I absolutely love Kathryn and this salon! Being a professional myself I was looking for a place while visiting on the West Coast. Kathryn is a very educated professional who is caring, attentive and an amazing colorist and hairstylist! Not only was I lucky enough to find her for my hair but I was fortunate enough to have a Cryoskin Facial Treatment by Kathryn and the experience was amazing! The treatment itself felt so refreshing and soothing, and after my face and neck felt so rejuvenated and firmer. I look forward to another visit! Highly, highly recommend! Kathryn is great at understanding what you want to achieve and making it happen. I first came here because she offered a less harmful hair color option, which she successfully provided, and that made me return. She is very knowledgeable with color, highlights, cuts and styling. Her personality is fresh and warm. She also sells high quality hair products. I love the homey-modern decoration of the salon too. Prices are definitely reasonable. It is a delight to go to her salon and walk out feeling like a star.

Maria is an outstanding beautician and very kind and considerate. She does a great job coloring, cutting and styling my hair. And, she is also reasonably priced.

I have been going to Maria for 20 years and she is fantastic. She is a great hair stylist! She knows exactly what I want and I always love the end result. She is a lovely person, always friendly and makes you feel so relaxed. I now think of Maria as a friend as we've got to know each other so well over the years. I had the pleasure of getting cryo slimming treatments from Kathryn to tackle my stomach pooch after having kids, and BOY am I thankful that I found her! The treatments were incredibly quick and effective and I saw my belly get flatter each time I went. The cryo machine's wand gets warm in the beginning and then cools down to -5.5 degrees to crystalize the fat cells so that your body can flush them out. The cold temperature didn't bother me at all. Kathryn made me feel comfortable and the environment of her salon is nice and relaxing. The cryo treatments can target other body parts, including arms, legs, face, etc. I highly recommend Kathryn for anyone looking to slim down.

Had an amazing experience. Went from long hair to short hair with the comfort of knowing that Kathryn who has been cutting my hair for years would do a great job. She shared with me that she has started doing cryoskin and cryoslim treatments. We did a cryoskin demo and in 20 minutes of cool gel and gentle face massage my skin was glowing and forehead wrinkles are less severe. I can’t wait to do another treatment!! It was pleasant, relaxing, and affordable.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Where do I start? I'm SUPER picky about my hair. I even flew back to Louisiana for a couple of years because I didn't want to find a new hair stylist in CA (I know, crazy!). A friend introduced me to Beach Chic Salon around 8 years ago and I have been THRILLED ever since! Because I have a very sensitive scalp, I love that they use the most gentle hair color available. The stylists are true artists with color and cuts. People literally stop me in the grocery store to ask where I get my hair styled! Contrary to many of the Salons I had tried in the past, Beach Chic Salon has a positive and calm vibe. EASY parking since they are in an office building. And WOAH...their newest addition has already made HUGE difference in my skin with NO plastic surgery :) I'm normally extremely skeptical of these types of procedures but I can see my forehead wrinkles and turkey neck (that has bothered me for years) melting away already after just one treatment, with no cuts or injections!!! I'll post before/after pics when we're done with my package.

We met in Santa Monica where my office, and her previous salon was located. Now I happily go to The South Bay because once you find the right person, you don’t change that! Her coloring skills are beyond anyone’s abilities I had ever gone to before. I’ve referred several friends, and they also feel the same. She’s a sweet, caring person and we have become good friends. You’ll love her, everyone does...
Last time I was there I did a Cryoskin Facial. I looked 15 years younger after! I’m looking forward to doing a series as it’s an alternative to ‘needles’ which I’d prefer not to do. I highly recommend checking it out.

When my previous salon closed I was on the mad dash for another one. When I came across Kathyrn I couldn’t have been more pleased. It’s a friendly warm environment and my hair looks great.
