Ximapa Mexican Food

Came in, and I right away notice it was very clean nice. Even though it is a small restaurant the decor is really nice and tables are well adorned. Reminds me of home. The coffee is good, not too strong, not too weak. The service is very friendly and the staff is very polite and attentive.

Came here and thought it was Ximapa but it has a new owner and I am even more happier then before. The owner was on site and was very polite and kept a lot of the favorites on the menu. Ordered a carne asada burrito which was great. Ate some chilaquiles which was amazing. And a family member irdered a torta which was great. Will definitely be going back.

Food:
The food is great; it didn't disappoint me. The prices are generally fair to good. The food is fresh ; the carne asada isn't tough or hard like it was cooked awhile ago, it has the perfect texture (morning visit). Their carne asada burrito is a decent pick if you are looking for a burrito, but this place has great carne asada fries!! (I'm not sure how the other people got so much asada on their fries compared to me 😭)

The hot sauce is decently spicy :) It has a really warm feeling that doesn't linger for long. The flavor is kind of lacking but it does add spice, if that's what you are trying to get. The green sauce has the texture of salsa, but it is tasty :)

Location:
It is in a strange business lot that can be hard to turn into during busy hours. The business, itself, is a decent size. They have outdoor seating available. Indoor seating was off limits due to the pandemic, but there is decent floor space available for seats.

Service:
The service is consistently great. The owner appears to always be there to work the front, she has a warm and welcoming personality. There's also a young waitress that works here; she is quite attentive to customers, though, there were only three people there, at the time. I only saw her once; the rest of the time was the owner who was handling customers when no one was ordering.

Forst time here Great delicious food. Customer service is so awesome. The lady is very very friendly. I wouldn't mind driving all the way from venice.

Ordered the Machaca plate, and it was delicious! Fresh and delicious, I highly recommend!

They also have fresh juices, I opted for the strawberry mango juice and it was fantastic! Very refreshing and all natural, I like that they did not add extra sugar to this.

Had a great experience, and will definitely be back for their lunch/dinner items. Thanks Ximapa!

The food is amazing good very everything is made from scratch and made to order and knowing the food is coming our fresh.

What I order did not like,too much onions bell pepper,I had a hard time finding the meat,the portions were not good,this was my 3 time ,looking for a nice place to eat.

Salsa is amazing! Passion fruit drink is sooo good! Food overall is delicious!! Server was so cool we loved her!!

Beautiful place to eat, the owner was very kind and helpful all the time, I definitely recommend the food, I tried the chilaquiles rojos and the verdes, but I like the rojos more, they have a little chipotle taste that was delicious, and the horchata was also tasty, natural, excellent, they charge a little bit more if you order breakfast after 12 o'clock and also charge 4% of the bill if you pay with card, I prefer to pay cash and give them that extra and a little bit more on tip they deserve it, I forgot to take pictures because I was enjoying the food, next time I will do it.

Amazing food, am from the Korean town area. I was just passing by and need something quick to grab. This did not disappoint.

This place is a jewel in montebello went with the wife to this place and it's awsome the Costa Azul camarones are the bomb especial with the jalapeño piece inside of them and the Aguas frescas are delicious i have to give alot of credit to the chef good food and great service we have an amazing experience
