I just wanted to share how wonderful Sean and Chris at Import Car Specialists have been over the many years that I have been bringing my cars to this repair shop. I was referred to Sean at Import a few years back - because many friends were telling me how honest Sean is - and how fair his pricing was. Sean has always gone 'above and beyond' to make sure that my vehicles were running smoothly and that I was safe. He takes the time to get to know his clients, which is a quality in a business that I greatly value. Chris is always so pleasant to deal with, he's very courteous, knowledgeable. The whole team has been such a pleasure to work with, that now everyone in my family (even my extended family) brings their vehicles here for repairs. Choosing a repair shop is all about trust - this is a shop that you can trust!

This is the best mechanic in Thousand Oaks. Recently brought in a 99 Infiniti with 200k miles on it. Every other place I took it to was quoting well over the car was worth to fix the engine problem. The guys here took care of it in an economic and smart way for my situation. Their fix was good for a couple weeks until my light came on again, but that's a situation I am ok with because they started the repairs and got it running without me having to drop all that money at once, and I'm bringing it again to see what the next fix is. Keep in mind it's a 24 year old car with 200k miles. When I brought another car that was a lot newer, my old 2008 Mazda 3, they fixed it up perfect.

Sean is awesome! Reasonably priced and INCREDIBLY honest. I've had three different friends recommend him and I've paid those recommendations forward to other friends!! They have done an amazing job on my wife's Honda Accord and my Tundra. I love that Sean has a Tundra too so he has great knowledge of my truck!!

They've earned 6 stars. Superb knowledge, kind, quick, and very fair prices. Twice they've fixed gnarly problems with my 21 year old Infiniti. Now I won't take it any other place!

I've been using Import Car Specialists for about 2 years and I've never had anything but a GREAT experience. I've brought my Mercedes in for a number of things from regular tune ups to engine problems and Shawn is always so thorough in explaining what they find, costs and what must be done and what you can get away with not doing.

I've always felt that I'm dealing with honest people who do great work at a fair price which is hard to find for auto repair shops. Don't hesitate to use them. You will definitely be another satisfied customer!

Well folks, the reviews don't lie. Took my 09 SL550 in on 8/31/17 to get the alternator & belt replaced. Dropped the car off the night before using their drop box to leave the key, next morning get a call saying job was done and..... the price could not be any more reasonable. It cost me 1/3 of what I was quoted by the Mercedes dealer. Super impressed, glad I found this place. Very pleasant on the phone as well!!!

I've been a client of Sean for several years now. When I have a service issue I bring any of my 3 autos to Sean without hesitation. Audi, Toyota or a 3/4 ton truck, Import car specialists is a place you drop your car off and dont worry about the price or service. They stand by their work and explain everything. This is the place your looking for in a local service shop.

I live in Orange County and bring my car to Sean. I drive almost 90 miles. The reason is I don’t trust anyone as I trust these guys. The provide excellent service, work, with high degree of professionalism and quality.

When the engine light on my VW went on I was concerned. The car is nearing 100K and I thought the worst. Something told me that the dealership was not the way to go so I did a Yelp search and found raves for ICS. I brought it in and everyone was right. Sean and the entire staff are amazing, delightful, helpful, and 100% professional. Car was fixed on time and even came in a little under the estimate. It does not get any better.

I've been going to Sean for probably 10 years I'm guessing. Maybe more. I'm 56. I've been to a lot of auto mechanics. Sean is the best. If you look any further for an auto mechanic, you are wasting your time and it would be your loss going to anyone else. Plain and simple.

I recommend Sean to anyone who drives a foreign car. He is trustworthy, reliable and reasonably priced. When I get my next car, I will only get a foreign car, to have Sean take care of it.
