VCA College Park - Ana Brook Animal Hospital

Thanks to Dr. Grove and her amazing staff for taking care of our nervous chihuahua! We left the area several years ago but haven't been able to find a comparable veterinarian. After a few bad experiences near our new home we finally came back to the caring Dr. Grove. It was definitely worth the 2 hour drive!!

*Update* I actually got a handwritten card in the mail from the staff members at VCA. It was so sweet and thoughtful. When we're ready for a new family member, we'll bring them back here cause I know it'll be the best care.

Don't know why they have such bad recent reviews. I think the vet and people at the front desk have always been nice and friendly. We've been coming here for the past year to make my pup's last year comfortable. They've been more than kind. The only thing I was saddened by was when I let them know she had passed I was hoping the vet would reach out since she was very involved with everything. But it's okay. We still really liked this clinic.

I don't post a lot of reviews but they really deserve one and 5 stars! We recently moved in to the area and finding this great animal clinic is such a blessing. The staff are so kind and you can really feel that they love animals. We love Nina and Dr Grove! Even our newest dog, Nemo, who is really wary of strangers, warmed up to them in no time.

This place was okay although I now have another place I go to and love.

I received a response regarding the first sentence above as to if I have any concerns even though it has been 10 yrs that I went there to please contact them so they could gain my confidence again. My apologies. It does seem like I made it seem I went there (recently) but dumped them. I don't have any issues with them. I took a lot of my most beloved cats there and never felt they held back in proper care. In my haste I did mention I go elsewhere now like I wasn't happy with VCA, but actually it is only because VCA -Ana Brook is a bit expensive so that is why I stopped going years ago. Would I recommend this place - YES. I never felt that I did not get the best care for my pets who own my heart. I guess if it has been over 5 years I should not rate. So as far as care for pets when I was going there, yes they get a 5 star.

From the moment I walked in the door my dog got nothing but loves from all of the employees. They were very helpful as we are new to the area. The vet was down on the ground making my dog feel comfortable as she checked her out. The whole place just seems like such a fun place to be around. Will definitely be staying with this office!

I really appreciate how Dr. Grove sits down and gets to know your pet. You’d be hard pressed to find a more compassionate and kind vet. The front staff and vets communicate their concerns very well. They have been there to recommend emergency care to us for weekend emergencies as well. We love our vet!

Best animal care we have found in 30 years! Staff is fantastic with our pets and Dr. Grove really has a heart when it comes to treating our baby's!!!! If you have been looking for a "forever Vet" give these folks a try and i think you'll be very pleased!

We felt very comfortable at VCA, as they were all professional, compassionate, and attentive to our dog Petey, who needed surgery, (and his worried parents!) 😓😓

The pricing was fair, we were given options for treatment, and kept informed throughout the day of surgery. We had a positive outcome, and will take our other pets to VCA!

Staff is careful and they love animals. Dr. Grove is the best! We tried 3 other animal hospitals before receiving a referral to Dr. Grove - she's knowledgeable, interested in sharing information, follow up is exceptional!

This place it’s the best . I took my cat there. the staff it’s so attentive and i really felt welcome. from the minute I was inside I know this is the place for my babies the doctor are so kind and they make you feel secure. They are really helpful in all the question you ask, totally recommend this place for your love ones. thanks again for the care you give to all animals.

VCA College Park and Dr. Sable have been fantastic! She's very honest and thorough. The staff are very friendly. They will offer products but don't push them and provide you with options when you need them. Definitely making them our default place now!

I really love this place my dog is a sweet dog but with strangers his anxiety pikes up and he becomes aggressive i always hated going to vets because how the workers treated my dog and how my dog would act
But when i came here for his allergies the workers were so sweet even tho he had a muzzle on they were like “aww” and they treated him so gently and kindly they backed off and knew their distance.
When it came time for his shots i got in my usual position where i have to hold my dog down but they looked at me like i was crazy and were like oh no we got this. Which had me surprised because vets would always have me hold him down. Afterwards they recommended anxiety medication and gave me pamphlets about fear aggression and i appreciate them so much. Its really the best place to bring your pets especially if they're aggressive they don’t treat them like monsters. I just remember afterwards crying because people don't understand how much it means to me to see my dog as oh he's aggressive because he's scared not thats a terrible dog.

The new vet is absolutely wonderful. His staff are terrific, they are all very nice, helpful. Friendly, cheerful and professional.

Love love love this vet!! They treat my animals like their own! Always making sure they are well taken care of and happy! Staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend this VCA!

I took my cat there after one of his eyes was crying a lot and he was sneezing a lot. They were so helpful and explained everything to me they gave me some ointment for his eye and reassured me that he was going to be fine. Now I am a member and if anything happens to my furry baby I know the first place to go VCA anima hospital.

The receptionist and vet tech were very nice and friendly. The vet informed us of all of options and which course of action was best for our doggy Leo. We will definitely be coming back for all his vet needs.

They are really concerned about every pet they have. I had found a lost dog and we called him Nemo initially (based on the movie, Finding Nemo) 😂 and they helped and encouraged me to find his owner. Two weeks later, unfortunately, he didn't see his real owner. 😥 But he officially became ours. And now, VCA College Park genuinely takes care of him and makes sure Nemo is okay. All the staff are good and nice! He looks a better and a healthier dog now. God bless everyone.

Nurses and Drs at VCA were so nice and attentive! Helped Angel be comfortable and get through it with no problem! Even gave us a Goodie bag for being a new patient 😊

Dr. Grove was very sympathetic and kind, they whole staff very loving towards me and my Gabby when it was her time to cross the Rainbow Bridge. Thank you. Ill recommend you.
