We went for their soft opening. You sit down and order your food from a QR code. The server brings out your food and drink orders. The popcorn chicken was excellent. The hot pots were very good as well. They also come with free rice and a tea drink.

When I need my sweet drink fix, I come here. My daughter got the Brown Sugar Milk tea & I tried the Coffee w/chocolate drizzle. The Vietnamese Coffee is my regular Go To & the Taro latte is delicious, too!

Variety is the Spice of life. Make it Wicked!

*Social Distancing Review*

The Wicked Spice recently opened up during the inopportune time of lockdown. A great way to bring people in? BOGO 1/2 off!

My mom wanted Thai tea w/ boba, while I decided upon Vietnamese coffee. Asking for easy sugar, no ice on both, I was informed the Vietnamese coffee couldn't be adjusted for sweetness. So, pulling an audible, I went with taro latte.

First thing I noticed upon receiving our drinks were the tall plastic cups. Complete w/ pre-fabricated lids & not the plastic seals which customers puncture with their straws, this was a more modern presentation. As for the drinks, the taro latte was made with powder, and not actual taro. I'm not faulting Wicked Spice for that, though. The taste reminded me of something long back from my childhood - strawberry Quik, which is now known as Nesquik. I hearkened back to the time of popping open the metal lid and scooping a few heaping spoonfuls of the sugary stuff. I enjoyed my flight of reminiscence, and easy sugar was just right for me. My mom said her Thai tea was good & the boba was just right.

Service was great. I was literally in & out of there in no time. Parking is via a shared lot at the Artesia Town Centre, and can be hard to come by during peak hours. The Wicked Spice is located at the old location of Tea Station, on the right of Cha2O & Dandy Fine Ice Cream.

The Wicked Spice is wicked nice, on the tastebuds & the wallet! Boba tea shops are a dime a dozen in the area, but the Wicked Spice conjures up a few tricks from it's cauldron to differentiate themselves from the pack. Tall, hipster-esque cups, an inviting interior & refreshing drinks to satisfy all palates, the Wicked Spice is a great option for those looking to quench their thirst. BOGO 1/2 off is for a limited time only, so I suggest everyone jump on that now!

Highly recommend!

This place used to be Ten Rens. With a lot of hot pot spots popping up, we decided to try this place out. It's spacious and really clean around the dining area... not so much the bathrooms. Gross. Really nice staff.

They have an interesting concept of ordering. You need to scan the QR code just to view the menu and sign up. You also end up paying through that scanned code, too. Be sure you have a phone, or you can't order.

On to the food.... we ordered a house special, Japanese miso, and masago fish balls. It came out piping hot. Okay, honestly, I was underwhelmed with their broth. It was really bland, and it lacked flavor. Definitely lots of MSG because we were instantly hit with food coma. LOL.

Pricewise, it's a good spot to try if you're new to eating hot pot and want a bargain. I've definitely had better hot pot and will probably go back to my usual place and pay more.

This review is for the boba only.

Based off the good reviews I decided to give this place a try. I ordered a Thai tea with boba. This was one of the worst thai tea's I've ever had. First off, they use thai tea powder.... it's not even real thai tea. It was the most artificial taste you can get plus a ton of sugar. Nasty stuff. Plus they gave me a "Just Boba" cup so nothing like the pictures advertised. I should have asked if they make their own thai tee, lesson learned.

At least the vibe is great and the person helping me was nice.

Since they dont brew thier thai tea, not sure what to expect for the other teas. Would not come back after this experience.
