Driven by this little gem for a very long time. Very pleased we decided to stop here for the very 1st time. Food order arrived very quick. Staff was friendly. You're able to order and take out. Food was delicious, will definitely eat here again!

First time here and so glad we stopped to try it!
We arrived about a half hour before they closed but they never made us feel like we had to hurry. Even after they closed, the staff sat down and ate, which was nice because they still didn’t say we had to leave.
The food was quick to come out and it was delicious!
The prices are very reasonable. You get large enough portions to share. We will definitely be back to try their other dishes!

The service is very nice and hospitable. The food is thoroughly cooked, very tasty, and brought out promptly. A nice place to sit down for lunch or an early dinner.

The owners offer the best treatment you can receive. You will be treated like royalty and the food is very well prepared.

Best American Chinese food in the Walnut valley area.

This place literally has some of my favorite food. The gals are extremely efficient and kind. I come here at least once per month for lunch. My favorite is the Kung Pao Chicken.

This is great for quick, good, food that’s a good value. We usually get the chow fun and sizzling rice soup because I’m the kids love it. We have also had Mapo tofu, beef & broccoli, and other dishes. Everybody is always satisfied. I’ve only ever done take-out.

I've always passed by this place going headed towards Rowland heights for Asian food and never bothered to stop by. Well, I stopped by and was not disappointed. A small ma and pa shop located in an industrial area. Price is affordable and food was good. Very nostalgic

We really like Walnut Tree! Food is great. Take out or dining in Food is made fresh to order. Went once and watched waitresses cleaning fresh green beans. Not fancy but comfortable & yummy. Usually have lots to take home.

Love this place. I've been a loyal wonton soup customer 5 years now. It's affordable and fresh. But they don't have much space if you're in the mood to dine-in. Overall, I highly recommend

We order take out here at least a couple times per month. They have a wonderful selection of items and prices are extremely reasonable with generous portions. Never had a bad meal - always fresh and tasty and we've been coming here for about 7 years.

40+ years a fan! This is a favorite among locals. Their chicken salad is my go-to, has been since late 80s. I like to order a few and get everything on the side so I can put it together fresh the next day. It's still just as delicious. I used to work just over the railroad tracks up the street on Lemon Avenue at what used to be Walnut Recreation. The entire staff ordered the same thing almost every day. Good times. Many cried when the original owners retired, but the new owners finally got it right and perfected it a while back and it's just as good. My review could have been written by hundreds or thousands of locals, I always see someone I know from way back when. My sister worked with them a long time ago, too. I've moved a little further away and make sure I satisfy my yearnings for Walnut Tree. My brother Dennis loves the pepper beef. My husband loves the wonton soup, which is gorgeous. Seriously, it turns heads whenever I go to pick it up. My problem is I don't get to try everything because I order the same thing! The orange chicken is great, too. Egg rolls are handmade with the freshest ingredients. Seriously, my mouth is watering just writing this, must make a visit soooooon! Thank you Walnut Tree Restaurant.

Been going here for years. Very consistent excellent food with generous portions. Have both take out and dine in.

The food here is delicious. They have a great variety of proteins that you can pick from and the prices are very reasonable and service is superb.

It's a hidden gem i have frequently gone here the food is always the same service good wor wangtan soup fry rice the best but so it's evwrything else i was only 20 when i went there im going to be 60 now and still stop by when in the area i think i will go there for my 60s to celebrate.
