5 stars .. 5 stars!!! our bakers of choice for the last 20+ years ... BEST CAKES EVER ... they did my parent's 50th wedding anniversary cakes, nieces quinceanera cakes, family wedding cakes and basically every family member's birthday cakes, baptism, first communion, etc.

Catering cakes we're done here. the mango or strawberry cake which is very good Asian style cake so it's not overly sweet. The cost is $39 per cake for I think what looks like a 9-in cake

They also sell bread here which is pretty good.

I do wish they revamped the store.

We found this hidden gem after visiting a few nearby bakeries for a birthday cake. After Googling "strawberry cake near me" Honey Bakery was one of the results. I'm so happy Google and other reviewers helped us find a delicious and beautiful fresh strawberry cake. Honey Bakery has been in that location for over 30 years and it will be our new go-to for cakes. Support small local businesses!

On Superbowl Sunday 2023, I walk into Honey Bakery with my mom, wife and daughter to get my daughter a birthday cake. Today is her 11th birthday!! Upon paying for the cake, it turns out that the store does not accept credit cards and we were low on cash. The gentleman behind the counter said that we can come back and pay later and just take the cake and pastries home. For a minute, I thought we were living in a small town where this is practiced, but seems like he brought the small town into this big city...very impressive and GREAT customer service. We bought six chocolate covered strawberries, a chocolate cake, and other pastries which totalled to about $80. To trust complete strangers is unheard of these days. My faith in humanity has been restored by this great kind gesture.

P.S. We live close by and returned within about 10-15 mins to give him the cash we owed.

I'm just in love with their cakes. Very fluffy cake and the frosting is not too sugary sweet. Just great!

I've loved this bakery for as long as I can remember. I live for the mango cake! If you want cake that is not too sweet, perfectly fluffy and light, and loaded with delicious ripe mango, you cannot go wrong with this one. The large one is $55 as of the time of this review, and is worth every cent.

My family has been going to here for years. We have enjoyed every cake and cookie we purchased from them.

Imo the best asian-style strawberry cake, at least in OC. Light, delicious, and generous with the fresh strawberries. Haven't tried the mango cake yet. Tried a few other pastries, all fresh and tasty. Do yourself a favor and check out this little gem next time you're in artesia/cerritos area.

I ordered my birthday cake here a long time ago and it was delicious, moist & lovely. Not a lot of pipetting in terms of cake deco but I wanted something simple. I also come here for dry custards all the time and raisin bread....it's really good!!!!

Birthday cakes were excellent and fits Asian taste as not too sweet.

Good moist Asian cakes. My favorite is strawberry. They seem well stocked and prepared. Not very social but they are polite and business oriented. Warning: CASH ONLY.

Stunning family owned bakery.
Their cakes are all incredible and are topped with fruits and nuts which is amazing. I highkey recommend the cream filled swiss roll, it's addictive.

Best place in town to get your cakes! Tasty and beautifully made. We have been buying cakes for over 5 years ! We love it!

If you like cakes that are not so heavy or sweet, this is the place to go. Prices are similar to other small business bakeries but worth it.
