Love them!! I’ve seen Dora PA-C, Dr. Leslie Memsic, Dr. Heather Richardson & Sarah Flood PA-C in my years going to Bedford Breast Center, and they’ve always taken the best care of me. From routine screenings to lump biopsies to counseling, you’re in great hands with the team at Bedford. I just saw Dora today for a lump, and was happy to get good news. They make the whole process as seamless as possible & are very thoughtful in how they inform you of all your choices, empowering you to make informed decisions on your healthcare. 10/10 recommend them!

I first found Bedford breast Center after having to wait a really long time to make an appointment with my network. The minute you walk in there is this calm sense of healing and connection. Today I did a mammogram for the first time after doing annual ultrasounds with Dr. Memsick ( yes a doctor does the ultrasound!) here for extra peace of mind and had the most incredible experience with Carmen. You get a mammogram and a radiologist reads it at that moment! Much is covered by insurance and the price is absolutely affordable. I highly recommend the Bedford breast center for anyone who wants a more human breast prevention or intervention experience.

I received fantastic service from the moment I entered the center. The young women at the front desk greeted me warmly and I was taken back for my mammogram in a short amount of time. No frustrating long wait in the reception area! Carmenita took images quickly and expertly while we had a fun chat. Rosanna did a great job getting ultrasound imagery and I was done before I knew it. Dr. Heather Richardson is warm, extremely experienced, knowledgeable and authoritative. Cannot recommend this talented, skilled, and caring group of women highly enough.

Bedford Breast Center is a top notch, state of the art facility. I have had my mammograms done here for about 4 years and every visit is seamless. The staff is thoughtful and considerate. The women here do their very best to put your mind at ease at what can be, a stressful dr’s visit. One employee truly stands out though and that’s Carmen. She performs the scan and I can’t say enough wonderful things about this woman. She is caring, careful, thoughtful and just a terrific person. I will continue to have my mammograms done here for years to come!

This experience, albeit terrifying at first, was the most incredible from scheduling to ultrasound and mammogram, arranging a biopsy next day (unfortunately) and squeezing me in between patients, and the aftercare was superb. I could have never imagined that the staff would be so friendly and kind. The space is beautiful and clean. It is easy to find. There is a 2 hour free parking lot across the street.
I highly recommend Dora for ultrasound. She's the best!!!! She also performed my biopsy and made sure I wasn't feeling any pain. She followed up to make sure I was feeling ok in the days that followed. She was truly incredible! Everyone here is extremely professional and caring. They made me feel so comfortable and did everything not to hurt me. I couldn't understand why women constantly complain about how painful it is.
I highly recommend them and will definitely be back for all my future care. Thank you so much for being so amazing to me at a time when I was most vulnerable and scared!

Dr Memsic was supremely compassionate and brought humor and confidence to what have could have been much more frightening and daunting. I felt very taken care of by all the staff and had great trust that I was in good hands every step of the way. The followup after my surgery has been impeccable. I would highly recommend the team of Drs Memsic and Killeen!!

I have been dealing with breast issues for many years. I have moved a lot during this time and was always searching for new doctors, searching for new places for imaging, searching for ways to send imaging, needing referrals, and being tossed from one place to the next. I am very familiar with doctor offices, visits, doctors, and the anxiety and stress of it all. Each year, I was suffering from anxiety of the idea of even having a mammogram because of the complicated process and the time it takes to go through the process if they find something that is questionable.

I recently had the pleasure of going to Bedford Breast Center. I am so grateful to have found them. The experience is like none that I have ever had. The front desk team was amazing and helpful from my very first call. I was quickly connected to the Klara app and communication became so easy! I was able to send my previous scans from two other states. I was ready to go upon my arrival.

I had a previous scan that raised some fear. I was scheduled for an appointment for a mammogram, ultrasound, and Dr. Visit all in the same visit. This is such a relief and took away so much worry and anxiety that is felt when dealing with the normal process. Everyone was fantastic and positive from the second I walked in! The mammogram was simple, easy, quick, and positive. The ultrasound was easy and positive in a comforting room.

Dr. Heather Richardson then came in to personally check me and reassure me that she saw nothing alarming. She and the ultrasound tech explained everything and made me a part of what they were seeing and why there was question. She then let me know that my mammogram would be read and she felt that it would confirm everything that she had seen that day. I received a personal note from her on my app a few days later. I am relieved, comforted, and not even nervous about my followup in 6 months because I know that I am in good hands. I know that they will not toss me around. They will help me if the need ever arises and they will take care of me with reassurance with every yearly visit.

