for little kids. You have a choice of playing basketball or tennis

Visited on an April, early evening, still light out and the weather and scenery were beautiful! We took a walk around the bridge area and it was very peaceful and relaxing. I would like to come back and spend more time.

Honestly a really amazing parks. We didn’t get bit by any mosquitos 😊 my girlfriend and had a BBQ together ❤ was so perfect! I highly recommend this park 😇

Great playground equipment for different ages, but it may vary depending on child capabilities.

The basketball pitch is very well illuminated until 10pm, so it is a great park for late people. I usually do my workout after sunset here and glad that I can always use the park until 10pm.
The park looks like a pretty safe place, I just saw few strange person after 9pm. There is usually people around doing acitivity even after sunset.

I've been going to Royal Oaks Park for about 25 years! That's how much I like it!

I had the best walk ever....and got to see wild life... check them out - please respect wild life, Do Not Scare or do other idiotic things to frighten them. Peace to all, four legged or two😍

This park is a nice park. It has basketball courts, tennis courts, and a playground for kids and a building you can rent where the city also hosts various events. It's right off the bike / walking trail. There's also a little free library posted here. It's at the foothills of the mountain so it can he a great view and just across the street is more space to play football or soccer on the grass.

I love to walk here with my daughter of 1 1/2 years the park is cleaned daily. I see the sand and leafs being blown all the time trash being changed out. The bathrooms always have soap & toilet paper. There is even a pump for air in case its needed on you bike while riding the trail. The community is beautiful & quiet. Very tranquil.

There is nice parking spaces and is most of the time clean.

Parties, picnic, BBQ, playground,tennis courts, basketball courts, and clean restrooms.

I've been going to Royal oaks since I was in high school! It's simply part of me after twenty two years of running or riding my bike there.
I find so much peace at Royal Oaks that I still go there once a week at least!

I only wish people would clean up after themselves to keep the park beautiful. The city does a great maintaining the equipment.

For most it's the end of the bike path that begins at Buena Vista and ends there. Or does it now it's just little intermission you have to go through neighborhood and then it continues on to San Gabriel River and then you go either the beach or the mountains . Which makes it that much more special that I love my valley the San Gabriel valley
