Heavenly Couture

A mixed experience. The cashier was friendly and helpful, the clothes were very cute and I loved the fact that I could actually afford them. However.. the following day I wore a Maxi dress that I had purchased from there, and not only did I discover when I put it on that the top section of it had been sewn on inside out (not that noticeable but there was still a piece of tag sticking out from the stitching that gave it away, and then I noticed the color was slightly lighter on the outside than the inside), but then it fell apart as I was wearing it! We were out to breakfast and I dropped a spoon and when I went to pick it up, one of the straps snapped off. I realized that the loops holding the strap to the body of the dress in the back were just plastic. Thankfully I was able to borrow some metal rings from an old wallet I had with me and I replaced the broken loop and continued wearing the dress. 20 minutes later, the other loop snapped, and I replaced it as well. Finally, the little strap-adjuster piece broke as well (it was also plastic) and I was just completely disappointed at that point. I would have considered returning it, but we're not from town. On the other hand, I got a pair of $8 sunglasses from there, and they've served me very well after 3 days of use. So, like I said, mixed feelings.

$16 everything store! Clothing only but there is a lot. That's really cheap for clothes and there's a big variety. Obviously you have to check for the good stuff but there are some gems here that I've loved. I've found maxi dresses with colorful beads that could've been $25 anywhere else. Great place to browse through.

It's fun to peruse and even better when you walk across and see things marked up 2-3x elsewhere.
