Second time now, owner Larry has exceeded his claim. The last time, he proved himself to be a man of integrity, so I didn’t hesitate today when he suggested we try a new form of food for my Pom Ernie. Mind you, at first I chuckled at the price of the freeze-dried food, wandering the store on my own, but Larry knows what he sells. Conversation led us right to those bags! I took the bag home, added a small amount to his normal kibble for a safe tummy transition, hydrated it for the suggested ten minutes and — for the first time in his nine years — he ate a full bowl of food without hesitation! Normally, he eats when hungry from his food ball and doesn’t touch food in his bowl. Remarkable. As mentioned to Larry, he’s gonna’ change Ernie’s life! Ya’ just can’t get this kind of priceless neighborly advice from an online vendor. Of course, we can get reviews, and seller advice, but supporting the local pet shop has never failed or disappointed me.Thank you, Larry!

Larry was very helpful getting my picky eater Chihuahua to find something she would eat and is still nutritious for her that we don't have to cook for her! She's 14 and missing all but 6 teeth, so she was only eating sweet potatoes and baked chicken.

Without getting fancy, they just get it right. Thank you for saving my dog’s life when the extremely expensive vets could do nothing to assist. Great store with high end products that will keep your animal family member very happy and healthy. If there's an issue your facing, Larry's and Megan's guidance will surely resolve your pet's ailment. They are both very knowledgeable and will explain why these products are best in simple terms. I was so enlightened after hearing them explain things. It is rare to see people that have so much passion for animal health and well being. Larry has 2 dogs and Megan has a whole "zoo" , dogs, cat, bird, horses, turtles, and etc (forget LA Zoo people, just pay admission to see her home). They will make you feel at home when you come in. They have a few birds for sell now.

We have been going to Loves Pets for over 15 years for all of our canine needs. Larry,the owner, is extremely knowledgeable on everything related to dogs and has steered us in the right direction and helped us to resolve a multitude of issues over the last 15 years. In fact, we moved out of the Agoura area to encino several years ago and continue to go to Loves (an approximate 10+ mile drive) due to the excellent service, knowledge and wide array of top quality products in the store. Loves is infinitely superior to both the chain pet stores and independent pet stores in the greater Los Angeles area! Loves has been essential in providing us what we needed to care for the 4 dogs we have had since first finding this wonderful pet store.

Old-fashioned, friendly, and personal customer service. I never write reviews but I had to go out of my way to give this family-owned pet store 5 stars. I went in to buy a specific brand of pet food because my dog was recently diagnosed with cancer. Although the owner did not have the specific brand (which is understandable, as it is an obscure brand), he kindly recommended a comparable brand and even gave me a free sample to try before buying. He was genuinely empathetic about my dog and I appreciate his efforts to assist me. I will continue to go to this pet store.

The owner Larry and his staff are incredible! They answer all my questions about care, happy to give samples of food for my picky pooches, and the love for animals is palatable! I love going here to pick up the best dog food, and the array of treats is unparalleled!!! In love with Larry, his staff and the whole store!

Recently moved into the Agoura Hills area from Calabasas. I had been getting feeder mice and crickets from a mom and pop shop in West Hills but the drive was just becoming too much. I wanted to stick with a small shop in order to support local businesses and Love's Pets came highly recommended from those in the area.

They carry both crickets for my tarantula and feeder mice for my ball python and at a great price! The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about an array of pets and supplies. Very happy I found this gem.

I have been a customer of Love's Pets for more than three years now. They stock first class dog foods and provide excellent guidance in selecting other products for other pets' needs.

Our GSD's were both adopted, and one suffered severe abuse which likely included the absence of vet care. In spite if their shaky beginning, they look great, have loads of energy, and play through the day. We estimate their ages at 9 and 7.

The owner, Larry, is value oriented, so he will watch out for your wallet as well as your pet. He is always in the market searching for new products to care for your pet.

Awesome customer service and it is super cool to go into a store and the owner is there to help you! Will be going back in the future even though Love's Pet is a little further away from my home. Very helpful & informative staff with a small town atmosphere in the store. I love how I can shop for my bunny, my dog & cat - without a sales associate following me around, trying to upsell me on superfluous items that I'd more than likely never use.
I love how they give me food samples for my dog and cat when my furbabies decide they want to be picky! Larry and Kam are fantastic and have helped me feed my pets the best & only the best, which has seriously changed my pets lives for the better. Thanks guys!

I’ve never owned a pet but I looked online to see what pets are safe for someone who’s allergic to cats, dogs, rabbits, and horses. Finding out I’m allergic really made me sad. Is there and of the animals mentioned above that someone who is allergic can have? Please get back to me. I wanna be prepared for the future.

Larry has advised me for 15 years and has better product free samples and great advice my Maltese loves the chicken and pea dry food best ever he stared at me for 10 minutes after the sample so he picked it!
