Kabuki Japanese Restaurant

Highly recommend! Super tasty and cheap. The fish is very fresh, you can see how the chef cuts it.

I was hoping this place would still be open after the last few years. It’s been a minute since the last time I ate here. The server was so sweet and helpful explaining what a few items were. Oh, and the Host was extremely welcoming, as well as the gentleman who played musical chairs with us about our seating preference 😆 The Japanese whiskey drink (can’t remember what it was called) was pretty satisfying and their Happy hour (3-6:00) made our last minute dining experience even better! The fish was VERY FRESH, I have to say.. everything was 👍🏻 🏆

Food is top quality and warms your heart. Amazing place to visit and gather around with family and friends.

I'm not quite sure why this place gets docked for "being a chain". Despite usually being mildly understaffed, they're extremely friendly, quick, and responsive. Their food is great, their service is friendly, and their drinks are delicious.

Chain restaurant in the Howard Hughs mall. Bright. Cheery. Out server Bryan was attentive. Decent size menu with good choices. Not someplace I would bring a friend visiting from Japan. But rainbow roll, ikura and salmon was good. Miso soup on salty side.

Kabuki was delicious. Portions were really robust. Everything tasted fresh, and service was attentive. Most unique yellowtail sashimi we had - carpaccio inspired! Very corporate atmosphere but had ample seating despite being busy.

Fast and courteous service. Pork cutlet was perfect! Perfect crispy light fry on the pork and the pork remained tender cooked to perfection.

Surprisingly better than I expected, haha. Either that or I had very low expectations. Their rolls aren’t bad. I had the Kabuki roll and Spider Roll. We also got a spicy miso ramen (note: this ramen doesn’t come with any meat, might be vegetarian?) but it’s still very flavorful and fulfilling!

Great sushi to be found not only at Howard Hughes, but also in the Culver City area. Service is great too. Wonderful selection of plates also. 🍣

Went here before catching a movie at the cinemark, was pleasantly surprised by the happy hour deals! Half expected the rolls to be a smaller portion but they were full sized rolls and everything was fresh and tasty! Didn't have to wait for a table on a Friday evening and perfect timing to catch our movie, took a little less than an hour from sitting to leaving.

Nice spot for sushi with great happy hour near Culver City, Los Angeles. Food and service is good whenever I go. Sauteed Asparagus is my favorite appetizer. My go to rolls are Alaskan and Dragon. Tried the Rose Roll during my most recent visit and loved it.

Updating after visiting for happy hour... Fried Gyoza & Fire Cracker appetizers were delicious. Many of my favorite rolls (Alaskan & Rose) were on the happy hour menu so that was nice. Tried the BSCR & Salmon & Albacore Sushi (both seared) from happy hour menu & they were delicious. Albacore Crunch Roll wasn't on the happy hour menu but is a must-have. It has a light & fresh flavor. Only complaint is the happy hour drinks. Both the Mojito & Sangria tasted too sweet & watered down.

You will definitely get way more for your money here than any other sushi place, bar none. And everything.. EVERYTHING on Kabuki's menu is great. I have been coming to Kabuki since they first opened in Woodland Hills on Ventura Blvd. I have given great reviews at other sushi restaurants we frequent, but it would cost $200 at Hama what we got at Kabuki for $67 bucks. From 8-10 dollar cocktails, to a descriptive roll menu with designer rolls for $10, you won't feel a huge dent in your account. Love this place!

We had such a lovely lunch with the greatest service from Brian. The kids enjoyed the chicken ramen and California rolls.

Kabuki is such a great resturant. This is my second time eating there. I had the tereyaki salmon with veggie and shrimp tempura along with spicy tuna roll.

The Alaskan Rolls are everything to me! I always order them when I come. I tried the cucumber salad and it was ok. Their tempura is a CHEFS KISS. I like to come for lunch or dinner. It doesn’t matter. Kabuki is always a win!

I was with a friend in this restaurant. The meals we ate were very tasty. Want to come again.
