My tooth needed a root canal retreatment due to my previous doctor who didn't do a good job with the root canal. My tooth got infected, and a piece of the tool broke off inside it which lead to that infection without my knowledge. An abscess formed and remained there for years. On my first visit to Root Vision, they showed me the damage that was done to my tooth and offered me two options; attempt at a retreatment of the tooth which had 50% - 60% of chance to be successful ( kinda hopeless due the challenge of working around the stuck tool), or extract the tooth. I put my faith in them and went with the first option.

Dr. Lo-Shen Chen performed a miracle that day! Not only was he able to thoroughly clean and disinfect my tooth, but was also able to remove that broken tool! In addition, he was super friendly and walked me through the process clearly.

It's true that the service is a bit expensive, but it's absolutely worth it! At least you'll walk out knowing that they've performed on you the best treatment that can be done. I Highly recommend!

I waited a long time to repair my resorbed incisor and my endodontist wanted to pull it. My oral surgeon wanted to put cadaver bone in after pulling it to get ready for an implant. I got a second opinion with Dr.Nugent at RootVision Endo and with the 3D imaging camera said it could be saved with a root canal followed by putting permanent cement into the sizable hole in the root. So far, so good. I like the state of the art facility and Dr. Nugent's knowledge, professionalism and confidence. I hope it lasts a long time, but also understand that it might resorb again at some point.

My experience with RootVision was awesome. I have never been a fan of going to see the dentist; although the environment at RootVision was very comforting along with the staff. I was thoroughly impressed with the state of the art technology and their professionalism. I recommend RootVision to anyone that needs to have a root canal procedure.

OMGEEEE! My recent visit to RootVision was surprisingly painless and welcoming. Based on past experiences at other Dental offices, I was expecting a lot of pain and me cringing at the sight/thought of a long pointy needle. But my visit was effortless. Thank you Root Vision and I hope I don't ever see you again because that would mean I need another Root Canal. But if anyone can do my Root Canal is you guys! Kudos to staff for being so comforting to me.

I came in for a double root canal and was thoroughly impressed with this place. Everybody from the receptionist to the assistants to Dr. Nugent, who performed the root canal, were incredibly friendly and professional. He was very clear in his communication and was able to finish the procedure in an hour and a half. It's a newer facility so the equipment and space are state of the art. Definitely recommend!

Absolutely great experience! Staff is very friendly and welcoming. The dentist explained everything in detail and made me feel calm. I was in pain and they scheduled me right away. I was there because he had to redo a root canal that another dentist did not do correctly, I wish I would have come here from the beginning. I recommend 100%!

Best endodontist I've ever been to. Had it done in an hour and painlessly. I need a root canal right now and I got denied by Medi-Cal. I'm appealing but I don't know if I can stand the pain long enough to wait for the outcome. If I have to take care credit I'm coming to Dr. Nugent. Then I will have to fight with Medi-Cal for reimbursement as they have denied a medically necessary treatment. Then you go to the State Hearing California appeals division if you're denied. F y i

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The doctor spent a lot of time explaining every aspect of the procedure and there was minimal discomfort, considering how intrusive a root canal is.

My root canal procedure went really well. I had little to zero discomfort during the procedure. The staff were nice and friendly and Dr.Nugent was very informative. Would highly recommend going here for a root canal.

This was a great experience and Hareem Kim who did my root canal was very good! You might not say this about having a root canal but after my mouth was numb the surgery only took about 10-15 minutes. I definitely recommend them!

The doctors and nurses and assistants at RootVision Endo were courteous, friendly, efficient and professional. I felt totally comfortable, in good hands, and my root canal went smoothly and flawlessly. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of their services!

