McKenna Elementary School

Everyone to its own opinion, great and fair. What's not fair is to casterize professional members for doing their job, how they do their jobs. Being of customer server myself, it's not easy keeping a smile on your face, 8+ hrs, 5+ days a/wk. Especially with the happy, mad, sad, angry and glad environment these personal work in. Give em a break, I personally like them and think they're doing a great job with our kids. The security of our kids is most important, not our way of thinking things should be ran.

We should thank them more, than criticize.

I go to that school I am going in 6th grade

I am a student at this school. Overall it is a goof school except the new principal Mrs. Martin. She recently spent money on wood chips to ruin the grass field a whole field. More people are going to nurse because of splinters and stuff when they fall. It doest help at all. They didn't just put it in the field either. They put it were the dirt was by some of the classrooms including the all the kinders a 5th grade class (my class) and 2 3rd grade classes. I think that was a bad choose. They have at least about 6 janitors for isomer reason. They really only need 2. The food is usually terrible. The kids go back to class still hungry after they eat. We used to be able to get seconds but when the principle again Mrs. Martin found out she said no because it was like we were homeless people vegging for food and if we were so who cares we were hungry still. And you see this has turned out as a story that's because my teacher is a good teacher. Also most of the teachers have faverites so that's not fair. And our last principle doesn't work at our school is because people say that the teachers bully him because he was tall. Thats stupid and not fair HE WAS A GOOD PRINCIPLE!!!! On that's all I guess sorry if I wrote a lit lol byeeee!!

I went there a while ago. I liked it there but I didn't love it. I still miss the music and gym teacher though. They we're my favorite 😀

Today is the first day of our child's second year. The school isn't too bad itself. A little unorganized but that happens. The front desk who I didn't get good vibes from last year is still rude and has a terrible attitude for being the first line of office ladies. The dark haired lady in the back of the front of office is super nice. I personally will try to talk over the rude lady to the nice lady just to avoid feeling like I am inferior for no reason. Our daughter does like the school itself and she seems to learn better here than other schools.

Here's an update. Our child has a medical condition where she needs to have access at any time to the bathroom. And under regulations students with a medical issue must be excused from school when necessary. Apparently the front desk doesn't feel she is allowed those privelages and that she doesn't have a medical condition. Do we need to share with you her scar across her stomach where they had to put her intestines back into her? Next step school board. This is unacceptable. Lady next time you hang up on us we will trek to the school on foot (since we are snowed in and can't get a vehicle out of our road, since they don't plow low traffic areas). You can't hang up on us if we are in front of you.
