Baccali Cafe & Rotisserie

This is an all-around great place to eat..but be sure to bring a healthy appetite, because the portions are huge. I tried the Baccali Chicken with vegetables and rice and it was just right.(...but they do serve lots of meat and seafood dishes as well...)
The lemon iced tea is refreshing and bottomless.
So be sure to stop by!

It’s rare enough to find a place with great affordability and quantity all in one. Except this place gives you great affordability, quantity, AND quality. I ordered their Triple Crown dish and for $22.95, I couldn’t even finish half of it and ended up taking it to-go!! I’ve posted an appropriate photo to show the size, but I’m a 6’1 male with a “decent-sized” fist. I think my photo shows a very impressive comparison.

Classic Cantonese soul food! Can never go wrong with Baccali, that's why it's so crowded. I have tried many things, but it is all good. Refill on ice teas and milk teas are awesome too

This is the perfect siu yeh place to come if you need to have a late dinner. No matter the occasion, Baccali is always on our radar. There are unlimited refills on most drinks and portions are gigantic so I'm able to pack a ton of leftovers for the following day. I always order the combo with three meats: beef, pork, and chicken. It also comes with either pasta or rice, vegetables, and a sauce (I get the black pepper one). The menu is also very large and covers a wide range of siu yeh foods, from traditional dishes to various fusion dishes.

This place never disappoints me. This is one great Asian-style Western food available in LA or even in the US. I've been to multiple Asian-style Western restaurants (Japanese ones, Korean ones, Cantonese ones) but this place is hand down the best I could find in LA so far. They got very juicy steak and lamb chop and their baked rice/pasta is definitely far above average. I have yet to try their royal chicken and other Cantonese food but I bet those must be legit. I'd love to try their lobsters and other foods. They just have too many food choices that I have to go there more and more to try every food they have!

I felt this restaurant was a little bit run down when I walked in. It has been in the same location for many years. But the food is amazing. Big portion, fast service and freshly made. Price was reasonable Lamb chop was good. Baccali chicken didn't impress me much. The club sandwich was surprisingly well made. This is one of the best Hong Kong style restaurants in town.

I tried the chicken and flounder and both were delicious. Came with s group and everyone was praising their meals. The portions were huge so there's plenty to share. The biggest highlight for me was the perfect cup of Hong Kong milk tea: fragrant tea, creamy and not overly sweet.

First time being back here after 15years. Food is basic cantonese style diner fare. Biggest selling point being their prices. It barely rose in the last 15years. Tastes great and its worth every penny.

This is one of the historic Cantonese restaurants in Alhambra. Some of the best rotisseries around, not to mention some of the best plates of food ever!

This is a hidden gem that tourist and non locals don’t know about.
The word hidden gem gets tossed around a lot, but this is really one.
I’m hard pressed to find a place that cooks a better ribeye.
Traditional places like, roadhouse, black angus, etc… not on par with this place.
I’m guessing because people don’t drive by and think they serve this type of food in this community.
The steak is wonderful, the fries, however, another level.
You can come here for the fries alone.
Get the mushroom dipping sauce and you will be in heaven.

Fast, hot and delicious. Always order the chicken steak with black pepper sauce and a hong kong style lemon ice tea.

Big portions. Food is tasty. Always my favorite spot to come to. Affordable prices.

My favorite cafe restaurant, I've been going there over 10 years. Dinning atmosphere is great, high ceiling, experienced staff are friendly. Great food big portion.

Baccali is always great. Love their food. We picked up to go but out front they have pop up tents for outdoor dining. The difference here compared to most places is they have a plastic cover around the pop up so the next groups germs or breath won't come over as easy. They understand what it takes to do social gathering. We'll be eating here again soon and under one of those pop ups.

Over all the waiter was very helpful with recommending food and giving tips on what food is good or not. They were very patience with how long it took me to order. The food is pretty cheap for how much you got.

They have a wide extensive menu from Chinese, Japanese, Korean, American entrees. The quality of food is very good and their portions are even better! It's casual - so come as you are.

This is one of my favorite places to come for casual dining. The food comes in large portions and is always good. I've been coming here regularly for many years. I recommend anything that comes with meat. The only downside to this place is that the parking lot gets full quite often.

The steak and eggs were amazing. The steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned. It was super juicy as well. Will definitely be coming back