I love this place the staff are super friendly and want to help you in any way they can. The location has parking in the back of the building which was nice so I didn’t have to pay for a meter !! The style, modern decor, and up-to-date technology were amazing exceeded my expectations. I had been in pain for a couple of weeks when I visited my normal dentist for a deep cavity filling, a couple of days later was still in pain and was given a referral to visit Rootvision Endo for a root canal! Dr. Mark Nugent was so informative and told me what was going to happen and what to expect, he also listened to me when I told him I always have had a hard time getting my bottom teeth numb with every dentist office that he took every step to make sure I was numb and felt no pain during the procedure. It has been 4 days since the procedure and I am currently still in some pain and my tooth is still tender but that is to be expected I called them to make sure what I was feeling was normal and it was and they assured me if I ever needed them or anything they are here for me !!! I wish I could give them 1000 stars I just love this place . To be continued

I know. It's not easy to give five stars to a root canal experience. This place really impressed me, though, from the moment I called to make an appointment through the super-personable Hareem. The space feels very new and clean and state-of-the-art. Dr. Nugent was warm and kind and thorough in explaining the procedure beforehand, and he is a highly skilled and steady-handed endodontist. All of the staff were friendly and courteous. The procedure was virtually painless. Highly recommended!

I never had root canal before and it was determined I would have to have two. My regular dentist recommended them to me and I want to pay it forward by recommending them to every one. Hareem was kind and very patient in explaining the process of whats to come and even worked with my insurance to save where I could. The dental assistants made me feel calm and relaxed while Dr. Nugent gave me no worries as he talked me through my x-rays, the procedures and what my best options would be. The two root canals were done efficiently and effectively to where my regular dentist saw the xrays from Rootvision and said "They did a wonderful job."

As someone who suffers from dental anxiety, I was very worried when I was referred here for two root canals, probably due to the fact that I hadn't had any dental work done in a very long time. Little did I know, I really had nothing to worry about.

Upon first entering the building, the reception area was very open and clean looking. Hareem at the front desk was busy helping another patient when I walked in, but he immediately acknowledged my presence and said he would be right with me. I filled out necessary paperwork as a new patient and was brought back to have xrays done and confirm that root canal was the best way to proceed.

I was visibly nervous when I met Dr. Nugent, but he was very reassuring and professional while explaining what needed to happen and why. After deciding to get both root canals done that day, Hareem broke down the costs and the procedure was under way. I was really surprised by how well things went. Dr. Nugent and his assistant worked very efficiently together to get things done. I didn't feel anything during the procedure and even in the days after, it wasn't anything a few tylenol didn't help with.

I had a very positive experience here. Everyone I encountered was kind, knowledgeable, and professional. I would recommend Rootvision Endo to anyone in need of their services. Rather than brush off my anxiety, they acknowledged it and helped me push past it. Thank you!

I'm always extremely anxious before dental procedures, but the great team here was very comforting, which helped with the anxiety.

They were also super informative when it came to potential alternatives, including any associated risks and corresponding insurance information.

On March 8th 2021 I had an appointment with RootVision in Culver City, CA. for a root canal, I am such a dental chicken however pain overrides all fear. Upon arriving at the office I was overwhelmed with a comfortable feeling, cleanness and such politeness from the young man at the front desk (Hareem) the work done on me was amazing quick with no pain from the root canal. (Needles always frighten me so enough on that). Dr. Nuguen was so caring and gentle, such a delightful dentist with genuine consideration of my total experience there, his assist was so kind she made sure of my comfort as well, over all my experience there was the best ever. If I ever need another root canal I will only go there. Just make sure you listen carefully to exactly, what all is being done to you; so any extra charges that may occur is no surprise. Otherwise they are the best I have ever encountered on this planet and I have had several root canals done over the years. I highly recommend RootVision for all Root Canal work.

Dr. Nugent and the staff did a fantastic job on my procedure. Additionally, they were professional, explained clearly what would happen during and afterwards, and ensured that I was comfortable throughout my time there. Hareem at the front desk did an excellent job of explaining my financial responsibility given my insurance. It is also worth noting that the facility is immaculately kept, which inspires confidence in the staffs' commitment to patients' health and safety.

I was recently fit-in the same afternoon for a root canal and was extremely happy with the endodontist, assistants and receptionist — all of whom were terrific. Really nice new office too! Procedure seems to have gone very well 🤞🤞🤞 Highly recommend.
