King Taco # 24

Definitely an iconic taco spot in Southern California & it really hit the spot.

I ordered two carnitas tacos and two Al pastor with a carnitas sope along with a horchata. The tacos were on point! Best tacos in SoCal & I highly recommend them. The carne asada nachos with velveta style cheese was also delicious.

During peak hours it can be pretty busy but overall the wait for your food isn’t that bad.

Amazing must stop here if you're not from the area. It's so yummy the red sauce is so good. I have nothing bad to say. I order the sopes sin carne extra cabbage 😋 I mean it's just so delicious. My friends like the meat so and there's always a long line. It's good and the inside is big. Always have space to sit.

Food is really good. Service is really slow. Part of it depends on the staff. The main cause of the slow service is customers who stand in line for 20 minutes, then wait to decide on their order at the counter. Some people literally took five minutes to order.

They could use a kiosk or something where people who know what they want can walk up and get down to business without having to deal with the slow people.

tacos tacos. my choice spot in So Cal. Love their hot sauce. When you order take-out, make sure to order tacos in multiples of 8. ask them to pack them in a box. 8 tacos per box. see photo. tacos are much more enjoyable this way.

Everyone in the restaurant strongly cooperated with Covid and social distancing guidelines. A good number of people were there waiting to order. The staff was crackerjack, swift and were extra friendly. My Quesedia was delicious and my tamales prepared perfectly. Can't wait to go back.

Still no dine in but still the same great tacos and salsas. I like combining both the red and green salsas, spicy but quite delicious. The Carne asada is usually clean, no fat. Tripa tacos are good too, crispy yet tender. I posted a short video of the interiors on Google maps, take a look if you're curious how it looks inside.

Food is always delicious here!! The only thing I don't like is the long line, specially on the weekend. Also they should give more salsa 1 per burrito is not enough. Other than that I love the food. The place us always clean and the service is also good.

The red sauce in this place pairs good after drowning your palette in beer 🍺

The cow brains would be better in a blue corn tortilla in my opinion... other than that I would go back 23 more times .

The sopes de asada and tacos , as well as the tamales de pollo are delicious! Wasn't a fan of the Al pastor. It tastes a bit too sweet for my liking.

Everytime I'm home (California) this is what I have to go eat!!! 😋 the best!!!!

We had to wait a while for the food, but it was worth it. These were some of the best tacos I've ever had! The salsa was a bonus!

This is my favorite location. They are acute with the food orders. They also just changed there hours to open later.

King Taco is the King of all others. Simple tacos with cilantro cebolla and green or red sauce. But the flavor of their meats is unique and the red sauce is the bomb. The explosion of flavor that it produces in your palate is out of this orbit. Been trying to ask for the recipe but I could never get it everytime I asked. They are so stingy with their sauce and they dont serve lemons.. but let me tell you that the flavor itself dont need any lemon (maybe they marinate the meat with lemons included) anyway I always ask for an extra red sauce because the next day at home con unos huevos estrellados and that sauce OMG thats another story. Some of their staff are very rude, for example when they called your number. But I still give the place a 5 Stars review. Just go in and find out for yourself why.

Great tast and service.

Food is delicious. Line was out the door. El sope de carne asada is tasty! They are stingy with la salsa verde, though. I ordered 3 meals and only received 4 salsas. Bummer :/
