This place has amazing customer service! But on a side note the bakery is wonderful!! Try the cookies and cream cake! It's the best I have had in a long time!

Charlotte who works at the deli is a wonderful, caring store employee, she makes the best sandwiches, she is a top notch that always goes the exact mile.

I do like this store. It is always clean and smelling good. A great selection of products in all categories. Clipping the coupons online definitely helps. My one complaint is that they have installed electric charging stations and grocery pickup stalls right up front. Now there is less handicap stalls available.

Like most people I don't really like grocery shopping, but today was different. I was checking out by the most wonderful woman named Janice. She made my shopping experience wonderful. She went above and beyond any and all expectations. So kind and a true joy. Her customers are her focus and it shows. Awesome

My go-to grocery store in Yelm. Very clean and great selection! The flower shop sells beautiful, long lasting flowers. I love Janice, she’s my favorite cashier there! Thank you Janice, for always smiling and being so kind!

Always have great produce and meat. Prices are in the higher end for many items but they offer good sales and coupons within the app. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

The place is clean top to bottom. Even the bathrooms. Meat department is awesome and there are some bargains.

I have lived all over WA and I’ve purchased very large bulk orders of Safeway’s “Cheap Chicken Monday” at almost every location from far up north down to Chehalis. Yelm Safeway has the most consistently cooked, delicious fried and baked chicken (which is more difficult to nail) and, by far, the best customer service in WA. I go out of my way to make my orders here because for over a year, Donna, Jason, Megan, Charlotte (to name a few, I wish I could remember all their names) have been the kindest, most patient and understanding Safeway associates I’ve experienced at a grocery store in any state and the Army has brought me to 10 states not to include the states I’ve been to outside of the Army life. I order an exuberant amount of chicken on Mondays enough to feed a small zoo and, many times, I’ve done so (shamefully) without calling ahead due to my work schedule, and yet they’ve never complained, they greet me with sincere kindness and they give me the gift a positive end to an otherwise exhausting Monday every single week. I highly recommend visiting this Safeway Deli so you can also enjoy grocery shopping as it was meant to be.

Always my go-to grocery store. Nice quality fruits, veggies and meat. The store is clean. I love the app for coupons. And I love that self check is always open until closing time. Also, I feel like their scratch ticket machines are luckier than others in Yelm.

Got a cake for a divorce party. The people in the bakery were so genuinely funny and nice, and helped us write a funny saying on a cake!

Me, my wifey and our 4 kids love this place. Nice and clean. Great smells of cookin things throughout the store. A great place to shop and let the kids run around. Store workers are so nice to them. All smiles and very helpful when things are needed. GOOD JOB SAFEWAY.

Safeway always has had the best choice meats to choose from, absolutley my only pick for meat. They also have club rewards wich i use as well. My #1 Grocery store

Not sure if this is a daily thing. I live in a neighboring town. But was in the area and needed to stop, but the store was SUPER busy. Was hard to find a parking space, and the store was very full. I think management should rethink some of the displays. Especially the one in self check. The free standing shelves make as obstacles to work around with carts, kids, people... it was just in the way. And with that in mind I see it as a danger or fire hazard if the store had to be evacatuated for any reason. But the lines moved quickly and the workers were nice. Bathroom was also clean and smelled clean which is always a plus.

My all time grocery shopping store. They have good price for everything inside with good deals and so far the cashier I met are awesome. Hats off federal way, keep it up.
