The coffee spot is cozy, with soothing background music and a relaxing atmosphere. Both the cold brew and black coffee were delightful. The waffles exceeded expectations, and the ham and cheese jalapeno panini made for a delicious breakfast sandwich. I'll definitely be returning for another coffee and breakfast experience.

This new coffee shop is great!! I loooove the photogenic peony decal and the kind employees. The latte was great too and they were kind enough to make it with my diet shake so I could drink it. It was a good place to get work done, however there are only a few outlets so bring an extension cord. Other than that everything was great!

This is my fiances favorite coffee shop in Cerritos. She actually orders from them almost everyday and will order two drinks. One for morning and one for the afternoon . The chagachino is delicious and of you are health conscious is a good alternative to a sugary drink. My fiance always gets the lavender milk tea with oat milk and their chai latte with oat milk. The avocado toast and breakfast burritos are really good as well. Oh and the banana pudding is stupid delicious. But my favorite thing is that they pay a lot of attention to service and their regulars. We always pickup with our shiba inu or on some days have door dash to deliver. I will post a small picture of what one of the barista's wrote on my fiance's cup. It's the small touches that mean the world to us.

My sister and I came here at 8am for an early breakfast. We got the avocado toast with egg, matcha waffle, and lavender latte. The avocado toast was very fresh and the matcha waffle was fluffy and not too sweet! Definitely would recommend coming here for their food and cute atmosphere.

Chaga drinks and the matcha waffle are highly recommended, but hopefully they’ll use non-disposable utensils for dine in guests.

Ashley gave me Superstar customer service!!!! Food and drinks out of this 🌎 world . I have the 🌺 hibiscus tea , lavender milk tea with avocado toast and churro waffle. So glad l came here. Highly recommend to family and friends. Will be back soon.

This place has delicious banana pudding typically sells out. I got myself a cold brew with toffee nut, another delicious one they have is the earl gray vanilla latte.

The Honey Oat iced coffee is my new favorite! The pumpkin spice is my old favorite. The barista’s that helped me today were super cool!

My new favorite hidden spot! They serve quality coffee but also have a wider variety of drinks than most coffee shops do. And toasts. The staff was really friendly too! Definitely going to come back to try something else on the menu.

Very nice vibe, with an easy to choose menu. Ask your barista if you do not understand or would like a better idea on what to get. Caramel latte and nitro cold brew were great. Well be back whenever in the area. Overall great spot for great coffee and other café specialties.

This place was definitely made to capture the attention of young adults and teenagers. The environment was enticing enough to take multiple pictures of my food. The food was great but the seating area was quite small.i would come back for the toast and lattes.

Menu not extensive but what they have is great! I liked that the Thai iced tea wasn’t sweet. Matcha waffle w ice cream = highly recommended.

I ordered the the Avocado Toast and Dragon Well Tea via Doordash as a special delivery for my boyfriend who works in Buena Park. I contacted Roots Cafe by phone before the order was delivered to ensure that a hand-written message make it into the delivery bag, and that the Doordash driver was provided with more detailed delivery instructions (as I was unable to provide them in Doordash). Everything turned out perfect!!! And, according to my boyfriend, the food and drink were "to die for!".

Awesome sandwiches! The ham, cheese, and jalapeño Panini is on point! Not to mention the churro waffle. This is a great spot with a good ambiance. Highly recommend!