Also, I must add that the atmosphere is amazing and comforting. It is a little more like a spa than a cold office. I am so happy that I found this place. If you have anxiety about mammograms, searching for different places for each different thing that you need, going back several times, waiting nervously on results, leaving your visit with worry, being tossed from place to place, or if you have had a scan with scary results, call Bedford Breast Center. It is worth the drive, the traffic, the parking, and the money. At Bedford Breast Center, you will find peace of mind. I am grateful!

Cameron, Dr. Richardson's Patient Care Coordinator, and Fallon, Dr. Cassileth's Patient Care Coordinator, have been my angels throughout this entire process from inquiring about prophylactic surgeries to post-operative care. They guided me through this overwhelming and sometimes emotional journey. Dr. Richardson and Dr. Cassileth are very skilled and progressive surgeons that made me feel understood. They work simultaneously to reduce surgical time under anesthesia. My post-operative care with their wonderful team was incredible and my recovery has been amazing!

I am so grateful for the team at Bedford. Their beautiful space feels like a spa and everyone is so kind and welcoming. Carmen in particular is a phenomenal technician, her skill and expertise make everything quick and easy. I’ve referred everyone I know and they feel the same. This place is a gem, go see them!

Hands down the best experience I’ve had with a mammogram, ultrasound! Carmen made me feel at ease right from the start. She is so great at her job and at same time making you feel safe. Dr Heather Richardson was wonderful right from the start, explaining the process throughout, and making me feel completely at ease during my visit. Both so knowledgeable and very kind!

Dr Richardson and Jesika were everything my mother and I could hope for. Empathetic, knowledgable and professional, they do their work with the grace and understanding you’d hope for during what is often a difficult time for people.

Dr. Heather Richardson was the absolute best breast surgeon I could imagine. She was so caring and compassionate and went above and beyond for me as a cancer patient living out of state. We had Telehealth appointments leading up to surgery, and then she was just as warm and professional in person when I flew to California for pre-op and surgery. When the lymph node biopsy came back unfavorably, she did the right thing and took additional lymph nodes while I was on the surgery table, keeping me from needing future procedures and meticulously notating the areas removed so my oncologists could feel confident her margins were clear. She continues to keep up with me even weeks after the procedure. You will never find a more skilled and personable doctor. I thank God that I found Bedford Breast Center!!

could not have had a better experience really. I went to see a plastic surgeon for implant removal due to leakage of silicon in my lymph nodes. She referred me to a cancer specialist she trusted, and wanted her opinion on if it was safe to have the requested surgery done. I flew in from the Bay Area, and was able to be seen that afternoon, before my trip home. The doctor was extremely nice, very knowledgeable, explained things well, and put our minds to ease. I would highly recommend the Bedford Breast Center. All the staff were extremely nice and friendly. :)

I found out I had breast cancer in spring of 2023. After going to numerous doctors to discuss my case-- I was unsatisfied I had the answers to my concerns and I was still uncomfortable making my decisions on treatment.

A friend of mine recommended Dr Leslie Memsic at Bedford Breast Center. Within the first hour consult every question I had was answered and all my concerns were eased-- I felt heard. I had made up my mind that Dr Memsic was my surgeon.

She is refreshing. She is a strong, unique, passionate and doesn't follow a script. She speaks to YOU and speaks facts. If she doesn't have the facts, she gets them. She also listens and believes/ trusts her patients.

The breast cancer journey is daunting. It changes you. There really isn't a simple way to express the numerous nuances emotional, physical and even logistical. DR Memsic and her whole team made the process much better. I had enough negative medical experiences prior to meeting them to compare it to and these women just stood out.

I had a double mastectomy. For me that's what made sense. It's different for every woman. The surgery and both surgeons, Dr Memsic and DR Killeen (breast reconstruction) were fantastic. The recovery wasn't my best moment in life but honestly I feel this team made it better.

I also had a DTI mastectomy for those that are interested and qualify. It went well. I'm very pleased with the outcome. I'm very grateful for those that dedicate their lives to helping and healing.

Anyone facing breast cancer owes it to themselves to get multiple opinions. I would highly recommend BBC and DR Memsic and DR Killeen as one of those opinions.

If you are reading this review because you are newly diagnosed with cancer-- you will beat this, you are never alone and I promise you it does get better. There is a strong team to talk with at Bedford Breast Center. Remember follow your intuition and do not stop until you feel comfortable that your conversation and questions are satisfied--. You deserve nothing less.
