We recently sold our Los Feliz home with Eileen, Laura, and George and I could not be more pleased with the outcome! George, Eileen and Laura Moreno are just SUPER! We met them in one of their open houses in 2017. We were very impressed with their professionalism and their teamwork. Therefore, when it was time for us to put our house on the market, we had no hesitation in picking the Moreno Group. We used the Moreno Group to sell our Los Feliz townhouse in early 2019. Having grown up in the area I had seen their signs scattered around town for years, but had never met George or Eileen. As the time approached for us to consider listing our place, I decided to drop into an open house to see if they would actually be there, ask questions, etc. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that George was there (not some assistant), and he was very friendly and eager to answer any questions. First impressions like that are crucial.

Once we decided to list with them it was clear that they were 100% committed to getting us the best price possible. It was a somewhat stressful situation (we were building a new house that wasn't quite ready and needed a leaseback), and Eileen, Laura, and George did everything they could to make sure everything went as smoothly as possible. Eileen is EXTREMELY knowledgeable, and will do everything in her power to do the best for her clients. She provided constant updates, suggestions, and communication was all extremely effective. I was impressed with her negotiation skills (she is tactful but firm), and was able to get us everything we needed in order to make the process as smooth as it could be. It honestly felt like she was just as invested in protecting our best interests as we were.

The property ended up selling for over 100k over ask with multiple offers. They did an excellent job marketing and tapping into their personal networks to get us the best price possible. I would have zero reservations recommending them to friends and family in the area. In fact, I trusted them enough to later help my dad purchase a new place in Pasadena. Laura is a miracle worker - she helped us win a bidding war for our dream home at a great price in the midst of this crazy market! I firmly believe that Laura is the best agent in her market and getting to work with her was a joy.

She works with her family (George and Eileen Moreno) and between all of them they have decades of experience selling or buying most of the house worth having in the Los Feliz/Silverlake/Canyon/Handcock neighborhoods. Because if this she knows all of the agents in the area well, which she leveraged to get us inside information to submit the most competitive bids we were comfortable submitting.

Our home search took almost a year since we were so specific on the type of home we wanted and the location. Laura was amazing and patient every step of the way! She found us off market listings and came with us on every tour (50+ tours). She told us to walk away from many places that she thought were either not for us, we'd never get our money out of because they were so overvalued, or because they needed serious fixes. She was right every time. Most agents just want commission so it's rare to find someone who will invest their time with you to find exactly the right home for you.

The seller's agents told us that the only reason we got the house was because Laura was such a amazing agent and negotiator. She helped us win in the bidding war and had a whole roster of excellent inspectors and specialist that she was able to schedule within our short inspection window. When costly repairs were uncovered by those inspections (she attended all of them), she was able to negotiate a substantial sellers credit for us to pay for the fixes despite them having a solid back-up offer. When we closed on the house she welcomed us to our new home with balloons and champagne.
