Dr. Choi and the staff are amazing.
They took me in on a short notice. Comes to find out I needed some oral procedures done including deep cleaning and wisdom tooth extraction. The procedures went flawless and I felt no pain.
So thankful to be in great hands at Pelican Dental.

I'm not the biggest fan of dentists but this place is different. The dentist was very kind explained everything really well.

All of the staff are so welcoming and nice. They make me comfortable and relaxed when getting my teeth cleaned! Dr. Choi takes great care of my teeth and is very informative. Also, the office looks clean and well put together and doesn't have a rushed feel to it.
I'll continue to go here for my dental needs. Overall, it is a great office and I definitely recommend!

Hands-down the best dental care you could ever hope for. Dr Choi is incredibly knowledgeable and makes your dental wellness accessible. She answers questions clearly, and meets you where you are in your dental care.
The staff is amazing, friendly, professional, and attentive.
They also have all the cool new dental gadgets that make a visit as comforting as possible.

I was referred to Pelican Dental from my sister. This was the best first impression of a dentist office in years. The staff was friendly; the X-rays were not painful with the bite block positions that go under the tongue. The dentist touch was gentle. I experienced no pain during the cleaning. She explained everything in detail. Honestly I had my teeth cleaned on the day of my dental appointment. I had no out of pocket cost due the day of the visit. I have paid literally $200-$300 out of pocket for X-rays and cleaning and I have Delta dental PPO through my employer. This is the first time in years that I was not directed to the financial person to sit down, get the breakdown of the total which is $2500-$6,000 ( literally $7k for two implants and extractions), and sign and agreement, similar to a contract. Such an honest establishment! Other family have already been referred.

Both the dentists and staff are super nice and friendly. Dr. Choi knows very well how to handle young patients. Also both dentists are very professional, honest, and experienced dentist.
My husband has been suffering from frequent endodontic for a long time, but he's been perfectly treated since he met Dr. Koo

I love their super clean, modern style interior as well. I am very satisfied with the service and care my family received, and would definitely recommend Pelican Dental.

I read a lot of reviews in search for my new dentist. If you are doing the same, I would strongly recommend this place. As soon as you walk in, you will feel the difference. Besides the modern decor, friendly staff, and brand new top of the line machines they use, Dr. Koo and Choi knows how to take care of your teeth...painlessly!

First dentist I have visited recommended cosmetic crowns for misaligned front teeth which involves significant grinding and more.
(with 8 crowns top and bottom)

Pelican has equipped with latest technologies.

After scanning and 3D simulation.
The cosmetic crowns are not recommended with few reasons like..

significant grinding of original teeth
potential nerve damage and root canal
not enough spaces for many crowns (will lead to opposite results)

Dr. Haewon Choi has recommended invisible braces for just a year instead.
And she has great confidence of good results.

Definitely 5 star!!

When no other dentists were taking on new clients, it was difficult to find a new patient appointment. My son was having a bad toothache and I walked over to the Pelican Dental Office and asked for an emergency appointment. They treated my son in a very professional manner and found the receptionist extremely helpful. We were given an estimate of repairs and my son was treated that same day and follow up appointment Also really appreciated the clean and safe environment. I would highly recommend the Pelican Dental doctor and staff for dental care.

I can never recommend enough Pelican Dental. My family have been patients here since they are brand new open. Dr Choi and her staffs are very professional, details and caring. She is very knowledgeable about what she does.
The facility is 10 out of 10, super clean and hygienic. All the equipments are modern and up to date. They provide services from dental care to cosmetics. I feel more than welcomed whenever Im here. My husband and I have been seen by Dr Choi over the past 10 years. Her office used to located in LA and then we found out about her new dental office in Redondo beach. We were so ecstatic! Dr Choi is professional, honest and most importantly very competent . Her knowledge and skill are up to date and she is one of the few dentists who offers laser dental treatments. We are now taking our boys to Dr Choi for pediatric dental service as well. So happy to have a dentist that our family can trust.

Friendly staff and awesome crew. They use the best technology and equipment. The doctor is not only very good at what she is doing, but takes time to explain each step. I am taking all my family (even my kids) and relatives for their checkup. I highly recommend this place.

Very good service, the staff was friendly and I got my teeth cleaned. Very clean environment and the doctor was very professional in treating me.

The last dentist you will ever need. Dr. Choi is an amazing dentist. She is professional, friendly, highly skilled and ethical. She is always looking at the patient's best interest. My wife and I have tried other dentists in the past and we are so happy to have found a dentist that we can trust. Note, i am basing my review on the care she has provided for my wife and i, over a period of several years.. I highly recommend Dr. Choi and Pelican Dental!!!!

Pelican Dental is hands down the best Dentistry I've been to. Brand new facility, state of the art technology, very accommodating for children as well. I've been a patient of Dr. Haewon Choi for quite some time now, and we've covered a lot of ground from orthodontics (invisalign) to fillings to cosmetic and general cleaning. I am extremely glad that Pelican Dental is here in the South Bay, and it looks like I'm due for another visit soon.
