Omni Los Angeles Hotel at California Plaza

From the moment we pulled up in front of the hotel, the hotel staff was welcoming, friendly, professional, and helpful. Valet, Doorman, Reception/Check-in staff all greeted us and answered all of our questions. The hotel itself and the room was very clean. The room was very roomy, plenty of space. The bathroom was large with a separate bath tub and also a shower stall. Water pressure was good, and the water stayed hot throughout our showers. The views of downtown LA were beautiful. Plenty of outdoor places to walk through and enjoy. Plenty of places to take beautiful pictures. The area is safe and clean. Plenty of places to dine or enjoy a few drinks. I really appreciated the extra security features, although you will always need your room key handy to use the elevators or to come back into the hotel from the outside court area on the second floor. Family friendly hotel with an outdoor giant chess board, corn hole, giant connect four games. The Angel Flight Trolly will take you down to more restaurants and more sightseeing areas. I highly recommend Omni Los Angeles Hotel at California Plaza.

Here for a conference and lucky me, I booked the Omni. Adam the bellman was extraordinarily patient and helpful. George the front desk manager gave me VERY early check-in, despite my not asking for it. (I was prepared to store my bags and go.) James at NOE Bar is a real asset. My room was lovely and the housekeeping was exceptional. Every staff member was friendly, courteous, and helpful. Really a great experience.

The employees are what make this hotel. Prime Hendrix at the front desk always sees to my every need. Charles and Victor in Valet always have a smile for you, and Robert and Oscar will happily drive you where you need to go if you use their services. While the rooms could use a smidgen of updating, they are extremely clean and comfortable and the hospitality and service is second to none. Omni DTLA is a hidden gem with its convenient location, car service to local destinations, and proximity to museums and amazing restaurants.

It was an experience that exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism, setting the tone for my entire stay.

The rooms were immaculate, with comfortable bedding, modern amenities, and a breathtaking view that added to the charm. Every little detail was catered for, ensuring a stay that was both luxurious and relaxing.

What truly set Omni hotel apart, however, was the incredible staff. Under the exceptional leadership of the manager, Mr. Robbie, the team went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. Their attention to detail, prompt service, and genuine kindness were remarkable. Whether it was the housekeeping staff's impeccable room maintenance or the concierge's insightful recommendations, every interaction was a delight. I booked for one night , and then extended my stay to 4 more nights!

I would like to extend my sincerest thanks to Mr. Robbie and the entire team. It's clear that you all take great pride in your work, and it shines through in every aspect of the hotel.

Hello I just wanted to make sure to write this review and let you know ahead of time that the 5 stars are for the young man named Fame in Loss Prevention and this is why.. This morning was time for us to check out, we came out for my Son's Recital this weekend. The hotel is beautiful but this review is about the service. This morning when doing my check list being a little rushed to get to the airport I missed a spot to check. Yes the closet well I still didn't realize that I didn't have my coat until I was boarding the plane, you know like a Home Alone mama moment instead of saying Kevin I was saying My Coat with my Keys in it. So with panicky fingers and a shaky voice I called the hotel and was put through to the front desk by a nice Operator. Here's the Boom! I was explaining to the young lady that I left my coat and where it was and room and what was in it and that I had already left was at the airport boarding when it hit me cause they announced the temperatures where I was going. And she said to a person that is distraught and I mean already down, how do you keep on kicking them no compassion "If they find it we will let you know." And I asked can you please tell me about what time and she said no but just some time today If they find it. I said wow, well I texted my sister before the plane was in the air and told her, she called and talked to a great very wonderful and compassionate Loss Prevention Man named Fame. She told me he would be contacting me cause they found my Coat and keys and he did. As I was thanking God for his Grace and Mercy and for just blessing me with a caring sister and someone who actually cares about people that worked at the Hotel. I had the pleasure of talking to Fame for myself he is truly AWESOME a person like him should be training people at that hotel and many venues about Moments of Care for people. But nit only that he made sure to help me by sending me my things. He understood and didn't judge me for leaving my things by accident through rushing my fault 100 percent. But instead made me feel better just by talking to me as another human being that cares. So easy to dismiss a person, But it's greater to understand and empathize with them. Like he said we have all left something at one point and time. May God Bless him always and May The Omni Hotel in Los Angeles realize what a true Gem he is to have there. I know this review is long but I had to give the back story. I am so thankful and blessed. And YES the front desk some of them need retraining and that young lady is one. Thank you again Fame 💓 I am truly happy to have talked to you on the phone now I feel even better.

