Dr. Elliott is the best cat vet! We have been taking our cats to him for over 10 years at VCA Marina. Great animal care, organized, cost transparent, and clean. The front desk staff is lovely too.

Best Vet on the westside. They got us in with less than 4 hour notice to do the international travel check up and travel documents for France. It was hassle free with great staff and doctor. Thanks to them Georgie was able to spent his summer in France with his cousin.

I can’t say enough good things about this practice! Firstly, they have the best reception staff, that will move mountains to get your dog seen by the doctors, as best as they can! They are so friendly and sooo good with the animals. My dog loves visiting the reception staff because they always put her at such ease! Secondly: they have one of the best vets that we have ever worked with, Doctor Elliot. We have seen many vets and Dr. Elliot has been the most patient, knowledgeable, caring one that we have come across. His determination to get to root causes and to provide your pet with the best care is unbelievable. We feel so good about this animal hospital and we love the way they care for our sweet puppy!

My Dog loves his Vet, Dr. Kevin McEvilly, DVM! He loves the staff too. Great friendly staff, always friendly, happy to see my pup and very happy with his Vet too. I love that Dr. McEvilly takes the time to cover important preventative basics - things I can do now to ensure a healthier life for my pup down the road!

We came in first thing Monday morning, 7am without an appointment. We were initally told he could not be seen until 8:20a but they saw us earlier. We were seen by the doctor and out by 7:40am with medication in hand. They awesome and helpful. All the staff was friendly and caring of our little pup.

I have been going to VCA for my maltipoo the past 3 years. I felt they were ok but not great until this last visit. I randomly got an appointment with Dr Connor due to my dog having GI problems and I’m so glad I did. He is the sweetest most caring doctor and my dog went right up to him. Normally he is fearful at the vet. Dr Connor took his time, extremely thorough and answered all my questions plus, he had the best bed side manner. I highly recommend him if you’re looking for a good vet!

VCA took amazing care of my Sterling and Dr. Ohm took so much time to answer all of my questions and make sure he was properly checked out. He also tried to find the most cost effective treatment for him which I so appreciated. 10/10 would not take my fur babies anywhere else. Thank you!

We took our dog Beau to meet his new vet and were reassured by Dr Thatcher's "bedside manner". He took the time to study Beau's medical history and gave our old boy a thorough exam offering detailed explanations of his health issues. We left feeling sure we had made the right choice for Beau.

I've been to a lot of vets because the condition my dog has, and I've realized how happy they can be even though it can be a place of utter sadness. This vet is no different, great and helpful people.

There's pretty big discrepancies in the quality of care you get between the different veterinarians there. Some are brand new out of vet school, others have decades of experience. For example: we took our dog there for a lump on his neck and one of the less experienced vets (Dr. Thornberry) told us it was cancer and that there was nothing that could be done. We were beside ourselves! Later, we took him to our normal, experienced vet there, (Dr. Sandy Milo), at which point it was diagnosed correctly as a fatty cyst. If you work with the experienced vets, this place is great. If you get a less experienced provider, beware.

VCA buys up individual practices with experienced vets then bundles them into bigger offices and layers on cheaper, less experienced vets.

You can trust your pet will be treated with kindness & the best care by an extremely compassionate staff of doctors. Since my first pets’ visit ( over 40 years ago! ) and the MANY more pets that followed I’ve never needed to go anywhere else. Nobody’s better than Doctor Thatcher, Dr Elliot & entire Veterinarian staff. They alway give their very best. What more can we hope for?

Love this place. Since the pandemic, it has been really hard to find a vet. Lots of them patient list closed or very long wait for the appointment. But here is close to where I live, got an appointment within 2 weeks and the best of all, the price here is much more reasonable. Highly recommended

This is a great place to take your pet. I like how they do not try to over sell you. They really do seem to love pets as if they are there own.

We love Dr. Brandt and the incredible, friendly, helpful staff at VCA Bay Cities Animal Hospital. We followed them over from their former location on Washington Blvd. and are as happy now as we were then! Dr. Brandt is a total gem of a human being and has been our vet for 6 years. She loves our Alfie and always takes such good care of him. I highly recommend her and the rest of the staff! Thanks for all that you do!

The wonderful team at VCA Marina Bay were so wonderful to my tiny family and I during a horrible time. They were the only vet hospital (after calling 12 different clinics and home visit companies) that were able to accommodate my day-of euthanasia appointment. They were kind and gentle to me and my Benjamin and gave us the space and time to come to terms with my decision and to grieve before and after the process. They were able to find space for myself, my partner, my dying pet and his wife. Unfortunately, in the heavy grief of the moment, I don’t think I even had the chance to say thank you. So thank you to the entire staff at Marina Bay, I couldn’t have asked for a better team to help me say goodbye.

The vets at VCA Marina are thoughtful, kind, gentle with animals and the front desk friendly and helpful. We are big fans. We have 2 cats and a dog and have been coming to this vet for over 10 years. I especially like the way they bring you the costs for recommended services which gives the breakdown. Aside from the exam cost (about $70) they do not do anything else without your approval. Highly recommend.

Despite the longer wait times as a result of Covid, the service at VCA in Marina is still impecable. Our veterinarian was extremely thorough in addressing our concerns, worked with us when our previous vet wouldn't send over records, and even called to follow-up on our pup's progress. Can't recommend this Vet any higher! Shout-out yo Maggie for always being pleasant :)

Dr. Thatcher is wonderful. We have taken our senior dogs here as well as our new puppy. The staff is all great, from the front desk to the vet techs. They run on time and are professional and curteous. They have also given us great recommendations for specialists with in VCA.

Our dog has been coming here since she was a puppy and the whole staff is great. They really take care of her and make my boyfriend and I feel better about taking her to the vet. It’s not an easy experience for the dog but the VCA in the Marina does a fantastic job.

This was my first time at VCA Marina Hospital and so glad I picked it as my new vet office. My two doggos are my favorite things in the world and they really made me feel comfortable and at home while here. Dr. Cleveland was so informative and kind! And everyone in reception were helpful, too!
