Furaibo Japanese Restaurant

Our usual orders are always Teba-Saki (Chicken wings), Karei Karaage (Fried Fish), Agedashi Tofu, Tori Soboro (Grounded chicken over rice), and Korean BBQ. Very consistent in quality and flavor. Been coming here and the one on Sawtelle in W. LA since 90’s. Never disappointed.

I've been coming here for many many years. With all of their locations, I think this one is the best! The ladies who serve here and have been here for many years. They're very nice and polite. The food here is always heartwarming. Even if it's crowded, it doesn't take too long to get your order. Besides the chicken wings, you should try the other dishes like the fish bass and the salmon delux chazu. This is great value for money. Everyone I've taken here has always been surprised about the place and they always want to come back!

Lovely little restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious, well priced and portions. Our Server and her “support team” was very friendly and professional. The only drawback could be the parking as there are quite a few restaurants in the strip mall so parking tends get tight, especially during peak dining hours; and I recommend making a reservation to avoid long wait times as this is a small place and they fill up fast.

Foodie co-worker said that the baby halibut, steak dinner and chicken wings were a must get. We we ordered just that. And we crushed it! The staff was friendly and attentive and the food was yummy! I'm sure the menu offers other dishes, but you can't go wrong with the steak, wings, and baby halibut! Sorry no photo this time we were so hungry it was gone before we knew it!

My favorite Japanese restaurant.
They try to make it healthy as possible, try to seat you in right away, and they are definitely polite. Big parties are good here since there are drinks, but I recommend a reservation and the whole party must all be there.
Their food is American made into a Japanese taste. Very unique, never tasted anything quite like it. Anything from dates to parties to casual eating is great here. Also, it's very AFFORDABLE here. I go here at least once every 2 months. Sometimes, I order to-go. :-)

So I went there last night for the first time and I was definitely impressed. A great eating environment, friendly staff and the food is terrific. We ordered the chicken wings, egg plant miso, soy sauce grilled rice ball and of course some hot saki....The flavor of the chicken is to die for....hands down the best chicken I've ever tasted! Before departing we ordered more chicken to go. What also was impressive is later when leaving the restaurant we found out that one of our servers was actually the owner waiting us. How awesome is that!!

One of my favorite places to eat at! I would typically eat here with a large group of friends and family! The food is amazing too!

Absolutely loved it. Those wings and even better the thigh/leg (CHITA) combo is fantabulous. Saw the owner there and he came and took our order very pleasantly and with the vibe of great customer service. The eggplant topped with sweet miso sauce and the rice ball in either soy sauce or miso is just as great. To top it all off the prices are extremely affordable (and this comes from someone who has no problem spending $150+ for 2 people just because and why not when it comes to good food)and as Im typong this review Im about to call in an order to take home tonight. Sidenote: If you're up to it drink a large hot sake (its only $6) while you wait

They have the best chicken wings. They are super crispy salt and pepper wings. I always get them spicy. It is not spicy at all but super tasty.

I always enjoy coming here for lunch, their lunch specials are all great me personally I come here for the double Jane plate. The food is always fresh and you get a salad and some miso soup before you get you main dish that come with steamed rice. The service is great and the cooks always greet you with Kon'nichiwa (hello) when you walk in. I can go on for ever about how good this place is but I'll let you the reader go and find out for your selfves.

This place is known for their wings, but the sleeper hit is the # 15 Pork Cutlet lunch special. You'd be hard pressed to find a better lunch deal than FuRaiBo. The plate comes with miso soup, pickled veggies, rice, large pork breaded katsu cutlet, and a great shredded cabbage salad with cucumber, tomato, and shredded tuna. Excellent value and consistently great.

Excellent Japanese chicken. Recommend getting the wings: double teba for lunch or teba dinner box for dinner orders.

Service is always great here too.

Super delicious, authentic Japanese food! It's a great place to sample a variety of food because it's izakaya style, so it's all small plates! A MUST try!
