I just moved into a rental on Sunset and Hayworth which was a pretty expensive two bedroom but that’s the price you pay for a view. I was pretty much all set to stay here for two or three years and then on a whim I thought, what I’m paying now could also be a mortgage maybe I should see what’s on the market?

A couple of friends of mine had just made a purchase and I was kind of all over the place in my search. One thing I decided to do was to put more effort in the search because I knew interest rates would go up and my buying power would diminish and in today’s market that would mean I could afford much less. It had been a long time since I’d been a purchaser of a home and that was in Chicago.

Even though I lived here seven years I still could not decide on an area to narrow my search. I had friends who made a very smart purchase and I asked them who their realtor was and they told me JASON ANDERSON. So I gave him a call and as it turns out he was on vacation but he returned my call, answered a few simple questions, and said we could discuss more when he returned. With his help I decided on an area to focus my search and found that I was being outbid on some properties. They were posted very very low to attract a lot of attention and then that created bidding wars.

With Jason‘s help I put in some competitive bids and lost, then put in more serious bids and lost out on two properties. Jason was very patient but I was feeling pretty much like this was a losing proposition. Jason made a suggestion for a condo nearby that fit everything I was looking for, we made an aggressive bid with a two week close on the same day and finally success!!!

I appreciate Jason‘s ability to put together an offer quickly, his ability to learn what I was looking for and make a valuable experienced suggestions, and his patience with me throughout the process. I will definitely use him again and recommend him to any of my friends who are also looking. Now is the time to buy.
