Delicious food in a retro modern dining room with booths and tables as well as an outdoor patio option.

Don't skip on the appetizers, the chicken papaya quesdilla on corn tortilla was scrumptious, my mouth is watering thinking about it.

It's been years since dinning at Green Street Restaurant. (It was actually on Green Street back then.) Note: The restaurant is on a small street and a little difficult to see the restaurant sign. It is next door to a multi-level parking structure. I had the KALE Dianne Salad. The flavor was exactly how I remembered. (Delicious) The standard serving size was massive. (There is a smaller size option.) The Kale was tender. I took home the remaining salad, which my wife and daughter shared. If you're not a fan of kale, get the original Dianne salad. The Zucchini bread was excellent.

I have been going to this restaurant for decades. But it's been a while.

My sister was in town, so we stopped in for a late lunch.

The food was delicious 😋. And the drinks were good. The service was also very good.

My sister was impressed as this was her first time coming to Green Street restaurant. I know it won't be her last.

Worked in Pasadena for years and would visit often. Haven’t been here for a while BUT was glad to be back. I forgot how generous the portions are. The “lunch” portion of the Dianne salad was still to big to consume in one sitting. Taking half is it home. The zucchini bread is always a hit and got a loaf to take home too. My husband said that his steak sandwich was good, but a portion of the meat was overcooked.

This used to be a family favorite over 15 years ago. Bought the family back for dinner. We had their famous Dianne salad includ the kale version now. Fried were good. The rest was so so. Flat bread and pasta was ok.

We had great food and excellent service for lunch here today. Green street is known for its Dianne Salad. Every time we come here, the salad is always part of our order. Besides the salad, they have amazing food.

For two of us, we got a luncheon Dianne salad and steak. The steak was delectable. It was perfectly cooked to medium just as we asked for and the flavor was amazing. I just love the grilled taste of the meat. It was also very juicy and tender. The price was very reasonable.

The service here was impeccable. Our waiter wasted no time to get us drinks and brought out the delicious complimentary zucchini bread for us. When we found a bone in our salad, he was quick to took up the issue with the manage and gave us a loaf of zucchini bread to compensate us. At the end of our lunch, he got us a tropical ice tea on a to go cup for us to take it on the road, very thoughtful. Now that’s what I call excellent service!

Never disappoints. I tried something on the throwback menu, the chicken salad sandwich. Incredible cranberry raisin bread and a unique chicken salad mix. And always, the zucchini bread.

My friend introduced me to this place more than 6 years and I have been coming for awhile just for the salad!
It’s filling, amazingly tasty (I’m not usually a salad person), and refreshing!!
The salad comes with two pieces of zucchini bread (but it has walnuts in it).

The corn chowder was disappointing (not that tasty), the chicken and papaya quesadilla was pretty good/average, the mexican street corn flatbread was so yummy though!!!

We came on veteran’s day and thankfully had a reservation because it was crazy crowded!! Took forever to wave down someone to take our payment and get boxes. Haven’t seen it this crowded in years!

Found Green Street Restaurant on Google while looking for a place to have lunch in Pasadena. We were served by Joe who took such great care of us. Food was delicious and came out hot, Joe kept our drinks full. Big fan. Will definitely come again next time I’m in Pasadena.

This is a fantastic modern American eatery. Their Dianne salad is balanced perfectly with lots of minced chicken and nuts. Also their Zucchini bread is to die for! Validated parking is available for those dining in as well as a loading zone out front for picking up.

I was there with two friends on January 12th, a Friday, the food was excellent and the wait staff was beyond approach. Our waiter, Josh, was superb.

I was a bit surprised that Green Street was pretty much empty on a Friday night. I have been there numerous times and have never seen it so empty, I was a bit concerned hoping it was just a slow night for them.

Having dined there multiple times I can highly recommend Green Street. You will certainly not be disappointed.

Megan, our server was EXCELLENT! She knew exactly what we needed before we asked! My friend and I ordered the Diane Salad, their signature restaurant salad, and she recommended to order the LARGE, so we could take home any leftovers. She also suggested to have the dressing on the side. She brought over TAKE OUT containers for our extra salad that we probably couldn't finish before our salads arrived. She suggested to put in the salad ( dry) into the plastic TO GO containers first, then put the salad dressing on the rest of the salad in the bowl and enjoy eating at our table. Brilliant suggestion! We also shared the apple goat cheese flatbread as our first course! It was tasty!

The rest of the staff were VERY ATTENTIVE with smiles! We were greeted immediately by three different servers and when we left, everyone said, "Thank you! Please come again!" We left smiling!

Green Street restaurant has a good breakfast selection, and the restaurant was very quiet in the early morning. The portions are really big, and come with zucchini bread, potatoes, or toast. Kaylee was a great server!

This is a great place - stopped in with my son for a celebratory birthday drink and appetizers while waiting for dinner reservations at Sugarfish. Best dirty martini I've had in years. The chicken quesadillas were super fresh and pineapple chunks gave it a zing. And big shout out to Alex, our bartender. You took such great care of us and I SO appreciate you chasing us down to give me my credit card back- so kind. Next time in in area will definitely stop for dinner. And my son loved the zucchini bread!

Love the Green Street Restaurant! Salad Dianne and is so yummy. Great quaint restaurant in downtown Pasadena. Around the holidays I love to purchase their dressing and zucchini bread and give them away has little token gifts. If you haven't tried this place it's worth making the effort to get there!

Cornucopia salad is the best. For a non-dairy option, omit the blue cheese and ask for their citrus dressing. Super tasty

I dropped by after a meeting with a client in the area, and I must say, it was a delightful experience!

- The place offers ample space and a warm, inviting atmosphere.
- Even when dining solo, I felt right at home, but I'm definitely bringing friends along next time I'm in the area.
- I had the pleasure of trying their "spicy ranch water" cocktail, and I can't recommend it enough!
- The Pasadena Steak sandwich was an absolute delight and perfect for those looking for a hearty, satisfying meal.

I have loved Green Street for over 30 years. They have yummy breakfasts, plus the signature Dianne salad is my go to luncheon item. You cannot go wrong, and the wait staff is amazing.
