My review is only based on their anime and cartoon accessories, figures, food, etc. great store with lots of fun anime/cartoon themed food, Sanrio products, and figures, although the figures are pretty high priced. Cool spot, they’ve also got a hot food section of the store, bathrooms available and seating for the eating.

This place looks much better than it did in the past when it was a different Japanese supermarket. It has so many great goods from Japan. And so many nice places to eat at inside. I felt like I was back in Japan when I was looking at the stuff in this store. Good prices too. Lots of parking available with other restaurants beside it.

Love going to this market, so clean, and so organized. The prices are great too and the atmosphere is very cozy. Their onigiri is so delicious and their melon bread is one of my family's favorite.

I just love this store. Large selection of almost anything you need in the kitchen. Utensils, knives, chopsticks, sushi, fresh food, large assortment of ramen.

Food and services are super . I left an item from checkout. I made a phone call, they will keep for me so that I can pick it up. Great!!!

I love this Tokyo Central location not only I find anime drinks & snacks definitely sushi & Japanese snacks imported from Japan. Missed so much. Super satisfying.

The sushi and hand rolls in this place are top tier. The other snacks were all okay too. Don’t be fooled like I was by the hot Cheetos. They’re simply the jalapeño kind.

Great store! I’ve recently organized a Japanese party and shopped for it at the store. Got a lot of fun stuff. Will definitely come back there to purchase an authentic Japanese stuff again.

Great selection of packaged Japanese foods and weeb snacks. The food stalls are decent and the Japanese workers are incredible as always.

One of the best family markets out there, great and friendly environment , the food is great I love the steam buns right after get sum beards n papa's awesome place really good prices.

Big store with huge selection of everything home and food related. Super clean and organized. Has a eating area too with ramen, beard papa, and burger shop.

Excellent selection of foods and home goods, neatly organized and not crowded and spaced out aisles! Lots of ramen and japanese snacks and prepared foods!!

This store carries all your favorite Japanese food items to make at home or already made. I really enjoy getting the vegan Bao or a roasted warm yam from the eatery inside then doing whatever shopping I need.

I often come here after visiting Sweet Rice for khao soi, and Sakae Sushi for nori maki. I pass the tempting cream puffs at Papa Beard's, and the handmade Japanese buns. On to the fish department to get some salmon for sashimi. Sometimes I get tobiko, or masago, sweet scallops, or hamachi. The bentos are also interesting and good. There are all kinds of prepared sushi, sashimi, takoyaki, and other good stuff. The fish quality is consistently good.

Great Japanese market for fresh and frozen food, raw seafood, home goods and groceries. Has large cooked lunch (bento) section as well as various other businesses inside that sell ready to eat hot food and sweets like beard papa cream puffs.
I've never managed to get there early enough to buy a fresh hot sweet potato but they do those too and the smell is wonderful.

Drove passed this place literally for decades. Went in for the first time this weekend. It's great, period. Lost of unique items.

I call this place "The Tokyo Dome". It's a really neat market that has all the Japanese wares you could dream of (well maybe not ALL of them).

Huge selection of snacks and food you got everything from sweets and treats to full blown ingredients for a succulent Japanese meal. All the items are labeled in English so if you can't read the labels you're covered.

They have figures, puzzles, pens, tea, air Spencers, pocky, lemon tea, I could go on forever! Love Japan? You're a huge weeb? This is the spot.

This is the flagship store, has food and household goods, same merchandise but not as busy as Torrance and former Marukai store. Biggest selection of goods from Hawaii in SoCal at affordable prices so this is why five stars