Lovely hotel in DTLA with spacious rooms and friendly staff. Stayed for two nights and was really happy with my choice to stay at the Omni. Its located close to multiple train station options along with lots of food and bars in the area. Staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were well equipped and large. Hotel has a decent gym and a heated outdoor pool. Would definitely recommend to those looking for a hotel in the area

Prime, at check in, was so kind and did an awesome job with accommodating my additional requests. Room was very clean & quiet. I felt very safe because there’s 24 hour staff at the entry doors and, of course, no way to get to any room levels without a key. Stance Cafe was convenient to grab a quick bite and coffee before heading out. About 25 mins from the airport but plenty of restaurants and things to do locally.

Absolutely amazing experience! Every staff member at every level was courteous, helpful, and good-spirited. It is clear they take care of their staff.

The size and quality of the room are exactly as I would expect at this price point. The guest perks made our stay much more pleasant than I expected. I am not generally one to give weight to "perks", however, in this case, the perks were amazing!

Shoutout to Robin who toted us around several times during our stay. Super nice guy who gave awesome insight and was a pleasure to be around.

The upgraded rooms are big and roomy. The service is absolutely fantastic! Definitely see and feel the difference between an Omni and other brands. The icing on the cake is the location right above the Grand Central Market. Ride the Angel’s Flight from the third floor and there are so many food options almost every night. Additionally, the courtesy drivers will take you almost anywhere in a three mile radius.

The Omni in DTLA was great. The service was great, rooms were clean and spacious, and beds were comfortable. The location is convenient if you want to be downtown and there are several great restaurants within easy walking distance.

An AMAZING trip made so much better by the staff at Omni Hotel! Can’t say enough wonderful things about our experience, they were courteous to every request me and my partner had while celebrating our anniversary, gave us early check in, a room upgrade, and a very kind chocolate/desert plate and wine sent to our room to commemorate our occasion. My partner and I were so excited to come and enjoy our time exploring downtown, little Tokyo, Olivera street, and the Flower district and what always turns us off on our normal endeavors is parking and driving struggles. Omni provides a car services traditionally, but due to their car being out of service they provided us with Uber credits for our endeavors and it was so beyond useful, we were so grateful. The valet staff was so beyond kind, I believe the man who helped us was named Alex (can’t remember precisely) but he went above and beyond to make sure everything was sorted to our liking. We cannot recommend staying here enough, the room was very comfortable, the staff is so kind, and the location was perfect. We even were hooked up with tickets for MOCA and the Broad by the front desk, which ended up being one of our favorite activities. What a great stay all in all!

Beat place to stay in L.A. Will be my goto place when I visit L.A. highly recommended to anybody. They have a courtesy vehicle drop/pickup service for a 3 mile radius around the hotel... Great service !! Agreed to take a cash deposit without a credit card hold since I was a long tour and didn't want credit card having holds for longer periods... Great place to stay..

Just stayed at this property overnight for the Adam Lambert + Queen concert and we were wowed by the extraordinary service of the team. Ramon, Deryck and Alex made us feel like a red carpet was rolled out for us. Shuttle service was above and beyond which I hope Alex did not get in trouble for taking us and the other guests in the shuttle a little extra mile. There is no doubt he wants to give the best experience for the guests and we extremely appreciate it. Thanks to Sabrina, that warm, friendly and pretty face for the swift check in and Alfonso for taking us to our room and showing us the view, proudly explaining the property's location and the nearby places to check out, asking if we need anything and offered us a bucket of ice which was really kind. Kayla at Noe's was super amazing! She made sure that orders were right, drinks were our liking and taking the time to check on us from time to time. Location is great but what stood out is the wonderful team you have who are proud to help the guests. It may be a quick stay but a great one! Thank you team Omni L.A! You rock!

My partner and I stayed at the hotel for one night on November 28th and it was great. The room was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. The proximity to everything was also great. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The place was a lot better than the negative reviews I read before booking. The $60 valet is not mandatory. There’s a parking lot right next to the hotel that charges $15 per night. The food and complimentary drinks were amazing. The hotel rooms and general location were very quiet, which is rare in downtown Los Angeles. I recommend the place. So far is the one I liked the most in downtown.

Went for the Sunday brunch. It's a great location. Offers valet parking. Great food and the live ban was awesome.

Wonderful hotel with a wonderful staff! The Bellevue suite is stunning and it was such a surprise to be upgraded, free of charge, to this room!
