You are not an ordinary barber shop. I love how easy it is to get the perfect beard trim and haircut without having to go around that much. Also the staff is really helpful and nice

Nick is an outstanding professional. This is my 3rd haircut with him and I love how much attention puts into detail. The barbershop is surrounded by a friendly and respectful environment. Thank you.

Update December 2023:

Each time Nick does a better haircut than the one he did before. I usually cut my hair every 3-4 weeks but this time took me 8weeks. I always do the “same” haircut but Nick keeps adding details. Well, Nick leveled up his game on the past 8weeks. I’m so happy I will visit my mom looking so handsome :))

Came in needing to get a janky haircut gotten elsewhere cleaned up for a family wedding, Nick L did a great job and intuitively understood what needed to be done. Best hair cut I've had in over a year!

One of the best compliments I can give is that he didn't cut too much. Sometimes it feels like hairdressers want to cut off more than they should no matter what I ask for. Nick was very attentive to what was asked for and was good about suggesting things in addition to that instead of just doing things without asking or things not asked or.

Nick L was the best barber I have had since moving to LA. Patient, focused on his craft and gave great advice. He is a kind and gentle soul. I made sure to buy the product he suggested and pay close attention to his blow drying techniques.

Love this place, usually easy to get an appointment, cut, buzz, shave, fed, undercut, they do it all! My son always comes out happy!

Justin is the ultimate stylist, extremely professional, very friendly, very warm and welcoming, I don’t ever want to go to another stylist. I’ve actually followed Justin from one store to another and I’ve recommended friends and I get the same feedback from friends about how amazing he is. The environment is always pleasant. All the stylists and people that work there are always friendly. I always love the music, the vibe and scenery with all the various artists on the walls. Floyd’s 99 is my favorite Stylist shop that I’ve ever been to. Thank you so much for everything you do.

I had my hair cut and colored by Keenan and I’ve never been happier with the process! It was quick, professional, and exactly what I wanted. It’s especially tough to find people who can handle my hair type with such finesse and with such great results. Highly recommend!!

Keenan at Floyd’s 99 on Santa Monica Blvd. gave me one of the best haircuts I have ever had. Not only was the experience very relaxing but Keenan is great a conversation and had me laughing the whole time. A Highly skilled individual, personable and simultaneously professional about the cut. He was able to take small breaks to ask me if I liked what he was doing up to that point. After I approved, he asked how much further to take off, if I was ok with him trying a slight variation in the style and if there was anything new I wanted to look at (he had several style mags with multiple variations). A great session at a very reasonable rate, with a near perfect outcome. I highly recommend trying Keenan.

Everything is easy at Floyd’s Santa Monica, they always welcome me with a smile, waiting time is minimum, staff is professional and prices are so friendly. The place always clean, and basically it’s the perfect place for me and my kids!

The lady at the front desk is always very helpful and quick with checking in patrons as they arrive. Stacey A always asks how I want my hair cut and she always does it exactly that way. She is always on time for my appointment. After about 3 or 4 hair cuts by her now I won't get my hair cut by anyone else. She is always professional and efficient, which is very important to me.

Keenan is a great barber, and he gave me an excellent buzz cut. Haircuts are so expensive these days but Floyd's price is excellent relative to other places I've been to in Los Angeles, so far. On top of that, Keenan is an incredibly kind and funny dude, who will listen to what you want and will always make you feel at ease, and satisfied with the service. Can't say enough good things about these folks. Support them! Thanks brother.

Adela, has been cutting my hair for 4-5 years. She understands and knows my hair very well. She is extremely detailed and precise when trimming the length. She simply the “best.”

I used to go to the Floyd’s location in Belmont Shore and was happy to see it was a chain when I moved to LA. Same cool vibe and super happy with the barber/stylist Keenan. I like a very specific fade and he got it right from the jump so I keep going back. I take his recommendations for the top cut and am always happy with it. After my first 2 times going to him I now don’t even have to say what I want done for my haircut.. he just knows my head/hair.

Excellent facility. I hadn't made an appointment but the friendly recpetionist Nicole got me someone within 5 mins of my arriving there. Keenan did a phenomenal job cutting my hair and was an ABSOLUTE pleasure to talk to. I'm definitely going to keep coming back. Thank you very much!

Super cool rocker ambience at Ffloyd’s. It’s a great value for the money and honestly exceeds expectation, especially with energetic personable stylists like Keenan. His demeanor is optimistic, which feels good when you sit in his chair. His personality is really fun and humorous. He is confident with his tools and takes care in communication with his clients. It just doesn’t get any better, especially for the price.

The best part about this place is Sara S. I mean the staff are all cool, but she is the best person I've had cut my hair in decades. Super fun super talented really polite really positive good energy kind thoughtful great therapy listener for dishing on the garbage of life in between the last haircut. Make sure you see her in my honest opinion.

I had my hair faded by Andy. My normal guy was busy and I was recommended to him by a friend. He did an amazing job! He was delicate with parts of my head that were injured and he was super friendly as well. I highly recommend him for any barber needs

This visit was a success. I enjoyed the cut, the commentary, and tipped well for the service. This was the first time that the stylist, Jackie, had cut my hair and it was great. My hair was quite long down to almost my shoulders, with that said I gave few instructions and allowed the stylus to use her own experience and judgment on what the final cut should look like.

The stylist was quick and decisive with the shears and scissors. Stopping at intervals to make sure that I was okay with the progress of the cut and/or length. A previous stylist at the same location by the name of Van did an equally successful service as well. I would recommend both of these stylists Jackie and Van.

Since the creation of this particular business at this location, I've had nothing but success from the stylist. I will be coming back again for a future services I needed.
