Heavenly Pancakes

My family and I have been coming to Heavenly Pancakes for the great food, fair prices and excellent service for years. The dining room isn't too big so if you're coming on a weekend or in the morning be prepared to wait for a bit. Besides a well worth it wait, there is not too much you can complain about with this beloved staple of San Fernando.

This is a medium sized local neighborhood restaurant that has been serving the community for many years. It is very clean and bright with a friendly and attentive staff. The menu is quite extensive with a huge variety of breakfast choices, lunch options, classic dinners and yummy desserts. 4 different flavors of milk shakes can be added to the dessert choices. The food arrived hot and fresh to our table, and the breakfast burrito I ordered was plentiful and quite tasty. Rather than the standard rice and beans, they used lettuce and tomato mixed in with the ham and eggs. I will definitely be going back to sample more of the many options. I understand there can be a pretty long wait on weekends and during peak hours, but it will be worth it. I went there at 11.30 am on a Tuesday and by noon it was almost full with the lunch crowd, but never seemed crowded.

The restaurant has all types of diner fare ans they do all day breakfast. The food was quite good, and I really enjoyed the the diner atmosphere. The only real negative was the service, as our waiter forgot our toast multiple times. This is only a small complaint as our food arrived quickly and was delicious. Recommended if you want to enjoy classic American fare in a cozy diner!

If you like Dennis or IHOP but want quality and tasty food this is the place. This is the type of place locals come to. Great food and quality. If you come early there is no wait time. We get here before 8 am and we never have to wait. We keep our order very simple and it’s still tasty and filling. Prices are also reasonable. Staff has been pleasant. And facility is clean and well kept.

Decided to come here for the 1st time, never heard of this place before and was just searching for a breakfast spot to go and eat at near by. This place did not disappoint, getting there I had no idea how busy it was going to be but I really enjoyed the atmosphere, the staff was very friendly and took care of me, the quality of food was great and felt it was fairly priced compared to other restaurants like iHop or Dennys who have NOTHING on this place. Hands down one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in a very long time. Keep up the great work! I will be coming back here in the future.

Great local spot. The locals are all known by name. As visitors, we still got fair attention. The pancakes are great, though they have a full menu. It's a bit tight as it gets busy, but if you want pancakes it's worth it.

Love this place… the almond French toast is heavenly. Their delivery is ahhhmaazing…. My food is delivered fast and it’s still hot by time I get it. I get to enjoy my food 😌 today I had the bacon breakfast burrito with home fries and it was heavenly.

Met a friend here. Food was excellent. I learned it used to be owned by Greeks. I'm a Greek. I love this a place now. Breakfast good.

The place has the right name. I had 3 eggs over medium with ham and corn tortillas. GREAT!!! Service was prompt, order came in less than 5 minutes. Everything is fresh and cooked to perfection. Salsa was mild and made the eggs into a gourmet dish. This is THE breakfast place in San Fernando.

The potatoes were good fruit on the pancakes 😋 you only have 45 mint to eat so you can leave space for another person to eat it gets pretty busy 😁 my brother took us here we from Fresno CA and my sister from Las Vegas was a nice gathering 🥰

Speechless, hands down an awesome mom's and pop's restaurant with an amazing gourmet taste. The Chef is absolutely fabulous. Don't get discouraged that this restaurant is in San Fernando, their quality and taste surpasses many restaurants in the valley. Their Sweet Potato pancakes literally melt in your mouth. The pasta is just phenomenal, their chorizo and eggs, mama Mia it is fabulous. Wait, almost forgot to mention their Salmon, boy oh boy the salmon is off the hook. Enjoy your meal

Satisfies your pancake cravings. Gets busy on the weekends, as with all excellent breakfast establishments. Love this place.

The wait was worth it. Service was amazing. Our server was very attentive and patient. Food was... Heavenly delicious. Been living in the Valley all my life but it was my first time here. Definitely won't be the last. Thank you HP!
