Building may not seem like any ordinary museum and appearance can be deceiving, but it is like a buried treasure. Pleasant surprise! We did not have much expectations but had such a wonderful, guided tour experience. Very knowledgeable guide will present the tour with sense of humor and be educated and appreciated about history of printing. Highly recommended with kids over ten.

I had a wonderful time at International Printing Museum! The tour offered me a lot of knowledge about printing, which was impressive. Also, it was sweet that we were given some adorable gifts during the tour. The tour guide was so humored that we couldn't move our eye from the whole talking. It was a relaxed and interesting experience.

It is valuable that there is a museum keeps all those remarkable machines invented in the old period far from us. Thank you!

A hidden gem like they say. The guided tour with Peter will delight you and your kids. All machines work. And you can see them in action. You will learn more than you expect.

My sister-in-law invited me to go to an event at the museum on Sunday. I had heard of the printing museum, but never went. I was in awe of the place. Seeing how they printed newspapers, flyers, etc on machines from the late 1800s and 1900 was so exciting to me. Loved it. We got the chance to roll out the papers too. They also showed how they made letters out of hot material and they painstakingly set up each letter for an article. The neatest part is that they made our names or business name using this hot substance into a stamp, for free. The entrance fee was $10.00 and you just donated any amount at the various demonstrations. It was great. I think it's an annual event.

This place is very interesting. You can see many old printing technologies. We attended on Boy Scout day, where scouts can earn merit badges. The demonstrations included seeing a working Linotype machine (they let you keep the cast line of text), a proofing press, and making a silkscreened T-shirt.

I recently had the opportunity to visit the International Printing Museum and was absolutely blown away by the experience. As someone who has a deep appreciation for the art and science of printing, I found the museum to be a true treasure trove of knowledge and history. The exhibits were extremely well-curated and offered a fascinating look at the evolution of printing technology over the centuries. The museum staff were also incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and were more than happy to answer any questions I had. I left the museum feeling truly inspired and grateful for the opportunity to learn more about this important field. If you have even a passing interest in printing, I cannot recommend the International Printing Museum enough. It is an absolute must-see for anyone in the South Bay area.

Absolutely everyone from the age of 2 to 112 should visit this amazing Museum! They have the history of the movies and all the printing machines that have been used in different movies like Newsies and some 50 plus more. The employees and volunteers are absolutely astonishing in their knowledge of the printing business. The most amazing thing about this Museum is that you get to learn how to use the printing presses. You get to take home the things you print and you can even see one of the original Bibles and how they were printed. This is a must-see in a little town called Carson California. It's not expensive and you go home awed. Don't miss the special Productions they have during Christmas Halloween and during the summer. On top of that if you're a boy scout or a girl scout they have a program for you to get a badge.

Such a wonderful, beautifully curated and thoughtful museum with great activities and a fantastic tour that are all engaging for both adults and kids. Went with a big group of friends and family as a birthday outing and had a great time and the museum staff were so welcoming. Hoping to come back for one of their many cool workshops.

This museum is such a great experience! The tour was super interesting and informative. It's so cool to see how all the old machines worked! The 50s print shop has such a great smell, like machine oil and ink, too. I'd love to go back!

It's a world famous museum which is tucked into a little corner of Carson. Went to the Printer's Fair, took my grandson, he had a great time. There are lots of interactive displays, he had a chance to operate some of the printing presses, he even silkscreened his own tee shirt. There were a lot of vendors with a wide variety of reasonably priced wares, everything from cards to typewriters, to antiques. Strongly suggest you go there, you won't regret it.
