Knead Donuts & Tea

This is easily the best donut shop I've ever been to. I've traveled to Portland and checked out their overhyped Voodoo Donuts and this place blows them out of the water. The staff is so friendly. The selections are fresh and well displayed. The place has a humble mom and pop vibe but so good you would think it should be a national chain. Considering I currently live 714 miles away I kinda wish it was. Whenever I come home to visit family, I make sure to make this a stop on the itinerary. Thanks and keep up the great work!

I love the Vietnamese coffee here it’s strong!
But they have 4 levels so you can always get its lighter and sweeter. Donuts are fresh and delicious.
They have super bomb breakfast sandwiches as well.
Customer service is great.

Regulars here! Vietnamese iced coffee and tiger tail are THE best and a weekly ritual. Highly recommend. The seasonal coffee and doughnuts are perfection. Amy, May, & their family put so much love into Knead.

Best damn donut shop ever ! The vietnamese coffee is a must ! I ordered creme brulee and maple bacon.

I love Knead Donuts, they’re so nice here! I feel like very welcomed every time I come in and leave. Today is National Donut Day and I stopped in for a coffee, and I’m avoiding things like donuts so they gave me an entire thing of strawberries instead. 😆

Atmosphere is great and very friendly customer service. I have had their donuts and they’re excellent! 10/10 recommend Knead Donuts!

First time here. Decent parking, they have a bar table with chairs inside along the building for dine-in. We ordered two Vietnamese ice coffees, two breakfast crescents, and 4 donuts. It cost us about $60. Taste and service 10/10.

Was driving down 7th and stumbled upon Knead.
Never had a place ask how strong/sweet I wanted my Vietnamese coffee. I got 25% sweet and the coffee is amazing. It was a little smokey and just the right amount of sweetness.

Also got a dozen donuts and the flavors were amazing.

Super friendly staff!!! I went in this morning to get a coffee and had never had Vietnamese coffee. The employee gave me a sample and when she found out I’m not normally a coffee drinker, recommended making it into a latte. It was perfect and went so well with the glazed croissants! So glad to have such an awesome place in the community!

Came back to this place to try it again and it's still just as good. Great service, great coffee and donuts. Really hoping to see this shop to expand to other states. Definitely need something like it on the east coast!!!

Finally, some good freaking donuts! Been traveling around Cali and missing my donut spot back at home. So I dragged my parents in, who are very hesitant about trying anything new. (Dunkin fans amirite?!)

We all ordered croissant sandwiches. I got the turkey one, Mom got 'the works' , Dad got egg, cheese, and onions. All were very delicious!!

Good quality meats and very fresh eggs. The sandwiches are made to order and the eggs are over easy. The croissant are soft and flakey but with that nice crunch to bite into.

Next are the donuts. Parents got Tiger Tails and I ordered the Guava Cream Cronut.

The Tiger Tails were are nice and soft, probably the closest to a basic donut anyone would be used to but Kneads twist is still above a normal glaze twist.

The Guava Cream Cronut has the cream layered ontop of the cronut but plenty of the cream you can lick off to go with each bite. Very tasty.

We also got a strawberry cheesecake one. Which is almost too pretty to eat. Fresh berries on top with a cube of strawberry cheesecake. Soft, sweet and very delicious. Would definitely eat it again.

Lasty, I did try the Vietnamese coffee. I got the regular since it was my first time here. Not too sweet but a nice strength. A bit too much ice for me but still overall a nice cup.

The presentation is top notch. You can tell the people or family who work here care about what they are serving to their customers. Even the branding on their boxes is very professional.

The storefront was clean. There was plenty of parking outside. Staff are very friendly and greets everyone who comes in.

Happy I came across this place. I'm not in Long Beach often but it was a nice morning treat and best of all I got to break my parents out of their comfort zone. Mom and dad are definitely going back!!

You might never know from the street what a delightful donut shop this is! It's small and unassuming, but it made LA Eaters list of the best donut shops in LA, and after trying it I have to say I agree. They craft beautiful looking, absolutely delicious donuts! One of the simplest they offer, a blueberry cake donut, is probably the best cake donut I've ever tried. I also loved the creme brulee donut. Also to give you a sense of the establishment: when we visited, they had sold out of the creme brulee. We must have seemed a little sad (we were) because the owner and his wife turned around and made some for us, fresh, right there. No donut shop has ever done that for me. Really gracious and kind owners, and really good donuts. This is a place I will happily support! 5 stars for me.

They were very kind and helpful. Great Vietnamese coffee and donuts. The croissants are good and the jalapeño dog too.

So far the only thing I love about working in Long Beach is Knead Donuts. In fact I see they close at 3 pm, I plan my workday around when the store is open. Pricey but they taste as good as they look.

Update- this is the best location they have in Long Beach it might be 20 minutes farther from where I’m working but so worth it.

Went here for a quick birthday breakfast! I got the creme brulee donut and they filled it fresh for me with my choice of filling. We also got a cruller, apple fritter and the maple pecan. I really liked the maple pecan, so moist and fluffy. It tasted like amazing pancakes! Everything was delicious! The service was excellent. Totally recommend. 💜

I needed specialty donuts made for daughter’s birthday and Amy made it happen! All my guests were blown away by the creativity, attention to detail and delicious of the donuts! 100% recommend for when you need an elevated comfort dessert!

Incredible donuts and the Vietnamese Coffee is amazing! Only place I’ve ever been where they asked how strong / sweet I wanted the Vietnamese Coffee and they made it perfectly for me.

I got a Creme Brulee donut and Strawberry Shortcake and both were exceptional.

Can’t wait to come back!

This review is long overdue, have been coming to Kneads for over 6 years and do not plan on stopping. The doughnuts are amazing and their croissant sandwiches are so delicious and filling

This place has the freshest and most amazing types of donuts. Even the croissant breakfast sandwiches and hotdog buns were worth trying. I highly recommend it.

I go so often that one of the staff members remembers my usual order! They are fast to get you your order, have a loyalty program, have convenient parking, and the food is really good. Tiny bit pricey, but these are specialties and you get what you pay for.
