Kaiser Permanente West Los Angeles Medical Center

Kaiser did a really wonderful job caring for me and my baby. They made every effort to keep us comfortable and keep us informed. The nurses were competent, kind and very responsive, and we left the hospital feeling as confident as new parents can feel under the circumstances. We were very impressed with the facilities, team and staff, who took care of us at the most tender and vulnerable experience of our lives.

Today my daughter had an X-Ray done at Kaiser
. She pregnant with my first Grandbaby and she was very gentle and caring. The baby was in a position that was hard to view, but she tried so very hard. Without hurting my daughter’s baby. We felt very comfortable with the Lab tech

Nurse Darr was so kind and considerate. We talked about our children as I waited for Dr Benton. It was nice to talk to a nice person in a Drs office. People are always rushed but she was nice enough to make time to talk to me. It made me feel valued. Dr Benton was nice and asked three times if I had any questions. He did not try to rush the visit and had good information to share. Excellent team ❤👊🏾

Dr. Hemmati were very thorough in examining my wrist making sure it didn’t hurt that much. Explained and showed me what could be the cause and referred me to Orthopedic and Occupational therapy for further evaluation and Nurse Susana explained and scheduled me right away for occupational and orthopedic to see a specialist and therapist. I definitely recommend their office. Thank you so much Dr. Hemmati and Nurse Susana.

I’ve recently had an appointment with Ambika Bhat, M.D.,Physical Medicine, wonderful pain whisperer. She was professional and to the point. She knew my history, and zeroed in on the exact problem. Great referrals and suggestions on how to relieve pain and be on the road to therapy and healing. Nurse Jessica was so professional, and had a very kind voice. She was attentive and explained what will occur on this visit, and printed out proper information that I needed for referral appointments.

Doctor Zibari is the best doctor ever! He’s been my doctor since i was born, and now I'm 18! Hes very caring and understanding. He has a lot of knowledge and is very patient . He is always caring himself with a smile and always makes me feel good about myself. He gives me his undivided attention and time. When i call for a question or concern, he answers immediately. I recommend him as a doctor! He is the best in kaiser!

We met Dr. Yosef Zibari 25 years ago when our daughter was born and was in NICU. Dr. Zibari was the doctor on call one night when we had questions about what was going on, and he calmly and patiently answered all of them for us. It was at that moment we decided we had found our pediatrician. When our daughter got older she switched to a female doctor, but we were still going to Dr. Zibari with our son.

This past month, our son had his annual physical with Dr. Zibari and we all realized that this would the last annual physical our 17 year old son would be having with Dr. Zibari since he would not be coming to the pediatric department next year.

We spoke about it with melancholy as well as appreciation. It's kind of like we've had a small town family doctor all this time, even though we're in a big city and Kaiser is a big place. Dr. Zibari has always been as calm and patient as when we first met him. He never made us feel rushed in an appointment and answered all our questions and addressed any concerns we had. He has always been clearly interested in the overall well-being of our children.

We feel fortunate to have found Dr. Zibari in the NICU all those years ago.

I had my baby at WLA and would highly recommend it to any new mama. I was extremely well taken care of. Nurses and doctors are amazing.

Dr. Hemmati is very attentive, listens carefully and offered additional solutions to help with current pain in my lower back. Dr. Hemmati’s nurse Susy was also very helpful and supportive. I’ve decided to take an interest in alternative pain control, especially since what was once offered freely (pain medicine) is now persona non grata.

So much attention to detail. I was treated extremely well. My nurses were above and beyond and delivered excellent care. Jojo, Juan and Raphael especially were outstanding.

Thank you to Sariah Beeby, RN for your assistance today. I appreciate your time and patience in getting a same day appointment for my father today. He is doing great this morning and following your post office orders. We appreciate your kindness and timely response to both my emails and phone messages.

Kaiser Permanente is known for being the "one-stop" insurance-provider hospital system. And it is convenient. You have to research who your practitioners are because they vary. I am 98% thrilled with the care, the diagnosis and the treatment for my auto-immune condition, myasthenia gravis. My brilliant neurologist, Dr. Paul Kazimiroff not only diagnosed me but made sure I had the laparoscopic surgery (De. Lee) that turned my condition around. His department is stellar and these are photos from last week. They make you feel special and cared for and that is all part of adding to health.

The mail order is also fantastic! If you have to go to the pharmacy, go at night.

I delivered 3 babies at Kaiser WLA. The best care and support from doctors and staff. Dr. Kivnick is the best!
I recently had another procedure. I was able to get an appt when I wanted and the doctors followed up to make sure I was ok afterwards. So happy with KP care

Doctor Fu is an outstanding physician. He's very clear in any procedure that he does. He makes the patient feel comfortable. He's a joy in all aspects of medicine from the prescription to the procedure to the outcome. Kaiser should be honored to have this gentleman on their staff.

We had an incredible experience at Kaiser West LA welcoming our first child. The staff was so respectful of our birth plan and did everything in their power to make it a reality. We were so impressed by the kindness and attentiveness of the staff in Labor and Delivery. If we were to do it all over again, we would chose Kaiser West LA in a heartbeat.

Surprised that the level of care at an HMO could be so high! Attentive doctors and nurses. Great follow-through. Not stingy with hospitalization (unlike my prior PPO) when needed.

I am extremely grateful for the amazing, talented people who work at this Kaiser. A close family member of mine recently fell and fractured a right knee, necessitating a visit to the ER. Lisa at check-in and Vanessa at Triage were particularly kind and comforting given the situation and level of pain my family member was in. The pain level was so high that my family member could not stand for x-rays, and Israel and Tomas expertly assisted my family member to lay down so that all necessary x-rays (angles) were taken to ensure accurate diagnosis. Israel and Tomas treated my family member as they would their own - this touched me deeply. Dr. Yeghiazarian had excellent bedside manner, she was sharp and sympathetic, and quickly diagnosed the situation and implemented a plan of action. Manuel perfectly fitted my family member with a knee immobilizer, Kirk, the case manager ordered a walker, and Ashra and Ellie assisted with discharge. Jesus was also comforting and graciously helped with the door upon entrance and exit. Debbie at the pharmacy was quick and kind, and Kesha at Security was super helpful with quickly checking in and out the wheelchair. Thank you all for helping to make a difficult situation navigable and manageable, with your immense kindness, valuable experience and team effort.

Nicholas Davis is the best physical therapist I’ve ever worked with. He studies the patients files and had endless knowledge about our issues and possible questions we may have. I started working with him I was in a wheelchair I progressed to a walker and have now graduated to walking with no assistance

Drs and nurses did an outstanding job. However my bed was very uncomfortable and there was no recliner for the person that was with me during our entire stay(3 days).

Myrna in x-ray/imaging, was able to see to it that I was seen expeditiously after having arrived late to my appointment.
And did so with class and elegance, all while wearing a smile.
