Montebello Barnyard Zoo

This place was nice and small, the place was clean and even had a sink to wash your hands after touching the animals. The animals were very docile and friendly. Our grandson had a blast walking back and fourth petting the animals.

First time here after following their Instagram page for a while. Cute little barn yard/ zoo experience in the city. Very nice if you have toddler or small children. They offer different services such as pony ride, train ride on a tractor and merry, go round. You’re allowed to feed some of the animals which is nice for the kids and adults. Customer service is on point all the team members are friendly and attentive. It’s very clean and up kept. They offer a place to wash your hand after you’re done interacting with the animals. Yes , you can’t access certain animals enclosures but it’s definitely for the safety of the visitors and the animals. We need to keep community businesses like this alive and thriving!

Really liked this little barnyard zoo. I had read reviews about the animals not looking too healthy but to be honest they look fine to me. I'm no animal expert but they did not look neglected. Anyways, I would bring my toddler again but not on a weekend. Too packed as usual and parking can get crowded because of sport activities.

Was brought here for my birthday and had a great time. We were able to feed all the goats, donkeys, and horses. All the animals are extremely well taken care of. Will def go again when im feeling stressed :)

Kids loved the animals. You can buy a baggie of food for some of the animals. Nice place to visit with the kids. Connect to a park with picnic tables. They have a few rides. Kids loved the train pulled by a tractor.

What a blast! Didn’t even know this place me around here until last weekend. Daughter absolutely loves it, and can’t wait for us to have our own farm.

My toddler and I came here and had a wonderful time. She really enjoyed the goats and the chickens and there were a lot of fun decorative details to see and enjoy. Melanie (the owner maybe?) visited with us and was kind enough to give us a ride on the merry-go-round for FREE. I will definitely be coming back!

Was a nice, out of the way stank place to drag my little kids too. They loved it! Feeding the animals and also enjoyed all the rides.

Its a small place but fun for little kids. The parki g is in the park and you walk to the back, there are signs to guide you. Nice little 30min - 1 hour zoo. Limited selection of animals but to a small kid its going to be a great adventure. There are playgrounds next to the zoo to take the kids after.

Omg soper cute experience. We went for the first time and our toddler was more than amazed with the animals. We got to feed almost everyone. Staff was super helpful and kind. Highly recommend to entertain the kiddos for an hour.

Great place to bring your kids all year long! It’s very calm and very cute. Pony rides, merry go round, train tractor ride, Petting zoo. You can also host parties for the kids. I have been coming here for 11 years and my kids and I love it.

Barnyard zoo was a blast! We bought the feed and got to let the animals nibble from our hands. The kids loved it!

This is a park right next to an animal zoo, that has a few interesting animals, which you can see them even when the zoo is closed, right of Beverly Blvd and easy to get to. In the middle of Los Angels sprawl, this a wonderful relaxing place to be. Ample parking, lots of green pastures and trees, walk and bicycle trails, kids would love it. FS

It was a fun experience for my 4 yr old twins. They rode the pony and petted a few animals. It is small, but good for someone going for their first time. There is a large park with a splash pad connected to the zoo.

Check Groupon for their admission discount. It was $11 for all 4 of us. $16 for the twins to ride a pony. $5 for Merry Go Round. $5 Feed animals. But there is other stuff. We just did the admission and pony ride.

My family loves this place! It's so quiet and very family friendly. The animals are very sweet too! Please get a bag of feed when you visit. The animals look forward for all the yummy treats! Also, you can reserve certain sections of the park for parties!
